My only problem with the game as far as design was that everything does the same damage to you regardless of the type of enemy or how much damage it has taken. Since the guns auto aim at the closest to the base, when heavy armor is first they get farther down and your left with 4 or 5 small objects hitting you. doing equal damage. seems there is no point for different enemies if they all do the same thing.

is it just me or is "hard" not really hard at all? just tried building ALL [T]roopers and won easily w/o leaking at all... looks great, feels slow and boring... also upgrading bunkered infanterie is a pain... add an option to upgrade all at once maybe?

it would be sorta nice if you could repair the base... also what would be cool is if upgrades were available for buildings(like upgrading mining would increase more income) and I agree with the others bout the graphics it looks great =)
over all ima rate 4/5 i love tower games... i see potential =D

Excellent graphics; gameplay is dull. Lack of freezers, AOE weapons really made it a lackluster experience playing through the campaign. Needs some continuity between levels; right now it's just the same grind every time, no progression. No point in replaying old levels, as there's no progression and no awards for doing better. Really lacks a lot of the little gameplay details that make a TD great.

good effort overall - nice graphics, good tutorial, various maps and units. like the stats screen for units, but seems the rate of fire graphic is misleading (machine gun doesnt seem to shoot twice as fast as others, or it doesn't matter). also weird that you make much more money from the mining facility than kills. as noted by others, early wave doesnt give you cash from mining. needs a 4x as well.

The three best units for damage are the missile launcher, artillery cannon, and ordinary trooper. Everything else is cost-ineffective by comparison when fully upgraded, including the elite troopers, ion cannon, and disruptor. As a prior comment says, very nice looking, but poorly balanced.

PRO TIP: DO NOT SKIP WAVES(NEXT WAVE) IF YOU ARE IN NEED FOR CASH BECAUSE MINING FACTORIES DO NOT GIVE YOU MONEY IF YOU DO NEXT WAVE SO JUST PUT IT ON 2X AND WAIT.

It would be great if you added some kind of overall upgrade system that you spend money you earn at the end of each level on. Otherwise, it does get pretty boring pretty fast, but it's a great concept, so for that 4/5.

Did anyone actually beat this? I couldn't get past level two due to it being so boring... and I have been known to enjoy some pretty zzzzzzzz TD games.

hmmm...it has potential, but it could use more depth, like skill tree or different specialications for towers, maybe bonus missions...hope you will make another part, use the good things from this version and expand it wisely ;)

i love td but this is average. note: if i press 'next wave' i want all the gold my mine would generate over that time

annother good looking game with flat gameplay. one of those where you just spam the best tower they'll give you at the time to win. almost no point in buying basic troops at all if you stock up on the turrets, and the turrets are all just generic "+$=+Dmg" upgrades. no status effects, no real armor or utility troops (IE: cloakers, speeders, ect ect), not even a troop/ground/air seperation to make the turrent variety count for something. as much as i hate too many rewards, i admit something here and there also spices up gameplay. working for gold/silver/bronze in each level as a basic gives things a bit of replayability. as it is it just gets too old, too fast.
i cant honestly give good marks for looks alone, so i'll have to give it a 2. keep going, upgrade and improve, and this one'll be a winner!

Superb graphics, but the game play doesn't have very much depth. I'd like there to be reasons to buy different kinds of towers, instead of simply buying the biggest gun. There's no reason to buy anything but the mine and the factory at the beginning levels; I understand I might need the air strikes later, but the infantry is just too expensive compared to turrets.

Very cool graphics, but not that well balanced. The fact that I could easily survive the last level by deploying only missile launchers, and casually upgrade them (without air support) tells that there is a lot of room for improvement regarding gameplay. Still, very nice, loved the menu, controls, artwork. Thanks for sharing.

On of the best TD games I've played.
Excellent graphics, excellent and appropriate music, fast paced without being too fast, well balanced.
I'm looking forward to the sequel. :)
5/5

I was bored at stage 2, that's not a good sign as TD games are my favorite. There was a lot of work put into and it shows, but there is no "IT", just a build a tower kill the baddies game. 4/5 for effort and concept, but not enough for 5/5.

All I can say is... AMAZING! I've been playing TDs for a long time, and this one is just marvelous. Still raw, but marvelous. The bunkers idea is kind of refreshing, and leaves space for way more strategy than the old plain towers. Could use something like different damage/enemy types to add a bit more difficulty, but other than that, is a great game as it is right now. 4/5, hoping for updates/a 2nd one.

If the game seems too fast, you can pause it to issue commands (buy/upgrade). In fact, it's highly recommended that you do.

not a bad attempt to diversify the genre, but there do seem to be the aforementioned balancing issues, as well as the game looking a bit too fast for what it is. overall, the result turns out pretty average, which is still fun. :)

It's a great game and the graphics are top notch. The idea of buying resource buildings is a terrific innovation. Unfortunately, the design around those buildings is a bit flat. There's little reason, (at least as far as I saw within the first 3 levels), of NOT simply buying them all with your starting cash. You sort of have to, so that ends up removing the choice...(then the actions just feel perfunctory). Also, with no real damage types, the ground weapons all feel the same. One simply buys the most powerful gun in the menu, upgrades it, then buys it again. So now the game is basically reduced to an observational DPS comparison. Kind of boring. So, more variety! More compelling choices!

Like this game, a good TD, but could do with a few in game achievements and a decent ending when completed.. maybe a level editor would be cool...
