I have been very impressed with the growing game series you have produced here Psuedolonewolf. You incorporate those elements of classic RPGs that we've all come to know and love in a brilliant fashion. I have only noticed one glitch so far with MARDEK 3. Some of my items that I've had in storage with characters go missing from the slots I've put them in. I first lost raw materials and passed it off, but I just recently had the crown from the King Cactus equipped on Vehrn, and unequipped it through item storage and transfered it to Mardek's inventory slot. I saved the game, and I opened my inventory to find no crown there. Re-loaded the game and still no crown, and checked the item storage for it for all characters and nothing. I hope my description here helps to point you in the right direction of addressing this potential glitch, and if any other players have encountered this problem please rate this comment up so others may see it!

This game was actually in the '10 wave of releases. This time couldn't be better. I'm glad that three year vaoprware got built up, even if the wait was kind of a nuisance.(I love vaporware and hype, so the longer the hype the better.).This is also the most detailed flash game I've ever played. The saves feature is nice, and the story and humor are ingenuous considering the platform (shareware quality for the whole game really.).

This game is a massive structure. First off, it holds so much content that it would take hours to get through the whole thing, so before you start up be ready to take some time out of your life. Next thing is how this game is graphics and structure wise. The graphics remind me of Golden Sun 3 It gives me a good feeling. The structure of it is in equal to golden sun, to the monster scene when you go into battle or when you are equipping items.

Amazing game, well worth the wait. Congratulations to Pseudo for making an absolute masterpiece that I will never forget.

Well, that was interesting. Went from getting one shot by Karnos to taking 100s per hit.
Once you have the right skills on each party member, it becomes extremely easy.
What I used; other combinations are possible, Mardek, Gloria, Elywen and Meraeador. Use Ballad of Balance and then magic shield all with Merae's golden mirror. It all goes downhill from there with Karnos hitting under 200s with the right equipment setup, he even ended up healing me with some attacks. Just watch out for shatterclaw and when he changes to fig elemental, the mass confusion and mdef- can turn out nasty. Otherwise just pummel, cast the occasional twister to drop his speed and repeat. My characters were within the upper 30s, best of luck figuring out skills and equipment needed to beat him. Its pretty obvious. :p
Thanks Pseud for making such a great game. On to Animus!

I got a save glitch where i pressed x to save my game then it overwrote my file with something that said undefined for everything except the left side that said from another chapter but it obviously wasnt. i ignored the problem then when i tried to reload it, the buzzer noise sounded and i had to reload from a much earlier save... any help?

heres a tip, and resulting request. Giving items from chest and spoils to characters that need them or have less of them if they are used by everyone directly is faster than giving it all to mardek and sorting with the split item. The proof is in the pudding. but I cant imagine why its there. Also, if there is a way to add a way to take more than 1 item from a stack at a time, then pesuedolonewofl shud add it. thums up if you agree.

This is a good game I know and I thought there was already a Mardek 3 in Kongregate before no? Well maybe it's just because Mardek 1, 2 and 3 might have the same Intro Background. For other hypocrites there saying Mardek "Sucks!", well you're wrong, developers put a lot of effort in this just to make everyone happy. But anyways, enough of my vague blabbering I give this a 5/5

Can anyone give me tips as to how to get to the trilobite in the dark temple? The walkthrough (no offense) isn't very helpful.

PowerfulGerbil, it's all part of the game. Part of the skill is being able to defeat the guardian, heal, and then move on and defeat them. It's not lame, so shut your mouth.

I've played Mardek Rpg 1 and 2 (have to get the last two hard badges!) and I just wanted to see what Mardek Rpg 3 was like. After I looked around a bit, and I didn't even TRULY start playing and I gave it another 5/5.
Keep up the good work! I've loved the storyline, awesome gameplay, (especially with the updates) monsters, characters, the secret areas/monsters so far, and I should for as long as I play this! I hope there are a lot more sequels! I just hope that it won't take too long... =P

Okay: Firstly I loved this game and it's two predecessors so thank you for your genius and hard work (I wish I was okay enough at platforming to play Raider). Secondly I have a little constructive criticism, complete with suggestions: First and foremost the dreamstones felt extremely long and slow, too much so for my taste; it would be nice if we could exit out of them and start again where we left off (or if they were just shorter or faster) secondly: given how much type can screw you over in battles it would be nice to be able to save and change between multiple equipment and/or reaction configurations.

words words words words words words words. Almost as bad as B^U. Other than that, great game, one of the best on Kong.

