Absolutely a wonderful game, I was amazed by the wit and humor in the game, from the M! on Mardek's helmet to the stereotypical bad guys. Pseudolonewolf, I have the utmost respect and admiration for you as you sir, are the wittiest and boldest flash game RPG creator I have ever seen. Lastly, I find it very laughable that some people would see this as a "Final Fantasy Ripoff", this is the only RPG I've played that made me laugh every time I talk to someone or a sign!

Go to the travel services, on the line 3, there are a lot of same guys seated between the two "rounds" of guys that question you if you are a terrorist, thalk with them, one of them is retarded

Please help me: in the tutorial it says that all items for the breathing in water thing but 1 were in that big city, well i have searched in all of them and ive found Everitying BUT th aquamarine...
I have been for HOURS searching that thing... and if i dont find it ill jump from my window, and i live in a 4th level...

get all the dream stones. it tells a story. emela is obviously the water temple guardian under the lake. well if you go under the lake it shows that the creatures from morics ship are still in tact. examine it it says something like "if they are still in tact does that mean?!" well thats hinting deugan could be alive. hints don't mean nothing, unless you have the dream stones. it shows a conversation of emela "the lake guardian" and deugan about how they saved the world, and about how deugan was jealous at first of mardek having roholph and how deugan was falling to his death but was suprised to be alive when he hit water and how it was "cold"- hinting water. main reason i think its deugans voice is "In many ways I'm glad I "sacrificed myself" and didn't come back to be a knight, he has his work set out for him and I honestly don't think I could do it."
anyways point being, I'm 100 percent sure that emela saved deugan. and emela is the water temple guardian.

I just wanna say, I have waited SO LONG for this game! The revamped I and II were awesome, well worth replaying and I can't wait for the one after this, too. Awesome work man. It's like Zelda came back and got drunk with Final Fantasy and made a love baby. Except the lovebaby had extra shots of epic. yeah..

Pixie dust drops off pixies in the dream world (semi-rare spawn) (get Gloria from Canoria, head north one area to learn dreamwalking). Don't know about serpent crest, but I figure it drops off some kind of lizard - haven't found those mobs yet.

can anyone help me get out of sandflow cave and back to xantusia because i am really lost and i can't seem to get out... i have unlocked the dark temple but i found out i had a gizmo i had to give to a guy in the town and i need to get back there. can any1 please help me?

This games reminds me of the good old days. Back when Final Fantasy and Zelda were 8-bit. This game of course is not 8-bit. The gameplay is good the story makes me want the next now and even though the graphics aren't Xbox 360 they bring back the memories of when it was about the game not the graphics. For all those that say this is a rip off of Final Fantasy...You lie!! This game is not even close to Final Fantasy. Both have different story lines the battle systems are completely different and this is not 8-bit!!!! So shut up. To the developer. Good job. Keep up the good work. You have great potential. Don't disappoint you fans. 5/5

I wish I could give this game more than a 5/5. Not in the same league as other flash games. Basically should be compared to full stand-alone indie games. Good job Pseudo.

I just saw where Pseudo wrote "Not as high rating as he hoped" after looking through old comments. I've no idea how high it was when he wrote it, but right now it is the highest rated of the month (which shouldn't surprise anyone). Even the walkthrough is on top 5 of the week! Don't let him down, and let us vote Mardek 3 for the best game of the month!

Glad to be playing chapter 3... was looking forward to it for some time.
Note to the developer: Pseudo, only pay attention to the criticism (positive and negative) of those who understand the game for what it is. Haters, and all their ilk, can be safely ignored. Their silly arguments are no different than saying hockey, soccer and basketball suck because they're all sports and all the teams do is go back and forth trying to score. Generalizations always fail.

With the small errors aside, this is a fabulous game well deserving of console play. Would definitely be a rated R and possibly burned due to content because of all the laws these days but I for one would buy a copy for any portable system. Like the DS/PSP.
Recently started the crystal quest, and just have to say, wow. The detail behind everything is spectacular. Spent a few hours just wandering around talking to NPCs and visiting old maps just to see whats new. Am amazed at the depth for a flash game, thats for sure.

About the pixies in dreamworld, PLEASE.....make them cast confuse less often. Running into one is pretty much instant death for the party unless there is a anti-confuse skill equipped. Not the case for the first dreamworld above carononia. Also, the game seems to glitch sometimes making monsters impossible to hit with melee. Case in point of pixies, confused people only using melee attacks vs a monster that for some reason evades all melee attacks = fail. Amusing to watch self clubbing, but ultimately a wasted half hour. Had the melee glitch with several monsters, it occurs when the monsters hp drops below a certain level, generally around 50%-75% point. That is, if this is a glitch.

Its great news that Pseudo is currently (as in when this comment was written) in 1st place on the monthly highest rating leader board. At the start of the year he had a "To-do list" and on it was earn £1,000 purely off games, the way he's going it looks like it's going to happen!

The "Mystery Man" is Steele from the chapter 2, in the walktrough it says: "The Mystery Man have sesibility to lighting bolts for some unknown reason", Steele has not been "Killed" by Emela by a lighting bolt? and i think that the "Dream Stones", at least some of them are (maybe is alive, or are things of another person) the last breaths of Deugan after escaping the Moric's ship in chapter 2, i think.

re crazygamer7777 - "This game is cool but when did knights have any type of magic". So you think magic existed in the real world... whatever anyway. Fantastic game and I wholeheartedly agree with Matrigan's essay, can't really say anything that differs about that game. I dont really care for story that much, regardless its pretty damn close to Dragon Age quality. Also thanks for the bottle bombs like the Fridge Water, they help alot which is where I think alot of players are failing as they aren't making use them.

Psuedo, a good thing for the walkthrough, a trick for the griffin is to use null air on HIM just before he tries to use haste, then he will try to keep using haste over and over again, so you spam null air =D

the griffin is wayyy too powerful, TWO thunderstorms one after the other thanks to haste?? it killed off both my fire mage the mardek... anyways 5/5 great game pseudo!!!

Easiest way to beat molestors: Have Mardek wear the solak plate armor you get as a reward for the first quest. Use it to cast morality block. Mardek's light attacks will tear it apart.

Very well done Pseudo! I love the Mardek series. Analytically, the storyline is well thought out. I've been to your sight multiple times... I have read many of your blog posts and your personality comes out of the characters. That gives it all the more power. I think everyone that plays this game should go to www.fighuntergames.com and look all the posts dedicated to this game. It shows how much time he spent on making these game (namely 3 though). It takes a lot of dedication, I've made a few games and it is no small task. Congratulations on the series thus far. 5/5!
