Suggestion. When you get to higher levels, you should be allowed to keep one item per run. There's a little too much left up to luck when it comes to equipment, allowing you to keep a weapon in exchange for xp maybe?

i have cookies enabled but the game says they arent and wont let me play anymore. i really enjoy this game so it's a shame i can't play.

okay my new favourite thing is the dwarf's purple worm yodel! the lich casted enlargement spells on it so it could kill the lich hahahaha

Maybe there are just more monsters now, so it seems that almost every room I enter greets me with monsters on 2 or 3 of my sides (surrounded), making getting hit and/or using a scroll mandatory.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not so sure, it seems almost every room these last 2 days has the monsters mobbing the entrances....it makes you use your jumps or haste scrolls....otherwise you will get hit.

The March 5 Update changed the game in ways that made the game more challenging without increasing the difficulty. +1 for awesomeness

If you get a weapon/shield from a chest or rack and it's worse than your current one, you should still get something. That much of a bonus, maybe?

I like it when the mage dragon enlarges the purple worm that is attacking him. Please leave it as is....can use all the help I can get.

Great game! You asked for comments and suggestions, so here they come. Thinking about the character that is played, set in a village that seemingly doesn't have any other defenses, they are forced to rely on the dungeoneer for help. If that is the case, it doesn't make sense that the quality of equipment continues to get better with each successive round. There should be a cap on quality that a small village can provide from sheer lack of resources.
A higher reputation, as noted by the dungeoneer's name becoming a profane term when they get high enough, should also attract the attention of other villages and cities on a world map. This could give players the ability to travel the game world to break the monotony of only slaying dragons as the main climax in the dungeon. Perhaps a demonic portal has opened up and threatens another city. Maybe a thieves guild network hampers the dungeoneer in some way for its own gains, etc.

i like this game but i hate when there is two or more items in a room cause i will only get the first one as the character goes to it and then kicks me out to grab the other items
If this happens, you are still getting the stuff, it's just not being shown. If you experience this again, please go back into a room and click the feedback button on the lower right of the screen, and explain what happened. Thanks!

I can only see a black screen since yesterday, playing on Safari. Someone else with this problem? it´s a pity cause I love this game

I like the dragon mages update. it sometimes makes characters other than the warrior desirable in the dragon fights, rather than only very rarely. it also adds a layer of strategy there.

I remember why I stopped playing this game. Me-MissMissMissMiss Monster-HitHitHitHit. It gets annoying not being able to pass the first stage. All sweet, I get to upgrade my sword,,,, spinned a 2 again. Sorry, you need patience and luck to play this game.

Dragon mages are fun. My human had a +9 sword and was attacking a red dragon one-on-one without scrolls. A pair of dragon mages had been enlarging everything a lot. I had a heroic strike with maximum attack roll and it still missed the red. Of course the follow-up feat strike also missed. Still I slew them all in the end but it was interesting for a while.

I really enjoy your game! I've been playing it for the last few months and I had some thoughts to share.
1) The ramp up in difficulty and power progression feels very off. I can't pin down exactly where, but between unlocking abilities and the dwarf/elf, there are massive stretches in progressing through career mode where the game becomes a massive grind. Early on, needing to go through white/black/green/blue/red before getting another dragon is super tedious. The differences in breath attack stats is not meaningful enough to differentiate one game from the next.
2) How does one view their on statistics? For example, on the leaderboard, one can click a player to see that player's breakdown of games. I would expect to be able to do the same by clicking on my name at the top, but instead, it just allows me rename myself.
3) Why isn't there an easy way to see your total experience bonus from all three game modes?
You can view your stats by clicking your name on the standings list. We will be adding a way to see your total XP bonus - it got delayed because it will be part of a larger redesign of our start page.

Horrible balance cleared first dungeon getting spanked every time in the second as there are now so many mobs to kill in each room and no health potions. Basically a grind fest with little to redeem itself from the gutter of crap games.

