Entertaining game, like others said, more spooky than scary. I also agree that a good scare could be achieved by making us wait after lightning the final candles.. confused, you do down and out of the attic to see if you missed anything and wham! Scare rolls in, cue ending.

Well done little game. Spooky. Not really scary (mostly... LOL). 5/5 (5 doesn't mean perfect, it means you're in the top 20% of games at Kongregate, for me) Some advice. Way too much moving around. It's a bit OVER spooky. Specially when you first enter. Way too much. Slow it down. Make the ghosts only appear when you are in the room sometimes. The cups are weak. But, make them much more rarely move. Yes, it's a quick game but still, the atmosphere would get much spookier/chilling and less cartoonish. Also, the final bit in the attic. Could use a redo. SUSPENSE. USE IT. Make us wait for something.

Not really scary, but had a good atmosphere of creepy. The only minor scare was the opening of the cupboard. Probably should do a bit more of a tutorial I didn't notice my inventory page and things to find/take pictures of until I'd explored most of the house. Did everything and enjoyed it. Make a sequel/similar game and actually try and make it a bit more scary tho :) 4/5.

i lied, i couldnt resist, played again just for the newspaper :S lol but im glad i did, the second time round I got EVERYTHING :) even the messages :D great game, very creepy :)

OMW ACCIDENTALLY SKIPPED NEWSPAPER AT THE END!!! I'M NOT GOING TO GO THROUGH THAT AGAIN JUST FOR THE NEWSPAPER IT WAS SCARY AS HELL

good game... wardrobe was *shudder* ... lol a friend told me that after they finished, the story played through their mind and got made into a huge horror story in their mind.... lol just for that 5/5

Very freaky game...Tried to play with the lights out and sound up but it scared me too much lol...Turned my light back on...Nice graphics and good story..The random ghosts popping out, the constant footstep sounding noises, and also eerie backstory set the stage well...Very few flash games can be scary, this is one of them...5/5 Well done:)
