There seems to be some confusion over the Miasmal Chalices... It used to be that you couldn't get them after getting the crystal in that temple. HOWEVER, there was an update, so you can now get a Chalice even after you've gotten the crystal.

jason it's easy to deduce that but it is annoying for all the players who haven't got to that part of the game to just get told that as they would most likely want to figure it out themselves

see they say he wears green like deugans element uses a greatsword and also has something social fox's name he said he wanted to be like social fox right? so IT MUST BE HIM!!! and also the mystery man is steele and the water guardian is emela :D

im lost at the water temple.......the walkthrough has some errors i think because it says that after going though the northwest door to get the emerald switch you should go southeast and cross some sapphire platforms but there arent any..... help anyone? =/

Alright heres some more tips not mentioned in the walkthrough..I have no idea where people are getting the 'you cant get the chalice after youve gotten the crystal' because I decided to leave the chalice alone and beat the temple and come back later when im stronger to just 1-hit the monsters, which it worked and I got the dark chalice after already entering the water temple..Now on the water guardian, Dont equip much +water res..use Elwyen's Balance spell so that all of your characters would take 1/4th damage [instead of 1 character taking full damage]...and Gloria's Null Water Once spell ON THE WHOLE PARTY [once the spell is selected click on the right arrow key] so that Tsunami isn't effective at all, Gloria can learn it by having a Sapphire Bangle equipped. It also says that after defeating the Fire Guardian you can retreat and heal+save then come back and get the fire crystal and faceoff against Bartholio's team, so be prepared..which is untrue because the door is blocked by magic

After completing the water temple, the walkthrough says for the fire temple: "Head to Aeropolis, to the western sector, where you can find the Shaman's residence. With Gloria in your party, speak to him, and he'll reveal the location of Crimson Peak, a volcano." But no, he does not trust me enough to tell me. What should I do for him?

@LizardGuy / Anyone in the dark temple -- Molester guys are easy! Just have Mardek use the skill Morality Block. That gives you 1 Null light and 1 Null dark. That will protect you from most of his moves :D Hope that helps

Destroyermode, you obviously don't have experience with Pseudolonewolfs concept of time. Most notably, Mardek Ch. 3 was only going to take a short time before it was released too. A few days could mean eons to Pseudolonewolf for all we know.

how do I use the warp circles in the lifewood forest? i'm walking over them, im pretty sure i got the talisman from glorias place as well but i'm not able to enter the dreamworld thing

while thanks for the walkthrough (without it it would never have occurred to me to switch characters for a quest!), getting Legion is proving to be an issue. i have all the listed components and both Marea and Gloria in my party, but nothing happens... off to see wtf else i'm missing, by reading through the step-by-step instructions and seeing which one i managed to not follow yet...

suggestions for the next game: have armor and weapons be apparent in battle, bring in mardek's father somewhere, have him encounter lone wolf multiple times,and Perhaps more plays in the aeropolis theatre

When writing the walkthrough, you should have been more specific about the switch-flipping. It's a bit confusing to follow in the Water Temple when you just say "flip" this switch. Sometimes I lose track of whether it should be on or off. It's not that hard to say flip the switch ON/OFF.

@MrHehE you need to have gotten the bandit key first and then go to aeropolis and in the slums area you can use it to access the bandit shop and then you buy the eldritch key and in the abandoned spaceship place there is a door which it unlocks and after following the path you get to miasmal citadel but to get further in to find the trilobite you need to collect all the miasmal chalices and despite what the walkthrough says you can still get the chalices after you get the temples crystal

Great walkthrough. I wasn't planning on using it for chapter 3, but seeing the huge amount of sidequests... My favourite part for now is 2. I am going to replay it and pray that the newly added zombies and droma's at the Moric battles won't be distracting. I remember battling the Saviours for the first time, about two years ago. It costed me like 20 tries. =P

Ohyes. But there's one problem - I don't want to see it because I don't want to have any spoiler - ruin for me - as in, I don't want to get the start/end of chapter 3 since I didn't play it yet - but still, I want to know I have every single skill before I finish the game...
Oh well. I guess all Ill do is beat 3 normally by myself, trying to find and grasp everything I can, THEN use walkthrough to get the skills and find out little secrets. Chapter 2 was incredibly distracting for me so I kind of missed a few things...

Pseudolonewolf: You can ALSO win against Ss'lenck by spamming Thunderbolt and Flame against all and making Mardek as offensive as possible (well, even though hes a tank-like)

For anyone wondering about when the walkthrough is going to be updated, my guess is that Pseudolonewolf is waiting for the contest to end to prevent further chances of his walkthrough winning over his game. Just my thoughts.

@Woodenhorse. To bring Legion to life, you'll need to gather the cord, the crystal rose and the skull first, then with Meraeador (you might need Gloria as well) in your party and go to the library in Aeropolis to discover where the book is located :) Once you have the necromancer's book, go into Meraeador's house in Goznor with BOTH Meraeador and Gloria in your party and you can then play with Legion :)

@BinyaminTsadik : Yes, they do. Only if you made these save files after he updated the system. If your files are from the previous version, you will know because they won't be playable anymore. One more not; if you load either MARDEK RPG 1, 2, or 3 the beginning few screens will explain what happened, read them carefully.
