The combat system makes no sense how can 2 of their fighters take down 7 of mine when i had 10 AND then 1 of their fighters survived!?!?

Squadron of 1-9 planes spotted.
Squadron contains 3-11 Messerschmitts and 2-10 Junkers.
11 planes in a squadron of 9 planes?

yer its ok game played it for an hour got to day 33 then it just felt like no point to it
but it was good i would find my self with only 7 planes when i would get attacked at 3 places lol 3/5 lota room to put some new stuff in :P

A squadron of aproxx. 1-7 planes spotted. Squadron contains 2-8 Heinkels and 0-6 Messerschmits.
If you can find the mistake, your better then my 73% accuracy spy machine...

The events are very annoying. Get rid of them. They remove so much of the strategy. Also recruiter limit is too low. I was needing more then 10 new men most rounds.

You should make the intel. page on the same page as the city area. It gets confusing when you have to keep switching pages.

this game is playable to a point... didn't find it all that interesting, you only really needed to max out on recruiters and then keep a healthy supply of planes and pilots, but it really fails in the intelligence department... spies.... who needs spies when you've got RADAR??

You should Add the number of planes about to attack each area on the areas map. I hate having to go back and forth from the intelligence screen.

I'm sorry, but i gotta start with the bad things. The balance is completely messed up. Flying with 2 spitfires against 15 or more enemy planes is more effective than flying with 15 spitfires. Sometimes even one of those two planes survives and they shoot down 5 to 10 enemy planes.
Work on a fair balance and the game would be really cool.
For now, its just a 3/5. 3 stars for a cool idea. Not more because of a shitty balance :/ im sorry dude

this is a little boring, I suspected a nice shooter or a verry tactical game but this goed about luck and the enemy is with way to many at the beginning, like in level 2 I had 2 and they had 5... unfiar 2/5

Why does the lower half of the screen flicker green? Happens on the 'recruits' page, at least, but only on the bottom half of it.

It _IS_ a good concept.
However, it is FAR too random. I send two spitfires against 4 fighters and 6 bombers and shot down all but 1 bomber, with one spitfire surviving, and another time 6 spitfires against 2 fighters and 1 bomber and all of mine get shot down? Now, i have nothing against some "randomness" when it comes to things as air dogfights of the era, but SOME consistency would be appreciable.
As would be slightly more options. Let my split my intelligence between finding intel and affecting random events. Start me with hurricans and let me "research" better models/weaponry. Make combat more clear and less random.(e.g. 2 rounds of fire, one fighter vs. fighter, second your fighter versus their bombers, their fighters against your fighters)...

Game gives you way too few options and resources to work with at the beginning. Feels like you start out with a Banana Republic instead of Great Britain. It depends too much on chance and lucky guesses compared to strategy aspect. Hmmpf, basically a very promising game, but too annoying to keep me interested. 2/5 (barely)

How the hell do I lose 2 out of 6 spitfires against 2 unescorted bombers? These aren't B17s the Germans are flying. Fun game though. 4/5

a funny little story about a game similar to this: combat wings Battles of britain. A game without blood corpses and real violence ( you shoot the planes they chrash thats it) fsk rating 16! Age of empire 1 is bloodier. why i think its fsk 16: the pilot said "ass" one time! 8 year old kids know harder words!

Love the game. Only issue s the fact that, for example, when I defended with 40 planes against 10 I lost 25 planes? Is the loss calculated as a percentage? I seem to loose much less if I go max 2 to 1. If I go more then that the plane( and pilot) losses are almost game breaking. 4,5/5

1940: The British came up with the perfect plan...:
"shoot down 300 enemy planes to persuade the germans that they cannot win"
....
35 days later... "Mein Furer!300 of our planes have been shot down by the British!!"
"Damn them! Alright...I am pursuaded enough, call off the war!"

Fun game, like it a lot. I notice that when the workers get "sick" they manage to use up the materials to make the planes anyway... very annoying, doesn't make sense. Also, on the cities view it'd be nice to be able to reset individual resources instead of just "all".
