its because your attack power dropped to minus and it added health to monster because the equation for it was slimehealth-(attackpower).

Decided to flee from the second monster. Later tried to kill a slime, its health was 50 for like 10-15 rounds. Fled, tried slime again, starting health 105. My health was slowly dropping, after ~15 turns the slime's health was ~380...
