i cant pass the water temple but i can pass the others because the water temple has a puzzle and not even the walkthrough helped me there. any advice?

Just to clarify a point in the water temple section, you can't buy aquamarine in Aeropolis. You get three of them from a chest in the Serpent's Cave.

This walkthrough is great, to be sure, but loses a star in the fact that it doesn't tell you anything about the Arena. What's the point of a walkthrough, then? So far the Arena is fairly easy (I'm writing this comment while playing it), but even so...

I need 8 monster fangs but they aren't sold in any store and the only way to get them would require me to kill (and I calculated this) about 54 punk monsters (its a probability thing) and get into 213 battles which means in turn means it would take 4.5 hours of farming to get... Developer help!!!

I am honestly surprised that so many people actually need help to do the Water Temple...
If you use basic logic and reasoning it isn't that hard. When they are activated the doors are down but the gems in the water are gone. The reverse is true when they aren't activated. Do try and figure it out for yourselves, it is starting to annoy me that a (or so it appears to be) majority of people need help with it. Hmmm, now I seem to be reminiscing of another Water Temple in a different game...
Oh, Dereks, that probably isn't true. There may be a few, but I think there are maybe two or three ways. But I'm more inclined to think that there is but one way to get through it, without any mistakes. Of course, I could be wrong.

Uh. I was able to dodge and run from random encounters when escaping the saucer at the end of Chapter 2. Also, a slight typo when talking about Muriance: You said the Cog Necklace was from Chapter 2 instead of one.

For those who need help in the water temple: The walkthrough provided is a bit wrong in that it missed a few steps. First, you turn on both of the switches in the far south western room. Before leaving, turn OFF the first switch that you had hit. Checking your map, you should now see there being crystals floating on water in that room. Leave your room and go to where the crystals are and now flip OFF the blue switch. Now you can follow the walkthrough and go to the southeastern room to flip the moonstone switch. Keep this post alive if you think it is important!

I thought I was the only one, but i saw two other comments saying what Im going to say, the walkthrough for the water temple is wrong. Ive tried putting all of the gems back to off and starting over multiple times, but nothing works. Ive even tried different ways, and nothing seems to work. Could you please fix this quickly?

The walkthrough section for Mardek 3 Water Temple isn't right - there are several steps missing prior to the flipping the Moonstone switch. (There may be others, but that's as far as I've gotten so far.) Following the steps in the walkthrough, you end up in the southeast room with neither the sapphire nor emerald platforms up.

After i read this walkthrough, i decided to stop playing mardek for months because i can't believe i lost out on so much material and chapter 3 looks so complicated.

I have to say, im loving the new versions of chapter 1 and 2, as well as number 3! pseudo is the best gamewriter on kong and i say that without a doubt.
But still if only the walkthrough would be updated soon, especially where the hell you get legions skills! ive done everything in chapter 3 except the survivor arena and animus, and its taken me 3 hours to get 2 of his skills.... blood drain and bubble breath.
so please pseudo, add that to the walkthrough, and maybe let Legion learn the skills if anyone gets hit, PLEASE!

OK, serious flaw in the water temple guide. dont press the emerald switch, go through the northeast door, cross the emerald steps, turn off ether switch, go back to northwest, turn on emerald, then cross the turquoise platforms to turn off the saphire switch to make the platforms appear.

I have a few questions: is there a way to fight warport guards after you get the gold passport? Are there any missable skills for Legion? And the last one is a request for Pseudolonewolf, could you also include in the walkthrough some skill dmg formulas?

@Kilerocket, "Little item bug: It's not so terrible, but the "Trilobite Armour" gives +110% water resistance when equipped instead of the 10% that it claims to give. Along with it's 50% water resist skill, you could gain +160% water resist from just that ONE piece of equipment. Anyway: looks like a typo in the item's code where you might have typed 110 instead of 10 (percent)."
That isn't a bug, the armor states that it gives 10% Water Absorb. In order to absorb it must be over 100%, and since it claims 10% absorb, lands your resistance at 110%. Read more carefully next it.

I can confirm that there is one aquamarine in one of the Aeropolis shops. Keep in mind that there's a peddler with a shop in the way lower-left of the first screen of the city, as well as other peddlers throughout the city. I don't recall which had it, but it is there. Keep searching and talk to everyone.
