What the hell! ALL my saves are gone after running AVG's PC Tune-up utility. This is exactly what I hate the most about flash games...

Caution to people who want an impossible badge! Once you defeat the King , you don't have any chance to go anywhere else ( except the event to fight the zombie D: ) So when you want to see an ending first , please make 2 save files or do not save when chapter ends.

1 Gameplay: Turn-Based rpg's are my favorite and this is one of the few (if not the only) game that has an reaction command
2 Music: All the music on this game is awsome (and what makes it more awsome is that YOU composed the music not some game ripped off music or music that someone else created)
3 Characters: Besides each character having its own type, it has his own personality
4 Originality: The game isn't (At least not directly :P) an rip off of a game many flash games are ''Super mario rpg'' or ''A final fantasy flash'' and so on; another remarkably thing is the reaction commands and how each equipment gives an ablility, so you have to balance your character carefully so you aren´t defeated by some blood lizards in two turns (that happened to me actually lol) also you can't change to a new equipment if you haven´t mastered the abilities of the one you have
I would give this game an 1'000.000/5 (Sadly you can only give an 5/5 so thats what i did)

@spamtrap Actually Pseudo will work on such a project and it's called ''Fig Hunter Online'' unfortunately it's going to be released after Mardek 4 is done(which is probably going to be released in 2013-2014). :(

Can't wait for more pseudo games :) great work and I like the fact that although you dont have to play the first 2 chapters, it has its benefits.

One thing that really impresses me is the attention to detail in all aspects of the game. However, there is one aspect that I am truly impressed about and that is the character icons in battle and with speaking. I was rather taken back when I noticed that the developer has taken the time to make the characters profile pictures blink. Yeah, it may be quite small detail to some, but it is something that I really like; adds a certain degree more of realism to the game. Easily 100/5 stars.

Great game, I hope part IV is coming soon.
Or even better: a scenario/level/campaign editor. And then a site where all the user made games can be uploaded and rated ... I am dreaming...

Pseudolonewolf: great game.
Here's one change that i would LOVE: an option in ItemStorage to swap out one character's inventory with another character's inventory. For YALORT's sake, i get tired of switching out 10+ unique potions and 15+ unique equipment from one character to another when I switch out party members... :(

Love the warp stone description: "A type of magical stone that can somehow allow a person to travel as if casting the Warp spell. You can't use it, though. Why? Because. Shut up.

For the most part it's a great game. I enjoyed Chapter 2 better, though. I regret to say I couldn't bring myself to finish this one. Once the golden wolf came along and joined the party, I was a little disheartened 'cause I figured his light magic would come in pretty handy later on, so it was necessary to jettison one of the other party members I had worked so hard on, building up their abilities. Then, that chick from the town next to the lake became a party member, and her skills clearly are a big asset. I thought hard about jettisoning another party member, and starting all over with the abilities, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. It is too tedious. The worst part about RPGs is the grinding, and you amplified that in this game two fold by keeping all the best party members off the team 'til later, and then having them all start from scratch. I really wanted to finish the game, 'cause it looked fun, but the excessive grinding just took all the fun out of it for me.

I loathe fetch quests, in all manners. But the one line, "What's a food?" made it so very worth doing and made me actually want to finish it, rather than feeling obliged to do so.
I love your humor Pseduo.

Most of the characters are pretty good even. There's only about 3 characters that weren't fun to use.
The variety of items, equipment and their skills is also great. And being able to master the items' skills is quite a unique and interesting concept.
The music is amazing, even more considering you did it all yourself. Felt like playing a real classic videogame!
All the secret dungeons, superbosses and all are also quite nice to go through, and pretty challenging. Took me a few tries to defeat Karnos and Animus, even with the 'good' strategies and all. The solo arenas were also pretty challenging at times - Without actually leveling the characters, it can be pretty painful to successfully complete them.
Overall, Chapter 3 was a great game, and I enjoyed every single minute and challenge. It was well worth the ~50 hours I spent in this game. Hell, I would have spent even more! I'm looking forward for Chp4, aswell as Pseudolonewolf's other games. 5/5!

Only got to finish Chp3 recently, and I must say I am impressed.
I have always been a big fan of the Mardek series, even though I only got to play Chp3 now.
But I played through the whole game now. I am amazed - Even though it took two years to finish this game and all, the amount of content it haves is amazing, considering Pseudo did everything completely by himself. It haves more content/gameplay time than several console/professional games.
I love MARDEK's storyline and dialogue - Although it seems like just a bunch of random RPG parodying and some jokes, there's quite a storyline hidden behind all that. The dreamstones, libraries, encyclopedias and all make it even more interesting.
The gameplay is also great. It feels just as good, if not even better, as any console RPG. Reaction skills and passive skills, along with mastering of skills allows for quite a wide variety of strategies and combinations. Plus, having what, 11 characters in total, gives even more variety.

I seriously do not see how this is not the highest rated game on kongregate! It is complete, fun, funny, and a good story. Its only bad bit is the graphics, but I like them too! 5/5 and my favorite favorite!

I like in the caverns if you read one of the bookshelves what I believe to be a FF7 and FF8 reference. The weapon/armor shop.

i have a suggestion that would make this game alot more 'easy' especially in the cambria arena
its to have the ability to switch equips in battle at the cost of one turn

In the caves after the sun temple, I really don't think its fair if you fight 3 Happy Johnnys and they all use 1000 needles.