Absolutely amazing. It's balanced so well, isn't repetitive, isn't too much of a grind, and actually requires strategy. It's amazing that this game is free.

This is also one of the first comments I posted on Kongregate.
I've been active on this site for 2 years now and I was always looking for a game that suited me.
I love retro RPGs.
And this game is the best in it's genre!
I never played a game this long.
I saw MARDEK RPG on the homepage and I clicked on it.
I've been playing for hours.
Then I decided to play MARDEK RPG 1 & 2.
I was amazed by the storyline!
I love this game.. Please make a 4, 5, 6 or even 7 chapters.
I don't care, I'll play them all.
Good job and please.. Don't listen to the hater man.
Greetings from The Netherlands.
PEACE!

inkeeper: "my buisness is booming! that save crystal over there can heal all ailments in a flash of light, so i just did away with sleeping rooms entirely! and it's free too, so loads of people come in here all the time! wow! this is the high life for me! surely i will be a millionare soon!" Rohoph: " but it's free so you aren't actually making any money." inkeeper: "...... WHAT!'

Yeah, I'm totally a gay terrorist. OSHI- *dies*. On that note, anyone know where to get an aquamarine for the shaman's brew? I've checked the walkthrough and it says you can buy it in Aeropolis, but i can't find one. If you know, send me a shout?

I got a very strange bug in which I used rage chord on Bernard and he fell down and died after attempting an attack. However, I couldn't complete the battle because the game thought he was still alive.

This is the best web game I've ever played. Probably because it feels more like a console game - and a classic one in that matter - than a flash game. I'd like to congratulate the developer both on making a fantastic rpg and on writing some insanely fun dialogue, and on the overall effort, which for sure wasn't small.

Stupid 1000 letter limit :P. Anyway, just wanted to say I really can't wait till badges come out so I can kill another 30 some hours playing the whole thing again. And I just want to adress the haters out there, atleast finish the dark temple before you vote, if you get killed by a boss SUCK IT UP! Here is a tip if you have trouble, the bosses all require the same strategy (atleast for me) just spam null fire/air/morality block (whatever the enemy uses... shouldnt be hard to figure out) use one person to heal and 1 person for damage if you do this properly all the bosses should be easy... (theres a couple exceptions like the World's Saviours though they arn't super difficult you should be able to kill them with trial and error I managed to get them on my second try and though it was annoying to have to kill Girru twice I didnt really mind the lack of a save crystal that much it made it just difficult enough for me to go YAY i get to fight the giant fire lion again)

Honestly, I must say that this is by far the most engaging game I have played in years. Unlike most other RPGs I've played, I somehow feel moved playing this game, hunting for treasure, training to gain skills and build up warriors of legend. There is always an unexpected joke around the corner to make you smile when you least expect it, Rohoph is there to save Mardek from ruining an otherwise dramatic moment. You have built a world so deep it cannot be dismissed as a rip-off, it sets the bar higher for the genre, like the other great games that inspired it.
Thank you, Pseudo.

also, for those who are obsessed with one character taking TOO MUCH DAMAGE :D Elwyn has a song called "ballad of balance" it spreads damage across your team like butter across bread :D it's findable in secret shop( goznor, wand shop, go into the dream circle)

I have a few questions: is there a way to fight warport guards after you get the gold passport? Are there any missable skills for Legion? Rate this so that Pseudolonewolf sees this please.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The Game ist just great, as are the previous chapters. I have two suggestions though:
You should be allowed to skip the Warport altogether when you got the golden Pass and are in mapmode. I don't see the point in always having to run through there.
Secondly, i just spend over 2 hours trying to beat the saviors. Please, please, please give us a chance to save after defeating the Fire Guardian. Its really annoying having to wait for the 28000 Hitpoints of that beast to wear down only to get your ass kicked by the saviors afterwards while trying a new tactic. I'm sure that you have put some thought on that point and wanted to exalt the difficulty but from my point of view it doesn't do anything other than piss you off unnecessarily.

I do have some complaints, like how you can't go back to the main menu from the battle screen, and how the separate inventories concept, while interesting and refreshingly different than FF, makes it so much more confusing and unintuitive when you're trying to figure out who you should equip with what armors and accessories to master all the different abilities. But frankly, all the complaints I can think of are minor and petty, and any game that can keep me entertained for this many hours deserves 5 stars. And I also love how you're connecting each of these chapters to one another via save files, because it's making the series feel like a full-length, real, retail game that I would gladly spend money on. All in all, I'm very impressed. Keep up the good work, pseudo!
