I can't believe how stupid I am. I do an entire playthrough just so I could get the last badge, then I decide to do the final boss for kicks before I get to the superbosses, and then I overwrite my save in the astral tunnel.

My strategy to beat Animus:Have mereador,legion,golria and mardek in your party.Equip mereador in order that he absorbs aether and all the others with at least 20% aether resistance. Equip legion with cardriathope and keep using gemplosion of fig element on animus. Use speedy juices to give everybody haste status and use gloria´s null air to protect from delay buster.Use mardek and gloria to heal and mereador to repair legion to increase the stats. Since Animus will be using delay buster almost every turn and all your party will survive the soulstorm becaude of the aether resistance it´s just a matter of time until Animus is dead.

I kinda get the feeling he made the water temple an intentionally arduous puzzle in homage to the infamous water temples from Legend of Zelda. :P

I just can't believe how expansive and intricate this game is! It's on par with a game I'd actually have to go out and BUY in order to play. I'm so lucky that this kind of game is actually FREE to play. There's just so much to do, I'm using walkthroughs constantly so I don't miss anything good!

This is truly one of the best free online flash games out there. I mean, it's astounding that it's all made by one guy and it's all for free. Truly a masterpiece that provides endless hours of entertaining gameplay.

This is the one of the best, most epic Flash games I have ever played. I love how, instead of most RPG's, at the start of each chapter you have the same data as the last. Usually, there's no explanation as to how the character seem to go down a lot of levels, but here, there's no explanation needed. If you have trouble with the Saviours, then give Mardek a bunch of dark resistance armour and skills so he has 200% absorb to Dark. Then PHYSICALLY attack Bernard with Mardek, Bernard will use 'Heh', heal Mardek and knock himself out - then just use Fairy Dust. 500/5.

Sticky/unresponsive keys are not just an internet explorer thing. I'm using the newest FireFox and newest Flash, and very frequently the keyboard keys will either stick, or become unresponsive for a few seconds. This is happening so much that it makes the game unbearable to play. I play games like this all the time, on this machine, without complications. This problem is not on my end. Your game is causing it, and quite frankly I'm sick of Devs using the IE excuse for this problem.

a hint for the Saviours: have gloria in your party use whirpool on aalia and bernard(to lower spirit) after that use wildfire on bartholio(to lower attack) and wildfire on vennie(for big damage) and take them down in this order: Aalia,Bernard,Bartholio,Vennie

Actually, I found Karnos pretty easy. I had Mardek and Gloria on null duty, Solaar on healing, and Sslen'ck on beating the tar out of it whenever possible. The others obviously took potshots whenever possible. The only thing you need to worry about is if it changes to Fig at which point you just attack, to force a reactionary change of element and focus on defences again afterwards. Now Animus on the other hand...that one is a nightmare even with high aether resistance...Good luck when you get to it.

Nevermind my last comment, i already got the 4 items for my group. The impossible bosses are indeed impossible. Hooolyyyy shit they hit hard.

@Grigori Federov thanks xd i actually beated the arena with the scarab and already completed the solo for mardek, legion and sslenck. I still struggle with Gloria at the 8th round i think, when that guy summons the 4 spirits. That's an insta-kill. My goal now is the superboss karnos. And the 3 before mentioned is my actual team.

@gamelover The Serpent's Crest is a drop from a serpent that resides in a cave in Lifewood. I'd advise having Gloria know Null Water before fighting it. It spams tsunami.

@albertillo My tip for the arena is to raid the Miasmal Citadel before you try it. There are some very good items in there to help. Also, try to make sure your health is topped up and mana is in decent shape before ending each battle when you get into the last three or four fights. Also try to have the best weapon for all your characters, though some like Solaar's might be too hard to get at that point. You should also complete the fairy quest as it gives you a scarab which is incredibly handy.
The same general tips apply to the solo challenges, though I only started them after I cleaned the Dream Shrine of all its treasure. The Rainbow Disk is invaluable for it's 40% resistance across the board.
An easy win for Sslen'ck is to equip him with the Drakel Crescent for Soul Strike, the cursed beret, lesser rainbow shirt, and the scarabs of fury and health. He rarely takes damage and kills almost everything in one hit.

I don't know whether to be proud that I killed a dragon after going through 19 other enemies or ashamed that I had to do it by outlasting his mp bar and unleashing scratch damage...

This, I believe, is a good tip so keep it alive if you think so too. If you get a blue "!" above your head, press X and/or Z repeatedly (don't remember which) to skip the battle. This does not work for red "!". This is very useful for those things that are timed like the Fire Temple Spirits.
