Meh this is all rather boring, with combat simply equating to click click hit/miss, click click you're dead/you win, here's money so you can afford weapons proportionate to your new opponent so you can survive to click click again. Nothing remarkable.

This is one of those games that shouldn't be fun but it really is. Let's face it all you do is click the mouse and yet it's engrossing. Also why do I get nervous when my health is down to 5%? Very good game.

It has potential, but it is full of bugs (lol) and it's impossible for me to beat the last boss even with all equipment and rosters unlocked.
I use repellants, grenades, best rosters, tried it without, etc... but this battle is to hard.
You should be able to win every time if you don't make mistakes, never by pure luck (like when the enemy always misses and you always hit with 2nd attack)

"You will need a combination of good equipment, good tactics, and a bit of luck." Straight lie. I was having a blast, such a good game, then ran into the final boss, gung-ho and maxed out, and got MOPPED. Changed strategy a few times - not that many option, best gun/armor a must, then attack or defense (roster), use items or not - all worthless. Difficulty scale so ridiculous that it becomes all luck, so 1/5 for now just for such a big stupid letdown (and yes, i DID finished so this isn't just raving)

For those encountering a ‘whirling background in battles/battles not working’ bug: We have had some reports that some bugs could be a result of using an adblocker. We recommend disabling adblockers when playing the game just in case (don’t worry there aren’t any ads in it!).

Would be nice to select targets by up right side boxes (or adding a health bar on bugs to be able to select low health targets for example)

simply getting runs of bad luck is not an indicator of a broken system
after all, even with 95% accuracy, there is still the possibility you could miss multiple times in a row

Good game...but the fact that I have to be on mochi to play another area and to use other items and weapons Ticks me off. I am on Kongregate to play games. If I have to go somewhere else. you get the lowest score.
if the game worked it would be great. The % per hit seems off. as well as the riot sheild does not work ( maybe on mochi games ....) and the last fight is super lucky because th guy killed me three times . just hitting me twice takes more then 100 hp. You should have more evasive suits or something, the stun grenade is useless.

There are some minor troubles with the combat system (like it's better to not kill off weaker enemies as they take up the enemies turns), but it's a pretty solid game.
Definitely needs some cleaning, though.

Don't know why, but whenever I enter a battle, different backgrounds are flashing by and my enemies don't do anything, so I just stand there waiting.
So I can't really play the game...

Besides the often mentioned hit percentage, i think the main character could use more armor or more health. In the "endgame" the bugs are really too heavy. And what is the healthpack for when the bugs make almost the same damage as it gives health? maybe a portable 100% healthpack would be useful.

I have the same problem as others: in the first fight, the background locations switch crazily, I can do one attack, then no matter what I click on, nothing happens...

tip:reloading the game solves most bugs(and creates some(like the glitch where it says you have and dont have a item at the same time))

Rob, you should really think about putting in some Kongregate API. With this rating, and API the game will surely get badged. Then you will make a lot more revenue, and more people will play. + this so he sees it.

This game's pretty good, and has potential, but some things need work. First, there's not much reason to try to scan/search/etc when you'll probably want to check every box anyway, second, there isn't much reason to bother with ranged weapons until the end of the game, they usually do about the same damage as melees, and at a much higher cost. Also had the 'monster was supposed to be dead but stayed with 0 health' glitch, and isn't the riot shield supposed to block against the bee stunning? If not, the stunlock of the bees should be addressed.

I would like a effect of like bleedin, or burnin, with like the guns and stuff to like make the bugs lose dmg over the turn, and an effect for the baseball bat of the option:"home run" got 20% to make the bug fly off the screen(wont happear anymore) dont know if its a good ideia but oh well press + if u like it

Think the hit rates might be a bit off. I've just missed 10 times in my last 12 attacks on the 70% hit chance with the melee weapon. Not impossible of course, but from counting most of my other battles I'm alot closer to 40% overall than 70%

I agree; the hit percentages do seem quite clearly off. 70% chance has failed four consecutive times, twice, and 95% has failed twice consecutively, on two separate occasions. Bottom line, please check your formulae.

The percentages aren't 'gisted'; the problem is confirmation bias. You're looking for an anomaly, and the first one you see is considered proof that the percentages are wrong. Do it a thousand times and see if it's far off.

And two more things. For weapons that shoot multiple bullets in one burst the to-hit-% should be calculated for every bullet individually - when I'm shooting a 10 bullet burst from my UZI at three opponents with a supposed 80% chance of hitting, then how can I miss with all of them?
And secondly, you should be able to use a 50% medipack in the screen between missions too instead of having to buy the 100% pack imo.
