Ok, so I go to all the trouble of earning all golds, and THAT is the final boss? Really? I spent longer figuring out which should be my second skill tree than fighting him.

i really love this game. nice blend of action and rpg. needed a little game balancing though. looking forward for a full length rpg in next release :) 5 thumbs!

A great game. The graphics bring me back to a simpler time. The max level thing is sort of a negative. I would like to be able to get all the spell/skills and get a different title after doing so. A sequel would be awesome too.

Not bad, but definitely way to easy. Difficulty levels might help but not much. I think the biggest problem is that ALL spells, at least the ones I used, are area effect from the beginning. Higher levels didn't get much harder because ten mobs clumped together are no harder than one.

Game does show you what level cap is. When you press space bar, it is written at top left corner of the screen. Dont blame the game if you cant spot stuff like that.

The "Tower Games" ad banner is covering up my survival medal. I don't even know what the medal is, but it has a different coloured ribbon, so I know it's not gold.

I like this, though the level cap seems to be to restrictive for people who want to be as uber as they want. Anyway, you should do that sequel. Right now. Please.

Reaching the max level of 15 was too unexpected. 15 is unintuitive, and there was no mention of a level cap. After lv10, I thought if there was a cap it would be at 20, so I planned to get the final three skills in the Ice tree. Pretty nasty surprise when I stopped leveling before I could get a single point into those skills.

Awesome game! I really like the talent trees, and it would be cool to have a greater selection--darkness, wind, etc-- raising the level cap is another good idea. all in all a really good game. I look forward to seeing a sequel. 5/5

I really love this game! I loved how you could choose what skills you could have and stuff. A sequel with more skills and enemies would be great. :D

Very nice game, though more upgrades and spell would be nice. Perhaps an inventory, where we could equip a melee weapon and shoes to make us run faster (instead of relying on skills), but it's just an idea.
The only complain I have is that it is too short and (at least for a fire mage) easy, though the survival mode kind of compensates it.
5/5

And ignore my first comment :L i realized that 3 skills at a time was plenty as soon as i thought "hmm i wonder if i can cast them all at once" :D but still, remove the max level :L Great potential here for a great upcoming series with a little bit more work. 5/5 because i want to see a sequel :)

add to Eclecto: include a skills reset allowing for varied game play. Furthermore, when there is a full version, different monsters could have vulnerabilties/strengths to the elements and thus, there would be a need for differnt spells to attack.

Really easy ! I completed all but one levels 100% first time and I don't think my health fell below 50% (except maybe the boss battle) that said I enjoyed the game a story would have been nice.

I like the current amount of skill points amongst the trees. With 28 skill points you can hit the bottom skills. It requires 10 points in a tree to reach the bottom level x2, leaving points to fill in the last level of both trees. Just can't max out everything on the way. Such as... Ice tree: 2/3 winters might, 1/1 ice bolt, 2/3 frostbite, 3/3 icebolt frenzy, 2/2 glacial flow, 2/2 chilling winds, 3/3 Master of Cold. Healing tree: 3/3 Holy Grace, 2/2 Swift Retribution, 3/3 Miracle Healing, 3/3 Holy Wrath, 2/2 Chosen one, got me to the 6.5 minute mark in survival. machine gun ice bolt, basic ice nova control, and healing. I also can't think of any talent while looking at it that I consider useless, at least in a certain build.

The "max out on fire" strategy really is depressingly effective. The first time through, I tried to generalize, and I was playing and re-playing level 5, trying to get past it. The second time through, I put everything into fire, and (except for a couple of silvers on 4 and 5) I got gold medals on my first pass of every level. Kind of a shame.

Please remove the max level, and possibly add some more skill slots? 3 skills isn't that much, especially if you have heal equipped.

I loved this game but the max level spolt it a bit i love games were i can just max every skill and stuff also it is like you can not get any better after that

I'd like to see more chance to overlap the skill trees a bit. Specialization should be a part of the game--after all, it adds to the replay value--but right now it seems like there's no point in splitting your skills between trees because you have to invest so many points in spells you're not using before you hit skills that benefit ALL spells.

Good concept. I really like the game, but there are spots that could use improvement. The graphics have a nice enough style, but could use some detail work. The overall difficulty is fairly low, which is generally compensated with the ranking system, but sometimes still feels insubstantial. Enemies do get a bit repetitive, mini-bosses would help a lot.
There is huge potential for additional game mechanics/enemy variety. Just look at any top down shooter or any of the 2D Zelda games for inspiration.

If you choose any other skill besides fire, it makes the game harder.... basically fire= good, ice and heal= ok as secondary skills. good base for the game though. keep up the good work.

A good small scope game, but quite a bit on the easy side. (I didn't die a single time, and maxed out skills in one spell school before the end.) I would have liked to see a wider variety of enemies, even in a small game like this, and perhaps a middle boss or two. The final boss lacked some punch himself.
By the way, I hate it when people use "RPG-elements" to mean "kill baddies to get better skills/stats", but I guess that's my problem. Anyway, I think it would be cool if you'd make some more story and a nice choice or two in the sequel.

A really solid game. I really hope to see this ramped up to something more fully featured, but I like the playstyle and the leveling system.
