pseudolonewolf just wanted to say that your mardek series is one of those rare games that keep me entertained for hours on end and a game that i can keep coming back to and play over and over again, basically i love mardek and can't wait for the next installment!

This is without a doubt the best rpg game here so if you agree go tell other people about the game and in a little time it can be the highest rated rpg, its very funny is just like one of the best RPGs ever made Final Fantasy

Forget best flash RPG. Forget best flash GAME. Forget best RPG. This is, IMO, the best freaking VIDEOGAME that there IS, ANYWHERE. At the very least, it is the best one that I have played. EVER. Some games deserve a 5/5. Some games deserve a 6/5. Some deserve even better. This game deserves a gopublishthisfreakinggamelikenow/5.

I find it irritating how when one of the enemies dies because of Elwyen's Dolorous Dirge song, Elwyen doesn't get the extra XP as if she had killed it. After all, she was the reason for its demise...

Hey, Pseudolonewolf: Mercaeador's sprite has the monocle on the opposite side of his picture. I am not sure if this is intentional; in either case, I figured I would bring it to everyone else's attention so that they would also be bugged by it. :P

Um, I need help from one of you 3669 people that have done the "Psychosomatic Exhaustion" badge. (Those of you that have defeated Animus) I don't want hints on HOW to beat him, but how to GET to him. The last time I played this game, I never beat him. I know, the last dreamstone is from Qualna. So, from there, how to do you get to Animus?

Wow, that's annoying. I equipped Donovan with a blood gem so that he drains hp, then attack a fire phage anyway. THAT, naturally, is the time that he crits. Talk about the random number god... (tvtropes, if you're curious.)

@Conquerer95: Well, Happy Johnny DOES have a 70% evade chance... That might have something to do with your eight consecutive misses which, while uncommon, is not overly unlikely (6% chance.)

@Gere: The graphics are "bad" because that is what fits the game. Imagine this game with COD graphics - Good? No, absolutely TERRIBLE. Why? Because that's not in the style of the game.
Weak plot? Not compared to many PROFESSIONAL games. How much plot do you see in videogames in GENERAL? If you mean how the fifth wall is crying over the remains of it's predecessor (in other words, how meta it is), then that is for all of the people with a good sense of humor and who enjoy a good parody. If you don't, well, then, I'm sorry for you, because you will miss out on a lot that way.
In any case, it's in the "Best of 2010" for a good reason - because many people actually enjoy its sense of humor, the appropriate graphics, etc. If you don't enjoy that, well, then you are beyond help.

Once upon a time there were 4 brave warriors led by Mardek. They were invincible!....until Happy Johnny came along. Now, Mardek had defeated Happy Johnny several times before. But THESe two Happy Johnny's led Mardek and his team to their doom. With EIGHT consecutive "misses" (why does this game include them?) from Mardek's whole team and frequent "1000 Needle" attacks led the 4 great heroes to their doom. They didn't stand a chance. The end.

Excellent game, by far one of the best free RPG's one could find on the internet. I would personally rate this a solid 4/5, as the old-school NES graphics combined with cleverly orchestrated musical pieces creates a unique experience for any adventure/RPG lover. The things that could have been better are really just what would have made me enjoy the game better; More equipment ( with more skills), more characters for different team combinations and an updated "MARDEK RPG walk-through" so that i know where to find specific skills for my characters instead of searching every shop and killing every monster to find out. Thank you Pseudolonewolf!!!

i see almost nothing wrong with this game. its funny, entertaining, strategic, and just plain great. the only thing i see improvment on is when i have magic shield up, it also blocks out heal a great deal much. please fix this problem. idk if you want it that way or not though, just pointing it out.

I honestly think that the reason this game has only a 4.3 is because it was included in a Kong quest thing, and thus a lot of people who would be bored by any RPG felt the need to play up to the end of the Sun temple, and therefore felt entitled to rate it. Which is really sad, because this game is way better than any other game on this site IMO =(

This one time, in '96, I visited a water temple. I have hated every water temple since then because they all remind of me it with their puzzles!!!!
