I don't know if I can explain how, but I experienced a few very brief pink box errors. No where near what it was, but it would covered about 35% of the screen when it did.
Hmmm... if you're ever able to reproduce it, please send a screenshot and your DXdiag output (if you're using a PC) to ElementalSupport@roadhouseinteractive.com. I'd love to give this information to our engineers to dig further.

Also, mandatory tactics cards? Is there any inherent reason for making it a requirement? I sacrificed most of my tactics cards only to find out that they were required for the deck. It gives you a warning for the monsters but not for the tactics cards.
Thanks for reporting the bug relating to tactic card sacrificing. If you've gotten your inventory into an un-fixable state, let me know and we can fix it for you. We've just uploaded a patch that fixes this tactics sacrifice bug. Also, relating to mandatory tactics cards - we are playing with different rules implementations within various game modes as a potential future update.

So, if this is a port of Duel of Fate, then why can I not see what the monsters can potentially be? Or at least include some sort of index that includes monster evolutions that you have discovered/what to sack in order to gain that monster evo again. Other than that good, job. The win graphics look like they were not developed for operation on the pc though.

um... I just got the "pink pixels" bug again. I am fighting the 4th guy in the last section of the campaign, my maxed out skeleton archer faced his power 50 fire spirit thing that will heal for 50% of the next foe if it wins. After losing the fight, my skelly's defeat animation had the pink pixels.

Actually. Hell. Now that I think about it. Why don't you just make the energy cost apply AFTER a match so it does effect server errors.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The fact that a server error removes my energy and doesn't get me my rewards for winning a battle is VERY annoying and it happens way too often in the beta build for it to be a minor thing. Seems like the error checking should check for server errors and give 10 energy back since that's what you would've lost.

great, your update cleared all my gold and runes, if this happens outside beta, it's gonna be a riot.
feedback: too little gold from missions; packs over-priced; VIP pack is ridiculous, it drives free players away, while those who buy it will be subject to ridiculous RNG, not appealing to both populations.
There's a known bug where the game shows 0 gold and 0 runes at the first menu, but this value updates once you change screens. If this didn't resolve your issue, please email ElementalSupport@roadhouseinteractive.com and we'll get your account sorted right away!

The anime facade was almost enough to scare me away... Usually, when I see a game composed with that crap anime style I steer clear. Then I saw the top bar was in the wrong resolution for the window size and grainy. No point in trying if the devs don't try. Shouldn't have this bad of an impression a few minutes into the game.

Great, I beat the campaign. Now there's no point in buying new cards because there's nothing to do but grind and kill the same stuff over and over.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well, I beat the game. A few suggestions, aside from the obvious:
-More sound effects
-Cheaper boosters
-Game disconnects every once in a while losing my data from the recent battle; that should be fixed.
-Perhaps some items that give abilities, such as pierce defense and poison.

Could you possibly add to the history bar exactly how much damage you did and how, I'd like to learn how exactly the cards effect each other.
ALSO *BUG* The Swamp Mushroom's description makes it sound like it needs to win to use its effect, but in battle it has to lose to use it.

This game really surprised me. I expected another boring energy game, but this is actually a sleek, fun card game. I can't wait until it's finished!
Could you possibly help us track this down? http://www.kongregate.com/forums/286-elemental-power/topics/330668-bug-inventory-cannot-be-accessed?page=1#posts-6950224

More avatar choices would be nice, or at least being able to change avatar/character or purchase new ones.
Other than that and some minor issues it's very promising!

In the inventory screen I only see two cards and halves of two others. Is there a way to re-size the cards so i can view the other half of my cards?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yes, calvinbah, it's like rock, paper, scissors. The only reason power is a factor is when you "tie". It's such an easy game, just takes forever to get gold.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm just saying. If I have a monster with an attack of 54 versus a monster with only 20 but I still lose because the element beats me; even when the monster doesn't have an ability.

Some kind of feature showing which cards you have and which cards you don't, like a bestiary or catalog. Maybe each page can show a tree of everything you can evolve to.

Really tired of this sound bug that won't let me turn the sound off. I want to listen to my music without the cards' sound effects messing up the flow of the music. Please get to this ASAP or else I'm going to lose interest in the game if I can't listen to music while grinding for gold.

You know. I remember a time when gaming was about gaming. It was about creating something fun, refreshing, ground-breaking or heck even moderately captivating. Game developers did what they did because they enjoyed what they did. Sure, they might have asked for a few bucks to eat so they could continue doing the good deed, and in return they would give you something *not game-breaking* that made the experience feel a little more your own. Nowadays, every single flash game and their mother has either a cooldown time or an energy system. Making us either wait or pay. Rather than enjoy the game. Nowadays games aren't so much about being excited and accomplishing something awesome, but paying up your hard earned dollars so you can win for awhile before paying up more hard earned dollars. I get that the developer has to eat, but creating a system that ruins the games experience as a gamer makes me feel insulted. Cut and dry is cut and dry, and the golden era of gaming is over.

1. An energy system is a good way to completely alienate a significant sum of players.
2. Will it be possible to change avatars in the future and pick male/female etc?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yea, energy in a game like this is pretty stupid, especially when getting gold is annoying enough. You're just going to end up deterring your players if everything is a hassle. Hopefully you're bringing in new cards soon, because it's getting repetitive seeing the same cards over and over.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Whats the point of grinding gold for evolving if it fails every single time! Devs, this game has great potential, please dont ruin it like this!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great game, BUT, very very scammy! Gold is near impossible to get after the first 3 missions, and everything costs huge amounts of gold! Unless you pay a lot of real money, you can't advance at all in this game (nearly as bad as Tyrant). It's very unethical to pretend that your game is free to play. I suggest more ways to get gold, and remove that "more missions, less gold" nonsense. Also, there's false advertising in the Shop page: 6 of each pack is not 24 cards but 144!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What are the requirements for getting a card after a battle? Sometimes I get one, sometimes I don't. Is it random? I haven't really seen a pattern to it.
