@LeviWilliam Square holes accept round blocks, that is intended. But round holes don't accept square blocks. If they do for you, then you found a bug.

might be my computer but when the squares are introduced, sometimes round holes accept square blocks and viceversa. am i missing a concept? level 19 and 21 do this.

I kept waiting for the tutorial to be done and the game to start. And then I reached the end. The problem with these simple puzzle games is while they may be good for a relaxing time, they aren't really a puzzle. I only had to restart twice the whole game and that was when something new was introduced that I didn't know how to do.

This looks like a fun game. Unfortunately, it sends Chrome's (on Win 10, nothing else running) memory usage on my machine to 4 GB as soon as it loads, then it crashes.

This game deserves better rating that it has! It's interesting and has quite a few levels. The dev worked hard to polish it, and it turned out well. Thanks Mozai!

short, decently fun, didn't crash my pc even though I played on chrome...but cannot seem to find levels 36 through 38

finished! now, can someone explain (here or by PM) what are the "PucksSunks" and how to increase this score? thanks!!

Game loaded up just fine. Then I clicked the options menu (to turn the sound down a bit) and it crashed. And I don't mean the game, chrome itself crashed with error "cannot reference memory at address *some number*" Restoring chrome and the game page and everything works fine now. Good game once I got past the crashing. I'm on Version 64.0.3282.167 (Official Build) (64-bit) if it helps
Thanks for the report. Clearly I need to optimize my memory usage better. I'm guessing once Chrome's memory is fragmented, it cannot handle an unoptimized WebGL game. That is probably why it worked OK when you started Chrome fresh. I'll work on it, thanks again!

This may be the most brilliant game but.. but it took 10 minutes to load and froze my workstation twice for a total of 15 minutes. What is this? Photoshop C6 loads 10 times faster and use less system resources than chrome running this game. SiNKR made my PC SuNK.

I really enjoy these kinds of puzzle games - just difficult enough to provide a challenge but varied enough to keep it from getting boring when the rounds get tougher. The gentle music is a counterpoint to the concentration necessary to play, making for a nice little break during the work day!

Absolutely needs an undo-button. It's just frustrating when you make one wrong click and need to start all over again.

I love seeing this type of game, with an abstract art style, ambient music, and unique puzzle solving mechanics. I just wish there were a bunch more levels. 4/5, but once all 9 level tiers are finished it's definitely a 5/5.
Hey there, glad you enjoyed the game! The full game is complete and will be arriving on mobile this week. Steam is done now. I'm also discussing bringing all 60 levels here to Kongregate at some point. https://wahler.digital

Delightful puzzle game - similar to others but very unique. Great tutorial, smooth ramping up difficulty and introducing new elements - will definitely come back to finish the levels I didn't have time for today!

Fails to work for me too, crashes with the "oh snap" message after a minute or so. Using Chrome v64.0.3282.140 64bit as mentioned on another comment.

I have a problem when playing this game. After 1 or 2 min. it shows me the message:
"Aww, Snap. the browser has problems loading this page"
I am using Chrome and I don't have this problem when playing other games on Kog. I don't know if the problem is on my end or on yours but I know there is one.
Thank you for your time
Hey there, thanks for the report. I've read of this issue on the Unity forums with Chrome versions 61 and earlier. It doesn't happen to me on Chrome 64 but I'll try increasing the memory a bit and upload a new version to see if that helps you.
Thank you and @jennalou for the bug report. I can duplicate it on Windows but not on macOS my primary development/test system. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I will look into how to fix it ASAP.
EDIT: I just oversized (Feb 10) the WebGL container by 20px, a full browser refresh will load the new size. That seems to have fixed the problem for me. I hope it does for you all as well. Thanks again for the report.

Am I the only one with side scrolling bars ? Because I do, even though my screen is far from being filled with the game...
Beside that, nice game, not too challenging but still alluring enough to make you want to finish it.
Ack! That isn't good. I'll have a look. Can you tell me how to repeat the excessive usage? I test using latest Chrome and Firefox heap snapshots, they are pretty constant across play sessions, at least on macOS.

Level 19 establishes the idea that you can put circles into square holes. But I think the reason some people get tripped up by level 35, is because levels 20-34 don't have valid solutions which involve putting circles in square holes, so players are likely to forget that it's a thing you can do, especially if they play in multiple short sessions. My suggestion: in levels 20 and 21, and then about once every three levels after that, replace one or two squares with circles (but don't change the holes).
Thank you once again for your insightful feedback. I will have a look at those levels and see about reinforcing the circle / square mechanic. Much appreciated.
Hey there! The game should automatically save the last level you completed, your in game achievements, and stats, if not, then that is a bug (sorry!). Some browsers handle Unity WebGL better than others, I've had good luck with Firefox and Chrome.

Lovely game. Though either I misunderstood something or there is a mistake in level 35. There are too many circles relative to the designated destinations. Some of the square destinations has to be circles or some of the circles has to be squares.
Thanks for the kind words! You should be able to complete level 35. The circle/square thing is actually a mechanic that I maybe I need to introduce better. I think I tried to teach it on level 19, the first level a square shows up.

The game has promise, however could do with a at least 3-4 new game play mechanics as well more interesting level design. Have you thought of incorporating dimensional planes? As it is now this is just a novelty.

This is "Hook" without being it. Similar Idea, different outcome. A few of the earlier levels feel a bit too easy (more like an extended tutorial), but the difficulty rises up nicely later on, without being frustrating. Fun to play!
The possibility of reeling in a hook completely at once by double clicking would be great though.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ok the art style is similar to hook but the mechanics are different, instead of detangling wires you're using them as knobs and dials to push balls into their properly ordered holes.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There were several moments where the complexity of the puzzles initially scared me, but the solutions were surprisingly elegant. 5/5 from me whether I had finished or not, but I'm glad I did
Thanks for the compliment! Yes, Hook, a standout puzzle game inspired me. Also, Klocki: https://www.kongregate.com/games/targaciej/klocki, Lyne and other minimalist games. Hook & Klocki creator @targaciej was kind enough to give me feedback on an early unreleased version of SiNKR, much appreciated!

Hmm... having finished the game, it seems to be unfinished. It only goes up to level 38, even though it clearly indicates that there's going to be nine tiers of levels. Also, the last three levels have practically no challenge to them at all; it's very anti-climactic after level 35.
Fair criticism, thanks for the feedback. I've removed the last three levels from the unfinished sequence. Hopefully it ends on a better note now. EDIT: The full version is finished with 4 more sections, 2 new mechanics and 60 levels total. It will release on mobile Tuesday Feb 20, 2018 @ $0.99 USD. The Steam version is available now. https://wahler.digital
