I can't think of a word to describe how amazing this game is, so I must invent one. How about... suplosity! No, thats stupid. Umm... Inclederous! No... Winnabego! No... Anyway, this game is awesome. And I strongly believe that the creatures that formed the Violet Crystal were Happy Johnny and Pixies. THE DAMN PIXIES!

@Noxaa I suggest u play through at least once before taking them on so that u don't get wasted in one thunderstorm

To all of those who are playing this game without playing the other 2 chapters first, I strongly recommend going back and playing through them. You can get Mardek to a much better level to start with, get WAY better gear (if you complete the Arena in Chapter 2 for instance, you get the Champion Sword. very good light elemental sword), and certain NPC's (like Gope the bandit for ex.) will become useful later on. It will ultimately make the whole series easier to play through and you will have a better understanding of whats happening in the game

While in the sun temple, the room where you first fight the lizardmen, My map is strange. streakes of blackness, even on explored areas, but I also can see some unexplored area. plus if anyone else is experiencing this glitch.

Gotta say it again: Youre probably the best flash game creator out there, Pseudo. It's simply amazing what you put into existance as one-man-show. I love your games, which seem more detailed than some stuff made by crews of dozens of people. Keep it up (even though youll never read this)!

Really good game. It has great music, an interesting plot, and hilarious characters. On my second time playing through the series, and I'm not tired of it yet. As for all those haters... everyone's entitled to their own opinion and I'm respecting that. No one is denying that this is inspired by Final Fantasy. But there's nothing wrong with that. If every game had to be completely original, where would we be? Anyway, the bottom line is, no one is making you play this. IT'S FREE. You don't have to play it if you don't want to. So don't leave hateful comments all over the comments board, please.
Just 2 suggestions - one, it would be nice to have a way to transfer entire inventories from person to person (it gets tedious moving every item). Also, it might be easier and faster if the menu was entirely mouse-controlled... it seems like a lot of people can't figure it out.
All in all, good game. Great job Pseudolonewolf! 8D

When I started playing these series last week, I started with Chapter Three. To put it mildly, it was a rocky start and continuing was even rockier. I had most everything completed, except for everyone's solo arena challenge, and I went to fight the first superboss. I got ripped a new one, mainly because my guys were mid 30s. Eventually, you find yourself grinding hard either to gain levels, learn skills, active, reactive, or passive, or to get certain loot items to make Legion's best gear. This past Friday, I said frak it, and started with Chapter one. Now I know more about the storyline, and I carried over some essential equipment. Needless to say, I'll be able to probably do much better this time around. Champ Sword ftw!!!

Really great game! Gotta hand it to the maker, just keeps making this game better and more detailed. Also, the hilarious comments gave me more of a reason to talk to everyone haha. The only problem I noted was the enemies in sand cave where the Lizard Men are. Phoenix Downs are still pricey that early on in the game, and the AntLions and the fight with 3 cactuars is kind of unfair. maybe put harder enemies like that further into the game? still 5/5

Yes, this is an amazing game, of course, and Pseudolonewolf deserves some Nobel prize for making this, but as not just a rpg loonatic, but also a musician, I have to give some credits to the fantastic music here. The music is absolutely bad ass, and lots of fun twists here and there. I love it! <3

the enemies in the miasmal citadel seem kinda low level considering the strength of the boss, they really should be in the high 30s and low 40s, very good game none the less

Guys! Head to the gem mine with 4 oxyale and go to the place where you fought Muriance. To the right there's a doorway which you should go through and then you end up with a lake. Go in the lake! :D

LAWL passed earth mage's arena but since her items was full she didn't get the reward... Phew! Thank god I wasn't planning on using her for the final boss! XD

If you say this game is a rip-off, then you are saying the same thing about Final Fantasy. This game can only be a ripoff of itself. Unique leveling, loot, battle, and stat systems.

Brilliant, beautiful game, it's obvious how much work you put in to this, and it paid off. This is one of the best flash games I've ever played, and just a great game all around. It incorporated parts of all my favorite RPGs of old, FF1, FF7, Earthbound, ChronoTrigger. Graphics are great, music is wonderful, game design is impeccable, I keep being amazed and how much is packed into this. Anyone who is hating on this game is idiotic, yes, obviously it draws from other RPGs, that's what makes it great, it's original story, original characters, on and on. If all you did was made a straight copy of final fantasy on to flash, it would still be an awesome achievement. I hope you have plans to make chapter 4, this is the only game on Kongregate that I've considered donating money for; your hard work deserves to be rewarded. Thanks again for the effort, bottom line, I had a really fun time playing this game - that's all that matters to me.
