good game, excellent plot and well developed characters. however, i feel that some dialogues are way too long and i do want to read them as they are funny, but some players like me have little patience (lol) and some dialogues, for example rudolph are hard to read due to the fonts. 5/5

I've been waiting for this game to come out for AGES! It's really been worth it and I'm up to WARNING, SPOILER AHEAD!!! Fighting the king. Thank you Pseudolonewolf for this really cool game (I especially like all the innuendo with Elwyen.) However, I wonder, how can you follow this up?

This, and the series thus far, is exactly what a flash game can and should be. A true classic in my mind. It succeeds at every ambition it undertakes. The attention to detail and underlying elements is head and shoulders above every other flash game I've ever played. I admire the creative talent being put to work here. The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is why this is playable for free, but I am not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. I look forward to future releases with great eagerness. 5/5.

Oh yeah! I got the Impossible Badge just now. :D. If you are unaware of how to get the "Solo Arenas completed." part, talk to the Trilobite one more time and you get a special item as proof of your victory.

First off... PSEUDO... Im in love with th Mardek saga, and Im a true fan LOLz... I love the random shotty bursts of comedy... LOLz, but thers 1 thing that gets me... I know this is a more challenging aspect of the game but something about the numbers in this game just seem a little... off. meaning for example like right now im fighting against the fire guardian, his life i think has about lik 24000 or something lik tht... my ting iss.. hes on a CLEARLY higher level and has too much of an advantage over the team... I managed to beat him like twice LOLz buhh i lost to the "Adventurers" LOLz... anyway what Im trying to say is... the enemies (mostly the bosses) have too much of an advantage over Mardek and his team... :-(

Is healing SUPPOSED to be reduced by Magic Shields? I have encountered this rather annoying problem throughout all three chapters.

kind of off topic but whenever im playing and glance at the description to see 'An Homage...' instead of 'A Homage....' it makes me laugh :)

Great game i like the second one aswell. Gameplay was awesome though i think it would be a bit better if the characters you don't use got a share of the exp as i found i didn't change my party around as much as i would've done . Ignore the people moaning about how bits are like final fantasy it doesn't matter what it resembles as long as the gameplays good which this clearly is. Can't wait for the next one.

I have found out that if somebody with vampirism ability (give by Blood Opal) attacks an enemy while Elwyen`s Ballad of Balance is active, it recovers health to the whole party!

I was just looking over the games, and I can't believe that this is not #1 in at least the strategy/rpg category! I mean, I understand this is not everyone's cup of tea for everything else, but it should AT LEAST be in the top five there!!!

This is a FANTASTIC game. Loved all of the references to retro RPGs (and a certain piano theme at the very end in particular :)). It has a ton of depth, with all of the sidequests for the impossible badge it was ~50 hours for me. The superbosses were awesome too, Animus was a beast! Don't listen to the haters, and keep up the awesome work!! 6/5

Congratulations! You just won the Psychosomatic Exhaustion Badge and 60 points!
After about 45 hours of gameplay hahaha... But enjoyed every minute of it. BEST GAME EVER.

Loving this game. I like how some stuff refers to other books, eg the depressed legion is called martin, and the cute little bandit who find his way everywhere uses the phrase 'pretend-like'. If you don't know what I'm referring to, read "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" and "The Redempion of Althalus"

Now, there`s a good thing to say about music. It is quite heart-touching, and you even composed it yourself!
Try listening to world map music (or Lake Qur, it`s the same) and relaxing. I guarantee you will shed a tear.

I thought that Johnny was named after what people call foreigners who know nothing about where they are apart from sterotypes...

There is a person in Aeropolis who is named Johnny Foreigner, am i right in assuming that he is named after the band? Also, a very very very good game, some very funny bits. =3 5/5

The Mardek series is a masterpiece. You have done an amazing job! I played chapter one awhile back and thought it was pretty good. I finished it in about an hour or so. Then I played chapter 2. Wow. I was blown away by the sheer depth of the game. The dungeon sizes were great. Awesome battle system, and the menu system alone took a lot of programming skill. The haters here don't get what you are doing. Mardek is a wonderful homage to the 16 bit era RPGs. Some of the character's lines are classic. And, "Blatantly Evil Chancelor"... Brilliant. I would have bought Mardek if it came out on the SNES. I am playing through chapter three now and it is awesome, as expected. I look forward to finishing chapter 3 and look forward to the next chapters. Fantastic job!

Now, i believe that the wave of lovers was big enough, and to restore the balance, i shall now rant.
Humour. I am afaid you are starting to overdo humour. Warport employees threatening to shove your golden pass into your arse and the "spoiler prophet" in Canonia are not really funny. I have indeed read through description, but do not make it absurd, ok?
Monster encounters. I guess the people whining about scarce encounters have beat you up to it, since there was 1-2 encounter in Chapter 2. Now there can be up to 3-7 encounters per location and because of that it took 30 hours to complete. (excluding roaming around Lifewood to find temple and monastery, and, btw, finding NOTHING, and simply pointlessly roaming round the world searching for dreamstones, locations, water staff, not succeeding until i arse yourself to read a bit more of walkthrough). If you are unable to get the "golden middle", then better make it as it was in chapter 2, before update.

I have to say that this game and the previous chapter all have hilarious dialogue for me. the comments that characters fire at themselves and the situation to lampoon their actions is awesome.

Absolutely wonderful. I'll let the game speak for itself. An interesting twist with the reaction things, though the last Turn-based game I played was the thing I perfer to block out of my memory. Forever.

wow, i was so disappointed when i realized that the volcano wasn't part of the fire temple and that there was still the entire temple to do...

Amazing game! I'm a huge fan of the old Final Fantasies and this game brings back a lot of memories. I can't give this game a high enough rating. It's obvious that A LOT of time went into this.
On a sidenote, I've beaten Karnos but have not received the checkbox in the Impossible badge. Any help?
