Love it :^), IMO one of the best RPGs there is together with Chrono Trigger. But why is it 5th on the list? This is the real deal.

one minor nitpick:the warports.I just think that if you have a gold warport pass,you should be able to bypass the stations.it just feels a little annoying,but sorry for the nitpick.

I think the game is not in first because of the people that only plays two seconds and rate one because they wanted a GTA:MEdieval

This rpg is most likely the best flash rpg I've ever played. Even on console, there's only two rpgs that beat this... The graphics bring back memories of the old Final Fantasy series, the combat system is extremely unique. Many actual combat situations actually require some semblance of strategy, which is a rare find these days in rpgs, and several battles have actually challenged me, which I can't say many other games have. The storyline and hidden dungeons actually rival the best Final Fantasies. The humor within the storyline is excellent, and has made me laugh on more than one occasion. All that said, I've logged nearly thirty hours on this, and I haven't even gotten to the Monastery in Lifewood yet. All in all, this game is an excellent, and rare find. Psuedolonewolf, you have my gratitude for making such an awesome game.

sorry for doublepost, @lslinme, enable hiddden folders (google how) then use the search feature and look for a file called MARDEKv3__sg_(number).sol then copy it the folder appdata > roaming > macromedia > flash player > #SharedObjects > (random capped letters) > chat.kongregate.com, appdata may be inside the users > (username) folder in HARD DRIVE, NOT IN "MY DOCUMENTS"

So I guess that getting a new computer and throwing the old one away is enough for me to lose all my saved data for the fourth chapter, all the hours I spent gaining that impossible badge and getting the rarest and hidden items in the frickin game, along with the data from chapter 2 and 1 so I have to replay all three chapters if I want to get badges for the fourth chapter..? No way.

People do not go to the warp zone and talk to the secuirity gard unless you want to see the game over screen faster than you can say OMG WHAT THE (PROFANITY) IS DEAD?!!

A nice feature to have would be to be able to load your save from fighunter.com to kongregate because i found it irritating that the game has badges and all and ive already played through a part on fighunter. But that is just a minor inconvinience.

I hope in the next installment pseudolonewolf lets us go back to places we may have missed (i forgot to kill the zombie dragon and a few other monsters in chapter 2) so we can get all the medals and chests.

A long but easy guide for beating Master Stone is to get a few ethers and potions (I only needed an ether and 2 manaberries) and 3 or 4 mirrilixirs (I found them all in chests, but you can always craft them with Gloria). Elwyen and Gloria are required, but the fourth character could be anyone (or nobody at all). Have Elwyen use Dolorous Dirge and have the others put mirrilixirs on everyone. After that, have Gloria (and Mardek, when needed) heal. You can throw in some magic attacks every now and then but physical attacks are generally pretty useless.

@lordbrain It's ok there's no need to get the sun axe. it teaches Sslen'ck DMG+20% and he'll learn that from Iron axe anyway

This has bugged me all game.
Where did the Dark Crystal guardian go? Did *cough* 'mystery' man kill it? or Solaar?
And for that matter is there an Air guardian?

@nipplesbutt: I don't think so, Moric's circle is red, Dreamcircles are green. Althought this couldn't mean no difference.

I think that perhaps the reason the Goznor Sewer is blocked off is for Dreamcircle stuff. If you are observant than you may have noticed that where you fight Moric the first time there is a bigger version of the Dreamcircle entrances. This may or may not allow you to go into Social Fox's Tomb and the Catacombs in Dreamworld. If I way off on what was planned I hope Pseudolonewolf sees this and takes it into consideration.

My opinions of the advantages of mardek 3 and epic battle fantasy 3: The story line is much more detailed in Mardek 3, EBF3 has combo attacks, Mardek 3 has much longer gameplay, EBF3 has slightly better combat graphics, Mardek 3 has lots of humour, Mardek 3 requires more detailed strategy. I like mardek more than EBF3, even though i have played both games and am really close to the end in both games. There are some extra things i would like to see in chapter 4. 1: multiple-hit attacks. Unfortunately this could ruin the "retro theme" that this game thrives on so im not really big on this one. 2: The ability to see maps other than the one of your current area. I don't want to have to memorize which door takes me where. 3: 5 character slots. I just think the V-formation during battle needs to be complete.

Is there a reward 4 killing the security demon? if so then that sucks because there is no way to cancel the golden warp pass
