Pretty fun, but way too easy. I like the art style, speed is good, nice skill set. Could use a bit of variation in the skill bonuses (poison, charm, other standard effects?) but overall a nice lightweight setup with some room for strategy and combos.

any chance of having the spells listed in the upgrade screen in the same order as your spells being cast????????????????????????????

Awesome game, the only thing that can be considered a drawback is the lack of a reset skills option, more content like enemies and a higher level cap.The game itself is almost perfect it only needs more content.

Well, it's was a very good game, so sad it's a little too easy... we never run out of mana ( exept if you use heal/armageddon often.. ) but the talents tree was great, i love these :3 Anyway, i give a 5/5, because it's seem to be your first game, and it's was a great one.

Only problem I had was the ease of the main game. Survival mode is awesome, but the campaign was a tad easy. I don't think I got below gold in anything on the first attempts. Definitely did enjoy the skill system though and survival definitely had me surviving. Great game.

The games' awesome! Loved the whole idea and the mixup of styles in it. Got the Fire/Ice skill tree to beat the game. MonoFireball and Icebolts, with all the synergy they can get, firing both at the same time. Really nice game! 5/5

Liked 3 different "element" branches. Maybe it would be better to choose a class at the beginning (Wizard, Priest etc), with each having different branches (Wizard - Fire\Ice\Lightning, Priest - Divine\Banish\Support)?

Customizable talent trees make me happy. Anything that adds creativity to the gameplay of an rpg style game. Thanks. 5/5. -Ice is my favorite tree, mix with holy for machine gun ice bolts and crazy mana regen. nova to keep things from shooting and also self healing spell.

I vote for the Introduction of a alternative input keys.
123,asd,cxz this way basically anyone no matter what the keyboard layout should be able to play this game.

After getting all the skills maxed in each of the branches, I have to say the holy branch is severely nerfed. Not only do the other bolt spells from the other branches have splash damage and can rack up damage over time to multiple enemies, but the aoe spell is nothing more than a fancy flashlight. It has delay in its hits so it can't take down enemy missiles quickly, and is so limited in range it's practically useless. It can't hit behind you so you spend half the time dodging bullets from enemies you missed and can't hit anymore. Healing is useless since not only is the cool down after all skills maxed too slow, but the enemies do more damage to you than you can heal. It's pretty much something to delay the inevitable. Ironically the only good part is the holy branch takes down the final boss with relative ease compared to the other branches. Holy branch needs a huge aoe spell like the other branches do, and maybe giving the bolt spell splash would help.

Little wish list:
-Add more levels
-Boss every few levels, final boss was way to easy
-Special abilities for every spell tree, burn for fire, freeze for ice, and extra dmg against specific units
-More Advanced spell tree, more spells
-After upgrading spell to highest lvl it should change animation to look more powerful !
-Some ultimate spell that would be saving us like once in lvl.
-Add Rock, Poison, Air, Steel, Electricity spell trees !
+ If you agree +

I really love this game =). I can imagine it becoming something epic. Imagine different classes, being able to party with other, big level caps, quests etc. It would make an awesome MMORPG =).

Small bug I've found, if you click on survival mode without actually unlocking it, it freezes the whole game. Beyond that, a higher level cap (or for higher levels more skill points), a reset skills button. What you've already mentioned about adding in more depth to the story and levels themselves. Items would be a plus. Possibly adding in the ability to shoot a fireball diagonally. Overall short and simple. I like it.

PLZ let the keys be customized. Ever saw a german keyboard layout? y and z are exchanged. do that and the rating is 5/5. In this case it is 2/5, cause theres no octopus in my family tree...

Just playing the levels once and choosing the fire three, i got gold, bronze(x2), silver(x3), gold (x3) im not sure the game is meant to be decrementally hard.

Please never make this game require grinding. It is a wonderful diversion for a short time and could be harder, but don't make it so hard that you need to repeat levels. Or add a harder difficulty for people who want to grind, and those of us who like games we only have to play once can still be happy.

A good start but the two things I see this game really lacking (besides length, which even you mentioned) is variation of the monsters and speed. All monsters move at basically the same speed and tend to migrate together, which makes the fire tree very easy and the ice tree's stuns not that useful. And overall speed. If the game was a bit quicker paced (and maybe the more traditional top-down long and skinny view), I think it'd add a lot. As it is, I wanted to mash the keys harder just because it took so long to get over to something.

I'd recommend not using divine as a primary... Use either fire or ice (not together) with divine as a secondary. I tried divine as a primary.... hard, but not impossible.

I always liked the idea of power-up droppings of the enemies when you killed them. Maybe the skill tree can be replaced with the droppings.

I like 11/0/17 trip fireball+smite spam. And you have the choice of judgment(+imp jud) or heal(+imp heal) or of course a mix of the two.

Really nice game, but I think it's just to easy, I mean I got in all missions gold in first try. Even so I enjoyed it, I'm hoping for a sequel. 4/5

not the best game i've played but i have a friend who could make something like this... it would take him a year though. good job rancid1984 you may be new at this but i still congratulate you
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
its a good game, but it still needs alot of updates like more enemy types, more levels and more bosses. Multiplayer i think is also good idea (like going survivial with friend) and geting gold medals should be harder because it was very easy to get them now :) so i'll give it 4/5

NIce game. Would love to get a bit higher level than 15. So many things to get that i can't. Would be good if once you reach survival mode, then higher levels were unlocked.

I disagree about the comments on which trees are better. It doesn't matter, the game is too easy to worry about trees.

For planning purposes folks: the max level is 15. Enough for me to max fire and pick up a few holy talents down to enhanced healing. So... yeah no getting everything - damn! :) Simple, fun, and isn't that what it's all about. Hooray for more story mode and more spells/spell slots/choices/much higher max level! I mean heck if people want to be weirdos and mix up schools why not let 'em if they're willing to play long enough to get the exp?
