Gets a bit laggy after playing it a few hours contentiously and background starts disappearing after dying a couple times in 1 run

We've removed the tutorial because 1) players found it long and annoying and 2) we've changed mechanics faster in the past so the tutorial got outdated quickly. We will have a full tutorial in before this goes out of beta.

It would be nice to have a "Reset Anima" option, which allows re-rolling all the Anima and levels of passives. This would open up a level of strategy for potential bonus challenge levels in the future (assuming a world map is implemented), where enemies might require certain stats to be defeated more than others.
We would like the "Trait" system to do this job instead of essences. Thanks for the suggestion! Edit: v0.4.0 is out with the new Challenge mode & Traits system, please tell us what you think!

for now i would suggest adding a "low performance mode", it's quite heavy to have this running for a long time having a low performance mode would allow you have this running in the back at all times, and you can just check up on it whenever you want, game is looking great tho i like it

Had the bug happen where i lost all my stats again. Refreshed a few times and am beginning at the start again. No option to check cloud for further progress

Is there a reason that all of my stats decrease if I choose not to increase them? Seems kinda silly to increase stats only for them to decrease as the game progresses
Hi, this only happens to ASPD and CRIT DMG as they do not scale exponentially like all the other stats. These 2 substats slowly decreases with level but can be easily increased by spending stat points on POW/AGI. In the previous versions, increasing POW decreases ASPD and increasing DEX decreases CRIT DMG. We figured that this would be a better solution. If it doesn't sit right yet, we'll figure out something better. If you have a suggestion, please post it in the forum and we'll consider it. Thanks for the feedback :)

Seems like the boosts given by dex/vit/agi/pow inversely scales with level. Its confusing that my character feels weaker upon leveling up (before spending my stat points)

I need to change my chicks outfit. or pick my own chick at the start. I could use a new bow as well. or maybe upgrade to a cool gun or something. I would also like some different creatures to fight. Im like lvl 90 and on my 5th reset, am I still only able to kill bunnys?

Small changes but making it way more enjoyable.
However I have a complaint!
The game remembers that I don't need a tutorial but it erases my progress :(...

Okay, just had a second suggestion. Since I've made the same mistake twice today. An undo button on spending skill points, or an "Are you sure" prompt before exiting the window might be nice. With of course the option to disable the prompt in the menu. Since not everyone accidentally buys 10 of a skill when they meant to just get 1 T_T

Enjoying the game so far. The only major thing that I would suggest right now is a hotkey to advance to the next stage on the keyboard. When I'm actively clicking enemies to speed up my progression, it breaks the flow dramatically to have to stop attacking to hit the next stage button. Since they are unused, hitting D to advance to the next stage would be simple, or binding it to the arrow key?

Potentially good game. I see a few Problems.
The Essences you get are too randomly and the Reroll costs more the more often you use it. This might force you to take Essences you dont want but on the other hand increase the price for the next roll of Essences.
There is no Goal one is looking forward to, like Milestones or Quests or something that will give me some nice rewards which boost my progression speed that i can feel it, like more dmg, more anima, etc. Also starting always from level 1 with +- the same speed, makes it somewhat boring. If you are able to hit higher levels and you are forced to reset to get Anima, you should be able to get back to that level fast. I can increase the attackspeed by putting points into Agi, but it scales weirdly; putting points into something else makes me fire slower again???

Thanks for these comments. I agree on most of your points and we'll definitely note this. Regarding the transcend cycles, we have an overkill system in place to get you back to the stage where you left off. If it's not enough, we'll think of something better. Thanks!

I think that the archer should be shooting all the time even though you are in the stats or anime etc. Also when I am upgrading I find it annoying that if I do *10 I won't see what that certain stat will be if do upgrade it.
Plus I feel like you shouldn't have Strafe, Balista, etc until you buy it/get it later in the game or were you trying to see if we liked it?
All of our mechanics are open for changes based on user feedback. We started out simple and we plan to have more fun and complex mechanics as we go. I like your idea so we'll probably consider this in the future. Thanks for the feedback!

i know its in beta but this game is embarrassing! the amount of lag it produces makes this game very hard to enjoy. hopefully it works better on firefox. hopefully.
Hi, we have a problem in lag but it should only happen after hours of playing it (due to memory leak). Can I ask you what browser are you using and if this happens to other Unity WebGL games because this doesn't happen to most of our users.

I.... don't know what happened, but i think it might have to do with my new motherboard... My old one went out, and i've suddenly lost a full months worth of progress X_X No way to externally save kinda screwed me over....

One thing I thought would be good that you could unlock or have in the beginning is that later in the game, even without using one stat point, you can 1 hit kill things. When you close the game, you are stuck on that one level that you saved and closed on. It would be nice if (like in other game), you would progress through the game (to the highest level without dying) thus making leveling faster. After the balance the makers of the game did, leveling up was made much much harder.

Only recently started, I like it so far, but I have to say. While I like the fact that each stat seems to affect the others, I wish there was a way to see how they would affect each other before committing to an increase of one.

One of the best looking idlers I've seen for a long time, but after playing a couple hours it feels painfully lacking in content and progression. Looping constant resets to roll the dice on essence upgrades gets boring. Have I just not gotten far enough to see the other content or is it simply not here yet? Great potential so far but would like to see more.
Hi, we only have the core gameplay for now. We'll add more systems for progression while we're in beta. We're currently working on a new system we call "Traits" which features skill tree for passive skills. The trait system will be using a different progression system. Uhhhhhhh, my game broke :/ i was playing and on area 9 stage 7, i got this....
Out of memory. If you are the developer of this content, try allocating more memory to your WebGL build in the WebGL player settings

Hi, there is a problem with import/export in Unity games and it'll take time to hack around it. Instead, we're working on a cloud service (a better solution) that would be bound to your Kongregate account (no registration needed). Did you get wiped on the current version (0.3.1) also? Feels pretty bad to have had ALL of the progression nerfed at once. Seems a bit overkill to me. Even with the gifted anima from my previous progress, my new progress is painfully slow. I feel like if I were a new player, I would quit pretty quickly.
The previous version was way too fast. Some players capped in a few days and couldn't even reach Stage 30. We made sure that after capping the essence players would be able to reach Stage 30 but the pace is still in the works. We are currently interviewing our most active players to observe this. I have noted your feedback and we'll do something about it. Thanks for the input!

hey, I'm not sure how practical this may be, but I'd like to see separate audio sliders for both music and sound effects. I know it's possible, at the least, as I've seen it in other flash games.

wow the respec makes the game unplayable. i got 4 +stats but none of them worked i still olny get 1 stat point per level. really frustrating

As someone who just started yesterday, I'm liking the balance changes. My click damage had grown so quickly that the archer was irrelevant. So far the archer has been a lot more useful than before. Also, thank you for getting rid of misses in favor of a damage range.

Save issue is till not solved. After grinding for some time, I clicked to save the game, reloaded the page and gone was all my progress. :(
