If you want the keyblade(tribute to kh) after you fight the locksmith, if you don't get the key, refresh, and load the game right before you fought him, if it doesn't work again, then try again, the drop rate is 50%, but sometimes it takes 3-4 tries, but you'll get it.

Do not, under any circumstances, kill Gope in the crystal mines. Not only will you be unable to get a Trilobite key from him, which means you can't get to Cambria unless you buy it in chapter three (and means you can't get some of the better items in this chapter OR fight in the arena), but if you talk to him in this chapter he will become a very useful travelling merchant in Chapter 3.

If you kill Gope, then you get a couple exp, whatever he drops, and the inability to complete the bestiary. If you let him live, you get access to the Cambria Arena and a very practical wandering merchant in chapter 3. So basically, if you kill Gope, you wouldn't be able to get one of the hard badges.

a tip: train around the areas with save crystals. then if you ever need heals, you dont need to travel 10 miles, which will probably get you a game over battle

@LightDemon987, Mardek wore the cog necklace that he had from chapter 1 when I transferred my save. And did you pick new game or load game? You have to load game to transfer from chapter 1 -> 2 -> 3

A word of warning. If you're using clear data from the last game, make sure to stick your equipment and stuff in your inventory or item storage. I don't know if people have said this before, nor if it's just me having the problems. All I know is, I load my clear data, I look at my equipment, and Mardek isn't wearing the cog necklace I got. (Anyone know if that thing's one-of-a-kind?) BUT, everything's the same in my inventory. And yes, I did check item storage for it. Point is, just in case it isn't just me, and if say, this'll happen again when I transfer to Chapter 3, or perhaps for some reason you just spend stupifying amounts of money on potions in the previous chapter for some reason, it'll help to know. Feel free to rate this how you like, I don't really care.

Whenever I try to load a game, or start a new one and save, it gets stuck and i cant cancel, confirm, or go up and down. Anyone help? I dont want to lose my progress!

@TLP 1, I had this same problem with the game when i was using internet explorer 8.0, Try switching to Mozilla Firefox or Safari, that's what worked for me. If you don't have either, I am almost certain there is a free download for both browsers.

@Gchick: Were you hitting an enemy that absorbs the dealt damage? In that case health or mana leach will reduce your own pool. You can check resistances by clicking its health display in combat or by checking the encyclopaedia; a resistance >100% means that the monster (or the hero, e.g. if (s)he's wearing the earth jacket) absorbs a certain amount of the respective damage.

Not sure if its a bug in my game or a problem in all: Emela's staff is supposed to absorb the damage and turn it into mana according to her hit damage (if attacking regularly), yet it reduces it.

This game is amazing I love it, it combines so many different aspects of different games I love so much such as the AP system, Zombie Dragon, and of course it has the old style feel to it. Still I was very disappointed when the zombies attacked Canonia I couldn't get to the guard guy there since I forgot the reward I lost some money I could have gained. I also noticed one small detail I am unaware of if anyone else noticed but the wannabe hero leader looks a little bit like Mardek in Fantasy land of MARDEK RPG Chapter 1?

Every time I get an item from a treasure chest,it asks me which of my characters i want to give it too.Whichever character I choose,however,the item doesn't show up in the inventory or the items menu in battle.So,the item has pretty much disappeared,and it really sucks since i get a lot of good items from treasure chests.Help please?

ok one suggestion.... put the greatblades[ deugan weapons] in item storgae as he didnt die at the end of chapter 2 heis still alive and ight return as a ally so better have them for any case

@Kiyoow ok ...see this.... emela will returnas an enemy boss.. deugan hasnt died yet as emela rescued him. steele returns as a enemy boss to.deugan wont reveal himself as his sacrifice wouldnt have been heroic if he lived ... to find out more PLAY CHAPTER 3

pro tip: in the final battle, it is much easier to de-zombify your team than to revive and heal them. not only does morich spend a turn (that he could use killing the rest of you) turning your mate into a zombie, but a holy water takes one turn and you will usually get them back at full health

The end is such mean (and troll). Mardek ended up alone, with his best friend sacrifying himself for a 'better cause', Emela just leave like nothing happened, Vehrn is stupid lol, Zach is an ogre when the question is emotions. And about the yellow 'thing' like Moric, 0 divided by 0 isn't equal to infinite. ): And one question, where were Donovan and Sharla? Washing their hairs I bet. AND MY VEHRN TANKED THE ONE-HIT KO ATTACK OF MORIC, LMFAO. Moric's a looser.
