Hey DarkFire! Thanks but I can't seem to find the plot-related boss. Is there some secret door or something? If so, where?
And alo - This game is great.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
pseudo... love the game, but favorite part by far is when you fight the security orbs they heal themselves w/ "repair.exe", fantastic, 5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the zombie dragon is in the catacombs, behind the area where you fight the plot-related boss. Also, this series rocks.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Does anyone have an idea where to find the boss bad guy in the catacombs? I have looked everywhere but can't find him.

Here's a tip, Levinkai, know what you're talking about before you spew idiocy all over the comment section. You can have up to 8 party members, but only 4 active at any time. The others can be switched out whenever you need them.

I spent 25 hours playing this game, fished it - completed enough for all four badges - and now I can't load my save and get credit????
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i went to the bottem of the lake and my A,S,D,W pad went all funky.. this game has wayy to much glitches and the keybord/ mouse combo is crap
otherwise amazingly good game 3/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
All four of my guys are asleep against the bandit king. Funny thing too, because MArdek has the 100% sleep resist item equipped

mattex2, that's a Flash Player/browser issue, not something that I can do anything about. It's not like it would affect anything massively anyway though.
sooch, that surely is your monitor, so it'd be best to just adjust the brightness.
For all those people who can't get out of menus, turn off Caps Lock!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Here's a tip. Maximum party is 4. If you already have 4 members you can't get a fifth one. So don't waste 1000 gold trying to hire another one

a bad point: the mouse pointer. yes your hand is fancy and i think it should stay. but please fix it that the mouse doesn't disappear entirely on my other Firefox windows?
I concur with Andy, expanding on the whole "skills on stuff" thing would be awesome. along with maybe mixing skills together for combo's? (Ala Chrono-trigger or Breath of Fire 4)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Maybe it's just my monitor at work, but this game is almost too dark in places. In a lot of the caves I have to be inches from my screen to tell the difference between the places I can and can't walk.

@Dalmuti, i know that but i mean really exposing that, and elaborating on it, by having a variety of armors and accessories that have special ability's, and maybe creating side missions to obtain them, the creator just touched on it in this chapter, and I'm just giving feed back to enhance that, in the next chapter it would be great to have a wide selection, which would create a more in depth gaming experience. i would really like to see something new and unique in the next chapter. just trying to inspire psuedolonewolf

deathanj3l, it might be that Mardek didn't bother to hang to 4 copper rings for 8 years... You might notice he starts with a sword and a chainshirt. Time has passed, and the characters have changed. I think that's only fair.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The only negative thing I could say is that it is very annoying to discover that one have to replay the whole game in order to get all 4 keys :\
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ALSO, i just wanted to touch on character enhancement. would be really interesting to see more of a variety with character's skills, for example, it would be so much more enjoyable if u implemented skills to armour aswell as accesories, like u did with the weopons, almost like materia in FF7, it isnt copying, its just utelising ur predesesors. drawing from them and implementing it into ur own work. it would dramatically enhance gameplay, as it adds another aesthetic definition to an already foundational game with the story line already in motion, just lacking a bit of depth and colour, i hope i havent confused u. im just passionate about R.P.G's, and unlike Playstation games and such i really can suggest my own ideas.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
WOW, this game has an amazing storyline, aesthetic characters, that simply define an R.P.G game at its fineist. There was an immense leap from Ch1-Chp2, in terms of in game menu features where u didnt have to constantly alternate from mouse to keyboard, which i was extatic about. I hope in the next chapter you'll raise the bar again, cause this is officially my Favourite game on the site. id really like to see some hardcore gamer aspects such as R.P.G fanatic secrets. like the final fantasy series with the ultimate weopons. and armour. would be amazing to implement something like that. i know that would make alot of R.P.G fans very happy.

Very well made game, and funny dialogs and parodies.
Though, I had quite a few crashes playing it on Firefox (on Linux), but with the correct version. The browser just quit, so I saved very often. 5/5
@Terra: Its in the bottom right portion on the second map of Eastern Glens.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not much to say except FRICKIN AWESOME. But I had already beaten it and defeated the zombie dragon, how come I didn't get zombie dragon badge?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Are the trilobite keys supposed to be loaded into your inventory or are they kept hidden. Everytime I get one, it doesn't appear in my inventory. :S
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
took me 5 hrs but finally finished..all treasure..all badges... tho i still dunno wat the left path in the lake qur is for..since whenever there's a mission we can't go in..and whenever theres no mission..i can't cast aqualung to go down there to explore..so yea~
so i guess majority of our equip will b gone by chapter 3..unless we manage to recruit the same ppl again...since everywun is gone..T__T
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Inventory doesn't even need to be shared. One needs a bit of strategy to keep them balanced and useful as it is now, and that's nice. But if they could all be accessed at once, say as four quadrants on a singe screen, it would be much less of a pain to switch things around and I might actually do it some time.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Annoying bugs is the only problem I have.
Everytime I reload the game, smite goes back to unmastered and after having to remaster it twice, its really starting to tick me off.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
okay, so I played through the entire game, beat it all, and now I have to play through it *AGAIN* to get the other two badges? Thanks for the warning. *A LITTLE LATE THOUGH*

"I'm an adventurer AND I'm a women! That does not make me a sex object! I'm not wearing a chainmail bikini!"
Funnest comment in the game...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
first of all, THIS IS PERFECT... almost !
5/5 ! 10/10 ! 101/100 !
And, is there a way to get the saved game and copy it somewhere else on the computer ? Cause it will be deleted if i restart my computer... ty !
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i noe its been 8 years but how did 4 copper ring turn into 1..T__T..when i ended chapter 1 i still had 2 copper ring on each char... well hope when chapter 3 comes out..everything from my chapter 2 will stay..o.o keep up the good work..^^
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
OMG!!
I have seen this game on many different sites, and this game is... still the same.
Good work Psuenadblahfjkl! (I meant to do that...)

Pseudolonewolf: Well done. Hats off to you, mate. As a flash dev myself (who has yet to manage a full RPG), I can appreciate the time and effort that's gone into this game. The fact that it only has a couple of minor bugs, in itself is a masterpiece for a project of this size and ambition. The dialogue is funny, the graphics (must have taken MONTHS) and sound are spot-on, and the coding is remarkable.
To produce something like this in Flash is a testament to your personal skills, and I think despite the critics, this game will be a benchmark for several years to come. Congratulations on a job superbly done, and a well-deserved 5/5 from me.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm somewhat annoyed at having to play through almost the whole game again for 30 points. *sigh* maybe tomorrow.
Key II drops from Canonia zombies, not Goznor.
