I think I just got a trilobyte key from the bandit I spared earlier, but I don't see the key anywhere in my inventory, and I'm not offered it again from this character. Is it supposed to be visible in inventory?

it was good til my game glitched... I died and was reloading after the 4 people in the grotto and I lost my file. :[
also, auto save doesn't seem to work

wth?! O_o my entire inventory disappered. 12 health pots, 16 anitidotes, 16 holy waters, etc. all gone. just replaced it with a key. >: (

You can beat the 4 ones like any MMORPG party. First kill the healer then the mage. Maybe the otherway around works better if you have smite evil, the mage really goes down very fast, while dealing a lot of damage. Then kick the knight, don't worry about the thief at all, he hardly does damage...being fast doesnt count much in the game mechanics like this.

Pseudolonewolf, backup your content somewhere outside your home. Best some internet service. I for one always sent myself emails with attachments. Or else you might lose it all with one unfortunate event.

How very annoying! There are all these saving issues all of a sudden because of something that I had absolutely no control over... It makes no sense to me why the latest Flash player would make the saving code just suddenly stop working. I don't even know if there's anything I can do about it, especially since I no longer have easy access to the chapter 2 files (they're on another computer which is in a box somewhere, and the versions on this computer all include chapter 3 content...)
I'll certainly make sure to have chapter 3 compatible with the latest stupid Flash player, but all I can do for this chapter is hope that there's another newer Flash player soon that fixes the bugs the other one introduced...

first of all, if u read the stuff at the beginning that said use x to confirm selections and z to cancel them u would have known how to exit the inventory menu. Also, if u use the same computer when u play the game each time, then u won't have to replay it everytime. I have had no problems with loading and saving. I can save anytime I want, then load the game from where I left off. The key is to use the same computer in order to continue your saved game.

Its the 3rd time i save my game and when i come back to play it, i have to start from beginning!
Good game, i just didn't like to RE-PLAY the entire game each time i enter it.

If you press 'p' when you're in your inventory screen, it will display all of the details of the item that you're hovering over.

I think that this and the first chapter r one of the best rpg's I have played. GREAT JOB! The only thing negative that i can say is small and quite trivial...I wish that the Encyclopaedia included information about the items (weapons, armor, useable items, etc.), and that when my mouse scrolls over an item in the inventory screen that a window or something would diplay the technical information about the item (i.e. scrolling over a sword would tell u what skill it grants u and how much dmg it does). That is it. Aside from those two things I absolutely love the games!!

I recently upgraded my Flash Player to "WIN 10.0.12.36" and now my save data is gone. Also, the menus and battles are EXTREMELY laggy after upgrading to the newest flash player. So much so that I've died because I ended up healing wrong people, or I wasn't able to use defense abilities and so on. Perhaps another update to the game is needed to compensate with this new flash update.

Won't hold a save with mac flash 10.0.12.36 - would like to play more, but I'm not going to keep restarting after hitting the band of adventurers too early! Would be interested to play a version without flash compatibility issues, so 4/5 for what the game probably is when it doesn't fail to save.

Very nice game. As you stated in the description, it reminds me of the early Final Fantasy's or Dragon Warrior series. Even some items are the same. But heh, nothing wrong at grabbing a few good ideas from older games. Good storyline and graphics. The humor in dialogues added a nice touch. Keep up the good work. 4.5/5

Just finished this game... wow, what a great experience. I love the old-fashioned 2D style (which looks pretty sharp!), the secret areas, and the variety of weapons/items.
More than anything though, I love these characters. Mardek: "I'd only kill someone if they killed me first!", or Emela: "I'll probably spend all the money on clothes or makeup" Mardek: "Me too!"
[spoiler]I hate that ending! It's genius for the game, but I loved that guy! And I didn't get a chance to talk to Elwyen again, or help Emela on whatever her secret quest is. *sigh* I'm all alone now. I'll definitely tune in for Chap 3 when it's done.
[more spoiler]Can't wait to face off Steele again! We all know he didn't die in that bolt... they didn't check the body after all. Kick his butt Emela!

Well I've commented on your game before.. just a technical suggestion for any upcoming games. Whenever a character becomes no longer a member of your party their items should be transferred to your current inventory. Also, it may be best to avoid missables, I had to replay Chapter 2 to get all the chests/finish the arena and find the undead dragon since I saved over my previous files. Of course, I liked the game even on my second playthrough. I think I did sell some one of a kind items by accident, thinking they'd be sold in the trilobite village. Perhaps a "dialogue" section of the menu that would story any previous dialogue in case you might've missed something by accident or need to check back on some details. Perhaps an increase/decrease encounters button too? Once again a word of praise on making a great storyline/game, can't wait for Chapter 3.

Anton, how do you hate it? Just DONT DO THAT. Besides, some enemies are suspectible to healing (They'll take damage) and elements from other members can be absorbed for healing. Try it out sometime.

---1st is from Gope. You didn't kill him, did you? If you did, you're screwed. Go to the Goznor Inn and speak to him. He'll be so grateful that he'll give you the key
---2nd is from the Grotto, level 2. Use the map to find the exact spot. It's hidden.
---3rd is past Moric in the Catacombs, in Social Fox's tomb. Before you fight the zombie dragon.
---4th is dropped randomly from the zombies in Canonia. Keep killing them until you get it. You may have to leave town and go back to get more zombies.