Don't know if it's just on my end or if it's the new update, but somehow the Bow and Shield icons have gotten switched around. Monsters show their defense bonus as a bow bonus, and the icons have switched places in my hero's stats window.

If the background doesn't load or some other feature is missing from a room (it's rare but can happen), simply choose options (lower right corner) and "continue later" and reload the room. But first send a bug report with the in-game system, it's 4th button from the right in the lower right corner.

So the game bugged out on me with the background missing and one of the slimes' picture missing. I tried making a move thinking that would solve it, but nope. Instead I'm greeted with a defeat screen and my latest death being due to "resignation." Seriously? Now one of my defeats will always state resignation. Which is super annoying because it's now a permanent stain that will make it forever more difficult to maintain my 90+% win rate.
On top of how the game gets old pretty fast and that it takes a long while to unlock the elf and the dwarf without wasting money makes this an automatic 1/5 from me.

Fantastic and simple game. Brings back memories of good old times when I used to play some book D&D with friends.
Only things I miss in this game are more dices like 1d4 or 1d6.

The new dragon buff only makes the game harder. At least add potions on chests at a random drop chance, also stealth scrolls are too rare now, I even had 0 on one full run I did

At the top of the game screen are several words, clicking "Rules" surprisingly, shows the rules. If you wish to know about selecting heroes, clicking "Heroes" tells you what you need to know. About experience, you still get to see how a monster dies, possibly learning something in the process like "Oh that's what happens when a purple worm bites a giant's head off. Hope it remembers to chew, intact giant skulls cause terrible indigestion and ettins are twice as bad..."

can the developer understand that 70% chance should be in our favor? I keep missing with that, it's like.... 30%=sure miss 50% sure miss 70= might hit and 85% is finally a hit

No I havn't yet. I kind of figured that it was premium content, but it wasn't obvious what was going on. Side note, I find it funny that I still get experience even though I might have nothing to do with a creature's death

Agree with Ravensvoice, +7 versus +9 gear can make or break your dragon-killing spree. That's why I'd welcome a new level, cave, dungeon, etc. with a new miniboss or two, guarding golden chests or equipment. It would help against having only +7 gear when facing 20+ dragons. Make it unlock at fame 100 so it won't unbalance the earlier game. Please.

having just managed to get to rank dragon slayer here is my opinion on the difficulty sofar: at 17+ dragons you can definately notice that bad luck early on can make the final fight very hard or even unwinable. fortunately at 20 dragons that is still fairly rare. losing before fighting the dragons can almost allways be avoided so thats good. having a 9 sword at the end compared to a 7 sword is still a huge difference though.

Kobolt trickster fireballed, Elf dodged, counter attacked, trickster died. Elf then carried the fireball plume around while collecting artefacts. Wish i had taken a screenshot, it was pretty metal.

I don't understand how to progress from level 15 onwards.
Why is there a cap of 9 for all weapons/shields?
Do I have to grind (despite what I was instructed to do)?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Maybe rank players also on success rates, not just max. number of dragons once killed. Might put some perspective on the rankings. Maybe adjust rankings by multiplying with the success rate. So kill 10 dragons in a game and have never failed a dungeon, you are as well off as someone who kills 20 dragons but flees half the time?
I'm not sure we should put that kind of pressure on career mode. That's what Campaign and Tourney modes are for: to prove your skill in an environment where resigning is not an option.

Great game. Two suggestions: give small exp bonus for finding inferior equipment. And on the character stats screen, give info on most frequently killed monsters, in addition to most frequently killed by...

Well done lads - a really fun to play game. Wonder if a story mode would be feasible with specific quests per chapter - optional ones too - like slay 2 worms or enter a specific room and kill the queen. Again well done for constantly improving the game

Best flash game I've played. looking forward to more content, only bug I've found so far is the dragons can cast enlarge onto a purple worm that is attacking said dragon, which isn't really important and might not even be considered a bug >.>
