YES! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! I can't thank you enough. I'm not reading the rest of the comments, because if there are as many negative ones as I've come to believe, I'm not reading them. I don't care, even. There's no point to them. I've played the other games in the series, and I have to say they are among my favorites. The game play is fun, the story is brilliant, and some of the things that are said in game make it so I can't stop laughing for a good five minutes or so. "You're talking to me. Super!" I have been waiting for the new one for a long time, and I am SO very glad that the next chapter is out. I haven't even started playing it yet, and I know it's going to be epic.

Kinda wish there was a key for the map, maybe there is and i just havent found it, but i think it would help a lil bit, still a amazing game, just like the 1st and 2nd. Classic graphics, and awesome story :D great job psuedo

From my experiance playing the last 2 Mardek games this one's going to be great. though I've encountered a bug on the laptop I use that causes any key I press (when I play most flash games) to contunue going going till I press it again (multiple time sometimes) making navigating the game somewhat difficult. But I'll try to endure the frustration and play the game through. I consider this series a 10/10.

Not very entertaining to me personally because I've been spoiled by 3D rpgs, but I give this gave an A+ WITH EXTRA CREDIT nonetheless because it's a first-class throwback to the good ol' days of RPGin'.

Amazing, well written and just wonderful game, I just finished it after hours and hours of fun :D I recommend everyone give this game a try, whether or not your a fan of rpg's.
I won't ruin the ending for anyone but I actually felt bad for such and such. If a flash game can evoke emotion from me then by all means it is above and beyond the regular game.
Continue to make magnificent games Pseudolonewolf! I can not wait until chapter 4. Until then, I guess I will just have to wait patiently.

Hello Pseudolonewolf. Your game rocks! The interface is cool, the genre (something that some idiots around here don't understand) rocks and the story rocks! Don't let yourself be let down by some envy-fuelled cyberbullying. As a fellow developer, it is safe to say that I know how much hard work you put into this project. These morons don't, so don't listen to them. Keep up the good work!

Pseudolonewolf is really good for being able to make a game like this i mean even if it would be a ripoff from final fantasy its still good as it is i mean i dont even care if it is Ripoff from Final Fantasy cause Final Fantasy was really good and he is just trying to show that Final Fantasy is awesome (also this game :D) so you people should just shut the hell up if your gonna say this game sucks or if its a ripoff. Thumbs up everyone?

Main differences: Mardek has no ATB gauge, which is exclusive to Final Fantasy. Legend of Zelda has no reactions. Kingdom Hearts (2) is not turn-based. All RPGs seem like each other on the exterior, but, like hybrid cars, they're all different on the inside. So stop just calling it bad, without even playing it, and during a fit of anger at losing to a boss (I lost unfairly to Moric, do you see me hating Pseudolonwolf for that, no you don't) so stop. I mean it. Stop. (stare of 1,000 banshees time!)

stop calling this a rip off of other games. i honestly dont like final fantasy at all, but Ive loved the first 2 chapters of mardek and after i play this im sure ill love this one also. give it a try before ur gonna go and be a critic about it cus its a great game and Pseudolonewolf is a great and orginal developer.

Those of you knocking Psuedo's work, do you realize how many of the games you play are "knock-offs" of another game. Call of Duty, Unreal, Quake, CS, Rainbow Six, among many others...all "knock offs of each other, a shooter is a shooter. Similarly an RPG, is an RPG, wether its Final Fantasy, Zelda, or Mardek... they are all of the same genre and what makes them unique is the artwork, the music, the storylines backing them. There is no possible way to create a brand new genre of game that is in no way like any other game. You people are so ignorant, you realize Psuedolonewolf has been working on this game for years, let me repeat that, FOR YEARS!!, and you go and disrespect everything he has done to entertain your minds for maybe 100 hours of gameplay assuming you collect everything, not to mention for a lot less money than you think. These developers put all their time and hearts into their games, try and show some respect.

This reminds me a lot about an old PS1 game called The Legend of the Dragoon...Wish I still had it... I just can't give anything else except 5/5 to this awesome sequel of the Mardek.

The only way to beat Pixies in this game (so far for me) is to toss Potted Cactus' dropped by Happy Johnny's. It's best if you carry at least 4 or more if you want to beat that Pixie in a chest.

How do you get pixie dust? Doenst say in the walkthrough and can't find it in Aeropolis???? Its for the shaman's brew...

@Binnister: To reach that npc, you have to use a secret passage. The map is disabled in that area and they're hard to see, so you may have to search for a while. If you need a hint you can try checking the game's walkthrough.
