Hi folks, hi Pseudolonewolf, ^^
I'm not a newcomer in Kongregate and my achivements profile could prove it. I've rated a lot of game, and i'm french, what is making me very perfectionist. But it is the first time I give a game a 5/5 rank ! I'm on it since last monday and I think this game really has the quality of a "professionnal" console game. Lengh, depth, details, humour, etc.
Pseudolonewolf, I just wanted to thank you really for this game, I really love it. I play since Chapter 1, and I'm on Chapter 3 after the Sun Temple, I attempt to finish this Chapter too and I'm waiting for the next one ;-). I just hope the save file system won't change for the Chapter 4 x).
Anyway thank you again and good work on the next Chapter :-p !

Id like this game better if I could change the controls from x and z to w and q, just something higher on the keyboard so my hands arnt right at the bottom of it

I spend an hour on the tournament in Cambria, get to the Red Dragon, get it down to t know if I even want to attempt it again. SO frustrating.

Um crazywarriors you do know that you can have up to 12 speedy juices (Which gives Haste obviously) and an Auto-Haste Fairy?

Water Guardian is easy. The party I used for it was Mardek, Gloria, the lizard guy (I hate spelling his name), and Ewlyen. Mardek should spam his attacks and same with the lizard guy, and also casting boost on himself if he has it. Make sure you have water amulets equipped on all your characters, reduces water damage by 50% and can nullify most of tsunamis damage. Gloria should spam razor leaf and heal the whole party after a tsunami. Mardek should heal some people as well if necessary. For Elwyen, I really didn't care what she did but I mostly used Dolorous Dirge or Runic Rhapsody.
Then it should be a piece of cake.

I finally beat that d@m annihilator karnos after like 20 tries with a lvl 40 mardek, lvl 32 zach and slenc'k, and lvl 35 solaar. I did the cambria champion arena before it plus did the solo arena for each of my dudes (and highly recommend it because the awards gives slight elemental resistances which can save your life in the battle) and i used the haste fairy for mardek and the magic shield fairy for slenc'k (because he is very vulnerable to all the magic attacks from karnos)

I just finished playing mardek I & II and I have to say that this game is a masterpiece. I'm having more fun playing this than I did when I played Final Fantasy XIII
This game was more enjoyable to play and the skill system was extremely well thought-out. It reminds me some of the materia system of FFVII.
Well overall 5* game, well thought out, well made, well written, and enjoyable :D.
Also don't let the "haters" get to you. There are plenty of people out there that like as little depth to their game as possible, take a look at how popular point and click multiplayer shooters have gotten recently... Many of my friends that play CSS, CoD4 or Halo(1-3) have never played any form of campaign or followed any story related to the game. These gamers are deprived of any form of depth to their gameplay, so when they find an RPG like this they can't see how brilliant it really is.

Hey i got Tactic for WaterGuarding(Emela) just use a thing u can buy from Gope he has something that gives 50½ water resistance in passive without having to be a skill and a skill which gives 50½ water resistance

Wow, this is without a doubt, the deepest flash I've ever played. So many secrets, so many things revealed... absolutely phenomenal. Rohoph seems to becoming more and more arrogant and it seems he's almost ready to completely take control of Mardek's body and kill everything in his path. I also noticed many aspects similar to Deliverance: the lost monastery, the Rock Mole (Moo!), the forging, etc. I can't wait for the next Chapter, I imagine it will be pretty hilarious with Gaspar setting everything on fire. :P

Pseudolonewolf you are one crazy dude to make a game this perfect and let everyone play it for free.... with that said i thank you for letting everyone experience the No.1 rpg flash game in this site.... its way better than the early final fantasy games...what else can i say this series is just so good....

Strategy for Security Demon (also lower levels): Poison (with Stingstick equipped - and remember to re-poison him when it wears off), Null Air Once, Morality Block, a few Ethers for MP, a few Holy Waters if he curses at the beginning, and then up to maybe 15 Phoenix downs for the occasional physical attack 1-hit-KO. Reason to kill it: One-time opportunity to get LOTS of exp (at least 2 levels) since you cannot encounter it when you have the Gold Warport Pass. Rate up so other people can achieve the same exp.

I think this was implied when I said, "I finally see the demon fall. I receive a level up for Mardek and 3 lvls for the others, along with a golden warport ticket. BUT NO BESTIARY INFO!!!"

for all MARDEK RPG fans i like to tell if u have the soundtrack going in FigHunter the music is much better (just change the music for what u want and like) made and more clear and u can really hear the details at Casual Battle (thats like the only thing i have going because its good) well thats it good gaming :D

the escape button needs to be usable in battle for those few occasions where you get stuck in a battle you can't win or lose

this game by far should be the highest rated game on kong, somebody put tons of time into the game..... the people who rate it bad are just too stupid to figure out how to play

@Pseudolonewolf, I love your games, and don't understand what the haters are meaning. You will always have haters everywhere, and with every thing. The trick is to not focus on them, but on the people who do love your games. Which are a lot of people. :)

I wanted to update flash player, but to do that I must delete old version. I did that...... and now all my saves are gone. Almost 10 hours of playing is nothing now.... Im gonna cry...

I notice that "positive" comments are highly appreciated and "negative" comments are dismissed as "haters".
With such juvenile logic from the developer, I am not surprised at how immature and poorly written the script is.
After playing for 4-5 minutes i decided to quit. I did not find the extremely juvenile attempts at humor "OMG I AM BALD, did you notice?" as entertaining or necessary to a plot.
A shame, because it seems that the developer put a lot of effort and time into this game, but I will not invest my time into a game with such childish/amateurish dialogue.

An AWESOME game. It could be made into a real console game, compared to the other mostly minigames. I loved all the satire and parody. All of the Mardek games have really been well thought through. Reading all of the bookshelves and descriptions, this game has some very deep and insightful parts along with the amusing parts. An extremely fun, addicting, creative, and detailed game. 5/5

I don't know why I'm saying this but for those who are looking for gold ore, you can find it in the first one on the right side in the Earth Temple. Just get in the room follow the path until you get to an intersection and go south. You'll see this rock and just press x on it and you'll get gold ore.

Anybody Else's items randomly disappearing? Please bump this up so Psuedo will look into it. Cause I SWEAR I had 10 Ectoplasms just disappear and then I bought one and it disappeared too. And then my Dark Shield disappeared. It's getting REALLY annoying.
