On top of the basic awesomeness that is this game I've got to commend Pseudolonewolf for his commitment to quality and polish. The combat system is an excellent combination of nostalgic and fresh, and--unlike most actual Final Fantasy games--the battles involve real strategy. Even more than that is the incredible commitment to continuity across a game series that now spans three (four?) years. In an industry full of half-assery and derelict Chapter 1's this game is staggering. Finish this beast and you'll have a true epic on your hands. Can't wait for the next chapter!

I beat the game without making a duplicate save, so i couldn't go back to beat the arena/super monsters, and then i decided to start a new game to do it, and what do i do? I save over my clear data by accident. FML

the game is very popular and cool because it has all that small and good chosen systems like the fighting one,but the most is that you don't have too many loght colours, you have relaxing colours, good for long games...5/5

I love this game. I gained a lot of levels without feeling like I was just dinking around raising levels. I love the humor in it, a lot of the books and conversation are just funny.

pseudonewolf, i love this game and you 're a genius. what you could add though in the future is items that repel wild monsters

Hopefully, the next chapter will be out before I'm in college.
Otherwise: a good game. plenty of hidden areas and hidden godly equipment. I like the plot (and the interconnectedness between all the different characters). The medals and dreamstones were a nice extra section to the game. My one complaint is the lack of direction in the game. Without reading the walkthrough, I would never have found Legion/Mereador. Perhaps in the next chapter you could have the random people walking around cities give you hints depending on where you are in the chapter?

WHOA JESUS! Just got back from the sun temple to talk to our 'king' and afterwards, I found Jacques who then said that I need some medals for awesomeness...I therefore was bombarded with 8 medals involving Playing the last Chapters, gettings kills and other general statistics. I REALLY wasnt expecting this. But hey, french guys are so fail and all my medals are shiney!! Ps. Congratulations and thank you Pseudoalonedog, for all the shits and giggles I've recieved and will have to put up with for the rest of this chapter.

How am I supposed to beat a stupid pixie in the single arena if it's near impossible to go before it and it's STUPID cheap confuse spell never fails?!

I love this game.
And the fact that people are complaining because they think it's a "Final Fantasy Rip-off" are a bit touched in the head. Sure it seems the same but that's only because it is an RPG what can you expect. I'm stoked that it's like final fantasy because final fantasy hasn't had a decent game since FFX and the games have progressively gotten worse (12 wasn't too bad). Playing this game has given me faith in the RPG gaming world.
Distancing itself from the games which only focus on graphics and completely ignore story depth, plot, humor in this case (subtle but very good) and in the case of FFXIII to option to stay somewhere and train before you get to the 2nd world.
Thank you for making one of the best RPG's (in my opinion) in years.

although it is eye-straining and often difficult to see, the terrain tile, that is where you walk, is ever-so-slightly different than those around it if there is a secret passage, ths makes places like the astral tunel alot easier + if you agree

I've noticed that some of my items have disappeared mysteriously. At first it was 2 of Elwyen's Ballads, which I did not care about due to I already mastered them. But then just now I lost Mardek's fish sword. I know I did not sell it because I keep almost all of the items I acquire.

Has anybody noticed that the mystery man looks like steele from ch. 2 and the water guardian is emela behind the veil??
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i have to laugh when, even though the two "Mystery characters"(yes, i know who they are) are revealing secrets, they are STILL hiding some XD

this is a great game and the reactions are cool but need to diffret than the same thing (kind like paper mario 1 and 2 (3 sucks) ) but still it is a graet game 10/10 for a flash game and 8/10 for normal

MARDEK is obviously keeping his guard up for sudden enemies so he doesnt realise the water guardian and the mystery man

since i started this game i have felt it is one of the best games ever put on kong. but i have to say that the super boss kronos was nothing compared to what people siad he was i beat him in one go and only used like five phonix downs. still 5/5.

I am quite happy that you have a chance of winning some money from this, Mr Pseudolonewolf.
That being said, I can't actually play half the games on Kong, this being one of them

great job psudeo i love your games! i like final fantasy and sorry to say...those of you hating get over it. just because 1 game used an idea dosnt mean it isnt rehashable.

This is no mere flash game. The first two chapters by themselves transcended that level. Pseudolonewolf, you are creating something on a different level. The interesting mix of space aliens and medieval knights, the unique skill mastering system, a rarely-seen story depth, and your rampant sense of humor (I'm actually four blokes) all come together to form a game of a greater caliber than some "real" RPGs. Brilliant. That said, I think Sonny would be an awesome secret character. Next chapter, maybe?

@Pseudolonewolf
First thing to say I envy you. To be able to make a game so popular. And, not only that, also not overrated like many games these days. I truthly admire your work and how it can give many hours of fun. I anxiously wait for the next steps for the series and hope that you can be recognized as a top game maker.
P.s: Sorry for typos (brazillian dude)

@RAWRT This game doesn't suck, it totally rock! You're complaining 'bout the graphics and controls? Then, go make one that is BETTER than this one if you can... -_-
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Loved this game and would have to say its my favorite flash game. Can't wait for the next chapter. Keep up the good work Pseudolonewolf!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
didnt make it past the intro cheap write off of zelda youd think that on a computer game the graphics and controlls would atleast be better 0/5 wait better make that 1/5 so ppl dont complain about me not giving the creaters enough credit for taking the time to make this piece of shit

You can attack yourself when targeting. if you absorb an element that is also your weapon's element, you can heal yourself that way
