I know, I simply meant that after you beat the game and unlock characters in the class screen, you should be able to see them as other characters once you start up another. At the least so you can see the requirements for said advanced classes.

I hope everyone gives this game a chance. Here are a few tips for new players:
1. You can drag the view around with your mouse. 2. You need to drag your ranged weapon onto the toolbar to use it 3. Dwarf is a good class to use for the "Earth Might" spell - just put a few points in transmutation to get it 4. Elf mage with "fire" affinity is good early on with fire breath. 5. Conjuration is a very good magic school for many classes - esp. priests since you will get life and death affinities. 5. Garuda is a great race because you can fly over water to get away from many monsters. 6. If you are a mage do levels for death/life affinity. If you are a priest do levels for fire/water/earth/air affinities

There is need for 2 races that have either 1 death affinity or 1 fire affinity.
I have to say, however, birdflight for a warrior can be devastating.

your numlock must be inactive. Page up/down are used to watch other levels in the dungeon, so it is normal to see nothing if you haven't been to this level yet

Also, for the Halberd weapon, I noticed the sprite for said weapon was wrong. The Halberd is a spear, and the sprite itself is a sword.

I love the way that you dealt with experience. Giving the "hero" the ability to auto-upgrade things was a great touch, and works greatly with a rouge-like.

Can't drag items to trashcan. Reloading helps, but it soon bugs out, again. Otherwise, fun to play, but really can't.

I thought it was perhaps a glitch, but I don't believe it is? I think once you go through a character and unlock the character classes, you should be able to keep said advanced classes as you go onto other characters. Or at the very least, once you max those character classes out. I went through as a rogue and maxed out both Assassin and Ranger/Archer, along with Rogue, but after I decided to try another class, at least just to unlock more, I didn't find them. Perhaps that should be a feature in future updates?
Many advanced classes have power based on the base classes, like ranger who modify the warrior's charge, so going direclty into an advanced class is not really possible. Each classes have 2 speciality (rogue's are assassin and archer) so you must raise another base classe

Pressed '3' on my numpad (to see if diagonal move worked). World blacked out. Unrecoverable. Game is still responsive.

OK, I've been playing for a bit now. The UI update is good, and I've got a better grip on ranged strategy. I don't really see any downsides to this game any more. The ranger class is amazing, btw. Level up Rogue and Warrior to 5 to get it.

Is it just me or is the demon weaker than most of the enemies on the last hex before the castle where the hostages are?

Great roguelike. You have some UI/accessibility issues - if the UI is small enough for the screen to be usable, you can't see how much XP a skill costs. My only substantive issue is that the balance appears to be skewed significantly towards ranged enemies. Some wide open levels are pretty much instant death due to being overwhelmed by ranged enemies.
I try to correct most UI issue (small update for the XP cost size). About the balancing, ranged enemies are hard in the firsts levels for some classes, and close combat enemies are hard for some classes in the later levels (try the fire golem :) ). The game is globally hard, but less than most roguelike.

And another patch!
UI scale is reset to standard (you can change it in the settings) but most text are now bigger.
Most icon have now tooltip with mouse over (except the top menu but I don't feel it necessary ... tell me if it is).
Difficulty is set to easy by default. But, as a lot of roguelike, it does not mean you won't die! You start with potions. Use them!

YOU CAN CLICK AND DRAG TO LOOK AROUND. a few hours in and i am just learning this, how did i not stumble into it on accident.

if possible please make fire breath fire when you click in a field that it can hit, instead of walking into the middle of a pile of high damage melee enemies and dying like a drunk idiot.
It should be possible, but you won't have control over the angle for the breath. The best way is to click on firebreath and then on the tile next to you to breath in that direction.

The game has the potential, as in it grabs you in and you really start to enjoy the game, but a few things I have to nit-pick. I spend to much time trying to figure out which items best suit my character and I'm always having to compare items in my inventory, when I'd prefer to spend more time exploring. The buttons get in your way if you dont zoom out. I have no idea what each icon stands for. I don't know if I'm leveling-up (do I level-up?) The Pro's about the game: The Art/Animation is groovy, The auto leveling-up on the attributes is dope.

okay so twice in a row, i got instantly destroyed by a swarm of ranged mobs seeing me an shooting me down before i could even get to a place where i could even SEE them, let alone do anything to them. put a range cap in on enemy mobs.

it's also garbage that enemies in line of sight can attack me and i can't do anything about it because of the view angle.

Ok, sometimes I walk towards an enemy and suddenly my warrior will walk the other way. Tried using charge, he instead of going NE, went south.

Energy seems to be bugged. After you used Heal Spell you cant regain all your energy by resting, it also bugs with some other spells.

the map generator is not working properly, sometimes they create random walls and they will block the path. Could not finish some dungeons and had to flee

Nice start, but need tweaks. Text is hardly readable, extremely small. Better instructions would help. A button for fast trash item on click.
I am uploading a version with increased default UI scale (you can change it in the settings).
You can fast trash by double clicking on the trash bin.
I will update through the weeks with more contextual tooltips. Tooltips are available in the character sheet for now.
Thanks for your comments (you and others :) )

It was pretty fun but very difficult to read any of the text. A lot of the text was white on white along the left too.
