all you need to know if you are stuck on the water temple trying to get the white moonstone switch is turn ON the green and turn the aqua and sapphire switches OFF.

Why doesn´t the dragon use fire attacks on Mardek? D:
I relied on that and gave mardek so much fire-DEF that he absorbs it. It worked at the water temple, but this dragon seems to be sheer incapable of breathing fire. Damn. :(

this is one of the first times iv commented and when i play this game about 09 it was about a 8/10 this year i saw MARDEK 3 so i started again and ill love it i rate it 100/10 you can make games better than this.

A few hours into it and its is really a master piece. Amazing game. Love it already. The Final Fantasy-esque feeling to it, LOVELY :)
Simply 5 stars.

That is the worst suggestion ever. It would completely ruin the game. And make it way to easy to beat all of the bosses.

I would like to be able to play the Arena more than once, and not losing the game if you don't win the arena... just having a shot 24 hours later, or 12 hours later (like the reset skill from Sonny's engine). Being able to receive exp without losing the whole game when defeated, it's a nice way to allow all players to have a shot at finishing every boss in the game (pretty much like in the Protector Series where you get exp even if you lose the map). Just an idea...it would be nice. =)

It is at least somewhat obvious where the plot is going. Significantly moreso if you pay attention to all the little details. That is what I truely love about this game. You have a lot of material stuffed in here that you only get by paying attention. The musical score is EXCELLENT, the combat quick, bosses inventive. It is an outstanding game, and is easily one of the best RPG games I have played to date.
I would say this game is around a 95-100. I have two issues with the game. One is that I could not stop Mardek and crew from making terrible, horrible decisions that will obviously have bad implications later. The Yalort monastery in particular and what was done with the artifact exceptionally agitated me. Not even Roph did anything about it. The second problem is "Gone Forevers", items that are in limited supply, monsters or people that disappear, etc. It causes me to end up hoarding things and wasting a good deal of time so as to not cripple myself later.

Master Chekhov. You've set up a dozen rifles upon the wall, all primed and loaded. One can see where they will fire, but the anticipation is what will kill.

I really liked this game actually I don't think it's a final fantasy rip off he may have gotten an idea from it but he didn't slap on something like "last Fantasy III!"

It'd be pretty nice if there was an item that increased the monster appearance rate when equipped. Filling up the miasmal chalices after you've gotten the crystal for the area can be annoying, and I think some item to increase encounters would help.

i know that enough comments have been made saying how stupid people are that say this game is a rip-off, and i dont mean to over-do it, but its impossible to make an rpg that doesnt borrow a little from some previous rpg. Sure, there are games like this, but there are no games who's main character is named Mardek who fights with lizards and kills happy cactuses

I can't even imagine how much work it required to be done.... Great, really great congratulatios for Pseudolonewolf and all those who helped you it this project. As an RPG, this game should be terrible. The reaction system is interesting, but horribly implemented(try mastering a magic defense reaction within your lifetime). The story and dialog try way too hard to be funny but fall short, making the game embarrassing to play. But it still manages to be fun, especially during the more challenging stretches of the game and the boss battles. And you really have to appreciate the effort put into it, despite its flaws. 4/5

Hey, i don't know if is it a bug but when i clear a temple and quit de Crystal y can still fighting beasts there, and very helpful if you don't killed enough monsters for the Miasmal Chalice.

thank god deugan came back as lone wolf. i think. i hope its him. sounds like it would be, green armor(earth element is green), quite like he was, and "seems like a zombie" which everything from earlier on in the game seems to come back as. woot!!1!1!

@greengaby9 there is no bug, you have to activate all the gem switches to get to the purple gem switch flip it so its on, then turn OFF all the OTHER gem switches, this will give you a clear path to the guardian, thus the crystal.

Hey, I found an esthetic bug. Solaars front left leg looks as if it was cut off or something if she dies or in the animation if I win.

A lot of things have already said about this amazing game, but I am going to say something about the music. Seriously in this game you better music than commercial games! Especially towards the end game I got similar feeling that I got so long ago playing Breath of Fire 3.
Not many games manage to do that. Pseudolonewolf for a one man you really know how to make games that makes the players amazed as reading all these positive comments points to.

This is quite possibly one of the greatest RPG games I have ever played. The humor is truly great and all of these FF fan-boys need to shut up and play the game through and actually enjoy it. No complaints about the game thus far.... There are absolutely no flaws with this game! Can't wait to see the next 5 chapters in the 8 part RPG story! :) I don't know why I am writing this saying it will disappear in the next 5 comments....

Excelent game! Definitely best game here and one of the best game I've played ever (including commercial ones). Nice story, interface, some fresh (for me) ideas, great skill system, ... Only music could be better, but anyway, it isn't so bad. I wish commercial games would have such wonderful gameplay.

Great game, but they should seriously let you save after the fire guardian fight. The Fire Guardian is a pain (at least to me) and having to fight him over after getting owned by the Saviors is just annoying. Even so, 5/5 and favorite.

5/5, and one of the few games I think actually deserves that as opposed to a 4.5 or so. The sheer length and scope is impressive, especially combined with the rest. The systems are good, the difficulty reasonable, the usable characters are numerous and different enough, and the story was excellent; a lot of the game was silly, but the dramatic scenes after the start of the point-of-no-return were all very well-done. (Particularly the revelation of the true nature of a certain character; Dreamstone #17 was painful to read.) I hope to see the later episodes fairly soon!

Although not being a huge fan of RPG's I had alot of fun playing this game. What saddens me though is that there are still people who call it a rip-off. Its like they never played either of the games they're talking about!
Really a great game 5/5 and I hope you win the 1.5k $ prize
