this game becomes so much easier on second playthrough, then you know the order of events and know which skills you want to level up first... first time playing i had 0 morale and worst ending... second time 100 morale and best ending...

The 3 endings:
1. Everyone DIES
2. Village is half destroyed and you have to leave
3. Village is virtually undamaged and you are welcome to stay.

Well that took a long time to figure out the endings. TBH, everyone dying was the last one i found :\

i wonder how to get the 3rd ending?
1. got the bad ending where village gone. you leave.
2. minor dmg. you can leave/stay open ending
3. ????? - no dmg? and you become chief? :^)

1. Why does it look like they're walking on their tippy toes?
2. The white fox - best pet ever
3. where's the skip scene button on re-runs? ;c
4. I think I got the "good end". (having a pet fox, welcome in the village.)
P.S. To do well. Write down all the problems that happen and make sure you have the stats ready for each of them :3.
P.P.S. Don't be afraid of giving the villagers beer in the first one. Trading morale for charisma stats #worth

Just maybe it should be made more obvious that the outcome of decisions is derived from stats :))) A lot of people seem to get it "wrong" because they pick choices adventure-style (what sounds more reasonable) rather then rpg-style (which one I have the stat for).
Never lost one on a second playthrough. (Hint: trollingly, for people familiar with classic RPG mechanics and (im)balance, DEX appears to be a dumpstat)

I like how you are referred to as 'them' and your character isn't obviously male or female. I was easily able to imagine my character as my own gender and I'm sure everyone else could too.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
how do I get the "Right Decisions" in those morale challenges?
the only one that I have ever done "right" is the alcohol one

All your work is incredibly moving. The subtle and gentle tones throughout all of them leave you with a warm glow inside. I have the biggest smile on my face every time I play any of them. I play a lot of games, and honestly, yours are some of the best. I hope you keep making them, I'm a huge fan of yours!

No game has ever made me feel so pathetic. I made every decision wrong and ended the game with 0% morale. Nice going me.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I don't know who tagged this game as 'relaxing' but when you're making well-intended but ultimately unsuccessful choices every time during your first playthrough and watching your morale go down, it's pretty much the opposite of relaxing.

I tried making all bad decisions. And accidentally made one good one... Though I was at -1 strength and 35 charisma before the entire town died.

Great game. I have been following you ever since "Home" and I get excited every time I see a new game out. I really love story heavy games (not to say I dislike other games) and your games always leave me with a smile. Keep up the good work!!!

Beautiful game. I enjoyed it on all 3 of my attempts. I finally got 100%! Best Ending! I look forward to more of these awesome games.

hmm... 10th time trying to do the perfect path. My best try was 2 correct decisions...
Now kids, what we learned here?
I'm a genious.

Honestly, I don't really understand why this game is so down-voted. I mean, what's there not to like?
Great game, by the way. Hope you make games even better than this in the future.
Thanks! It's disappointing, true, but I feel like it all just depends on who happens to find the game first. Like my first two did really well quite fast because I guess it just so happened that the people who saw it liked that kind of game. It's not a game for everyone so I understand why people might not like it, but I do hope the ratings pick up soon because they really do help me out a ton!

from a lonely adventurer housing an alchemist, saving a smith, and his daughter, to teaching that young girl to be an adventurer herself, and then THAT adventurer finding an infected girl, taking here home, and inevitable saving her, to.. what? THAT girl becoming a traveler? SAVING YET MORE INNOCENT PEOPLE!?!?!? THERES A LESSON IN HERE SOME WHERE!!! I KNOW IT!!! oh wait.... kindness begets kindness?
I love you work man, from the stories to the simplicity of the games them selves. even this last one, a sort of "tycoon" style build, with a good story behind it. i got 100% moral, a cute white fox pet named frost fire, over 15 in all stats except agility (which i only got to 12 and never actually used for any of the challenges), and never failed any of the challenges.
Thanks man! This game actually has no connection to the characters from the Home series although I can say it does take place in the same world. And that sounds like a solid playthrough, a lot of people seem to get 0 morale their first time through just because of bad luck I suppose.

I played twice. I did random things. I saved the GOSH DARN ADORABLE arctic fox and its name was Ruffles.I saved people. The village morale was at 80 when I was done. I got the good ending. BEST GAME EVER. I RATE IT 10/10 IGN.

Why do you keep making games like that... i always sit infront of my PC smiling like an idiot after playing one, it's really annoying ^^.
Haha... great job again, awesome game i love it :D
(the song at the end is the one of Journey: Home, right? :D )

Max out helping 3 people and managed to get all good choices on my 3rd try. Did the tavern work last and got the best ending.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great Game. I would like the ability to skip conversations and restart once you hit the end. This is my 3rd time through! Still trying to get to 100%!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
To get the good ending:
Water down the alcohol.
Go to Lissara first, as many times as possible.
Then, go to the mines as much as possible.
Then, the tavern for the rest; choose to clean tables.
When you have a choice, choose the one that seems like you're using a skill.
You can mess up one or two of the challenges and still get the best ending.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I played through it a second time and the decision order is the same so if you arn't strong enough on day 16 it will stay the same.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Instead of helping anyone out, I just went to the tavern every single day and served drinks, and somehow, the village still survived...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
if you want a tip to maximize morale, avoid getting agility. you can get the good ending to every single scenario with strength, charisma, and intelligence alone.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm always impressed by your work, i think i got the middle ending, 60/100 morale... it kept shifting from 50-60 the entire time for me
