Under rating threshold (show) I say the quickest and most easy route would be start with the most modern and work you way back in time, then move forward in time. And on the plant... let time pass before you try to dig it up. Also, i only found 8 critters!

Under rating threshold (show) Found an annoying bug. In the laboratory part after youve worked the machine you can pick up the metal rod again and then you wont be able to place it in your inventory. You will be stuck in that lab.
