PEOPLE: If you want the game to actually work you need to right click and select unlimited storage, otherwise you will continue to have problems with freezing and button sticking...hope this helps...

2 stars. It has really control reactions and every time I go in the menu, EVERYTHING starts selcting things in a out of control fashion! To also top that off, in the batlle parts, the controls won't work unless you reset the game MANY EFFIN TIMES! The only thing I like is the music, that's it.

Controls are clunky. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, and the controls frequently stick. This is NOT my laptop, as it doesn't occur in other games. Controls don't even work at all in Chrome.

movement keys randomly stick and the 'pedestrians' wont move out of my way. This is especially annoying when trying to cross over a bridge and they just stand there, even when I move away. 4/5

I really wish the game was fully 8-bit. When you make a game 8-bit with 32-bit maps and character images it clashes terribly and loses all of its authentic feeling.

It's a good game but at Canonia don't hire the mercenary because he costs 1000 gold and you can only have 4 people in your group at a time and you will shortly have the paladin on your side.

@danimal1979 Well, I'm not sure why you'd want to skip all the interesting dialogue, but in case you haven't noticed, it says to press "Z" to skip right above the dialogue box...

Love the game (5/5), but it could use an "Are you sure you want to overwrite save game?" dialogue box. I accidentally wrote over my save file from Mardek chapter 1 :(

Well, apocalis20 (I know you made this comment a long time ago, but) this save-between-chapters idea has been done before. In fact, many ideas in this game have been done before, but I do think Pseudolonewolf utilized them better than those games did. And IronfistOrc... many of the chests are easy to find, and the progress does carry over from Chapter 1, so either it should be very easy or you get it as you progress through the game; it is an easy badge.

After you finish the first mission in the caves when you get back to the castle if you go back cave instead of to bed,you can get alot more chests and lvl up too i got many different items and lvled up to lvl 6.Thumbs up so everyone can see

wtf is wrong with this game. my party is level 9 and i am getting repeatedly raped by level 3 and 4 mobs. further the react system is horrendous - at least make it a passive ability once mastered. fights take forever 1/5

I kind of lol'ed when i saw a Pheonix Down outside of a Final Fantasy along with the girl Elowyen you meet by the lake near the beginning who is crying over the statues reminds me a lot of the dancer girl in Final Fantasy 1. Very cute and amusing!

Any game which changes mouse cursor gets one star, it is not needed and usually doesn't work well. Also Fx ans music should always have separate mute buttons. Option to skip tittles is a must although the writer might think they are interesting and add to the game. I for one will only ever read them after I have found a game with good game play.

Anyone who showed up here for Badge of the day, I can't recommend this game enough. If you think turn-based combat is always "hit 'em til they die, heal when necessary," you MUST play this game. This game is FAR deeper than that. Even in chapter one, there are hints of strategy to make the better go a little smoother, even though it's basically turn-based combat 101. Starting with chapter 2, the gloves come off. You MUST use strategy or you WILL get killed. That and, as everyone is quick to point out, it has a deep story, great humor, and really good music.

Finally a badge of the day on Mardek! This definitely should be a more difficult badge to make more people know about how wonderful this game is!

@FuriousRage first of all there is a mute button in the main menu... second the music in this game is awesome and should not be muted... and third even if you have no taste in music, just mute your pc....
