I love this game. It's a game I keep coming back to because of its sometimes immature, sometimes thoughtful, and always entertaining humor, the characters all feel special, and because I can nerf a boss so hard it can't do damage to me.

I really do wish Pseudo would release the script (at least roughly) for the rest of this. It is a shame he is not continuing it but that is his decision, however any fan spin offs would just have me wondering what the "real" story was meant to be. As a writer I can understand being disappointed with an old story though; I have a few I wouldn't be too keen on sharing, let alone finishing.

@RaresB5 Too_ManyCats Honestly MARDEK was going towards a more spiritual ideology. Qualna is a perfect example of moral ambiguity; he willing plays the role of the villain, but does so to teach a lesson. His aims were noble and good, and he took the dark road to do so. Granted, he was probably under the impression that Rohoph wouldn't kill a king to win...
Now that I think about it, the best spin offs would be
1. Deugan/Emela between Chapters 2 and 3 2. Enki (any point) 3. Legion's souls 4. Clavis, assuming he is an actual person who willingly worked with Qualna 5. Steele. Not really. That guy sucks. 6. Social Fox? 7. Sslen'ck's backstory (probably would involve the Blacksmith, one of the ship crew (for non-earth/fire element), and maybe the Dark Guardian). 8. Sharla and Donovan, Chp 2-3

@RaresB5 I'd be fine with changing it to have a more spiritual approach. Better that than to never release the end few chapters.

I found on the fig hunter a spin off called Steele RPG you can still find screenshots that look super cool and it was about Steele after the mine and what he did until we meet him in Chapter 3 in The Dark temple....Unfortuatly the file is either corrupt or it was deleted so i hope some of you can help by i dont know contact the authors or if you have a copy or something its so bad that it is no longer available because the screenshots look great so have a look on fig hunter

He says that he made Mardek when he was a teenager and that now that he is more mature that his tastes have changed and no longer sees things as black and white and that he likes a more spiritual approchment to games I hope my post answears your question

@AkiraAgnar Therefore a spin off. Maybe he will miraculously decide to finish Mardek one day, but a spin off about something else in the story (say Enki or Deugan or something) would still be theoretically viable.

@Too_ManyCats: I applaud you for this, but then again in a way no one can truly finish the game, it is best left like this. What I WOULD suggest is trying to work with Pseudo to try to make a spin-off, unless he already finished the planned games script. You could probably try to make one about Deugan's travels between 2 and 3. Or maybe Enki (Mardek's father) before he settled down. Of course, it would be best to make it based on a script Pseudo made lest it become a butchered mess of a fanfic which adds in some more gameplay but really doesn't carry enough of the game's true spirit (ever played FFIV the After Years?). Either way, I'd be happy to help and give ideas. You also might want to look at the Figverse wiki (the Mardek wiki) and see if you can get the remains of the community on there to help you contact him. Best of luck, I hope you succeed.

@konakai4 I'm quite serious about it, I think it would be a great idea to complete the series. Getting Tobias to work on it as well could help with his depression, by doing something that he used to love doing.

I'm just curious. Is it possible to get the Rusty Armor and Rusty Helmet (the default items on Mardek) if you imported your save from Chapter 2?

Pseudolonewolf has abandoned Mardek to work on Taming Dreams. If I got his permission (which is near impossible, since he is not currently on any forms of social media), I could finish up the series.

A great game, but also a strong example of excessive content. The first dungeon takes longer to complete than the entirety of Mardek 2, and you can't even leave it until you've finished the quest line. You could play for a whole day without even seeing the map screen.

Guys, Pseudolonewolf said on FigVerse Wiki that he plans to start Mardek 4 after Alora Fane: Creation is finished. However, the game probably won't be released for a while, as Alora Fane is not near being completed, and big games like Mardek take a long time to code. If he is to release Mardek 4, it will probably be in >4 years.

I doubt Tobias will ever finish this game, due to his depression and brain tumor. It is hard to contact him as well, so there is no way to get someone else to finish it.

Had Pseudolonewolf not abandoned Mardek, he would have been in the league of the world's most renowned developers and make quite a profit. Sad, but that's the reason why one can't simply abandon his game.

If that is the end of the series, then what would be the episode count? Also, if there are 1+ episodes, then what would be the ending for those?

And in Battle in with "Infinity" , he is too strong and attacks with Giga Break , a powerful thauma skills that wipe out party, but Lone wolf, reveals himself as deugan and the two friend fight together like chapter 1 - 2

Yes or, but before heading into astral plane, we travel a new fortress to defeat The Mysterious Man (Steele) and take back the Violet (Dark) crystal to it's place, once is replaced, roroph awakens from his "Paranoia" of killing GDM

Good ideas, but I think the end battle should be Mardek being controlled by Roholph against his party, and he should be powered by the Violet Crystal.

I Am Still Hoping For Chapter IV comes out, as many players, if Pseudowolf, doens't feels good to make it, i wil ask his permission to make it. If he let me, i already have a perfectry story in mind for it. We All will not let Mardek End Here
