To all of you complaining about RNG; you are simply not good at the game yet. I've only started playing it recently, and in about 10 games or more, only lost once. Don't blame RNG. Grow up.

The balance after rest is pretty bac. I haven't been able to get past 2 rooms since I hit level 2 and sometimes not even past the first room.

Can't change characters. And villagers provide no gear. Human knock backs enemies so they can't be attacked on his turn. Wtf ?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Six rats in the last room before the exit. Completely surrounded. And every creature does damage regardless of armor. Get it together.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah. This is not a game of skill but of chance. If you can't even balance it so one can pass the first dungeon after multiple tries then please stop making games.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah. Roll time needs to be reduced. And the VERY FIRST level needs to have much greater rewards. The one health potion is fukcing silly.

LOL, on one of the stages a purple worm killed the dragon... Remember, kids, purple worms are your best friends in this game XD

Having to wait 3-4 seconds between attacks is pretty much a deal-breaker. Maybe it's tolerable at first, but watching these die rolls over and over is going to get old fast. Also, the slot machine/loot box style treasure chests are incredibly tacky. It's stuff in a chest. Just show is what's in there. This is a dungeon-delving game, not a casino.

Just bought 50 kreds to support you, because Kong lacks good devs these days (it's all about idle games, which I consider to be unfinished games). Kind of disappointing though that it takes a full $10 to unlock the entire game (full experience gain, plus other two characters), especially when it's more of a mini-game than anything. No offense, but anyone can get Final Fantasy games on PS2 for $5-$20 a piece, and those are full blown actual video games, developed by multiple teams of developers. If you want to cash in on your work, you should probably lower your prices, because, honestly, there really isn't a whole lot here that made me want to spend any money at all. Still, 5/5
Villagers now award trinkets for luck. (So their help is now independent from loot.) Each trinket converts a defense roll of 1 to the max roll. You get more trinkets as your fame rises.

Really good game but it needs more rpg aspects. Only XP and linear abilities is not enough for me to continue playing. Choices, build, could be better. But hey i rated this game 4 stars..:)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the overall idea of the game is great, simple dice rolling, lvls up and dragons. the bad part may be the frustration when you get killed by a tiny little spider because of bad rolls and no equipment at all. very slow progress and if the maps are almost the same, playing it a 1000 times might be boring and repetitive. give longer/larger maps with safe points.

"Oh, my items disappear after each game, waaah!" "Oh, the number generator is bugged because I got hit three times in a row, waaah!" "zero stars because this isn't an idle game that I don't have to actually play, waaah!" 5/5 for making the kiddies whine :)

I dont understand the point of XP. You gain it so slow it wont make a difference unless you play a dungeon a hundred times.
Yes, XP progression is slow. The best way to speed it up is to win games, so that you can face more dragons (which are the best source of XP), so you can start with better weapons because your fame increases with each victory, and so you can gain the XP multipliers that come from moving up to higher Circles. P.S. We just cut the amount of XP needed to go up levels in half, so progression is faster now.

This game is not a cakewalk! But it is possible to beat. I'm at FAME 31 (from beta)and I know what I'm talking about
Also game is playable even on stupid slow work PC w/o video card. No problems with loading for me. And yes, bad luck strikes hard =)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Maybe it's bad luck but the first dragon I encountered I couldn't hit him at all, it has +11 defense and my best weapon only had +7...

Nice premise but between premium heroes locked behind obscenely long grind times, and the rng being so extreme, think im gonna pass; game is basically decided after the 1st couple rolls and types of equip looted, basically 2-3 +5s, youre good to go, else just abandon

Game mechanics aren't to bad. Graphics and music are nice to. Would be a decent game, even with losing your equipment, but every step..loads..so..effin..slooow..(and it's def not my connection speed)
Also, the game-window is to big even if you fullscreen the browser. So an ingame fullscreen option would be good.
Regarding the slow loading speed:
- What exactly are you seeing/doing when you are forced to wait?
- Does it happen consistently, or just sometimes?
- What machine/device are you using?
- When you are experiencing problems, could you do an Internet speed test and tell us what your connection speed is?
Thanks!

I really want to like this game; it's a fun idea and has some nice mechanics. But I swear I spend more time waiting on the server loading stuff than actually playing.
Thank you for telling us about the server delay. Most players don't suffer from this, and our servers are not overloaded. Yet there are people complaining about it, so we'd like to figure out what's going on. Could you please help us by answering these questions?

RNG is a bit annoying, would be great to take a weapon to the next round. Got to 3 white dragons and it was just too repetitive for no reward. Good game though

The ability to swap heroes is interesting. I understand the rule that we need a clear path to the caverns to swap, but we shouldn't have to actually go to the caverns to do it. Give the option to do it in the other zones too, which would be greyed out in the rare cases where you don't have a clear path home.

The Gas Spore Conjurer will sometimes try to summon mobs onto a pit. He can fly, so he seems confused about whether his summons can also fly. Seems like a bug.

I haven't been able to play for now 3 months. It always redirects as though I need to sign in again on the game's main website and when I do it redirects me to Kongregate home page for some reason... when I'm signed in on Kongregate with my Kong Plus account where I played 4 months ago last and got in leaderboards at #20, I'm not allowed to do anything but read info about the game or change my in-game name. Everything else works, but I can't play the game itself. Even when I attempt making a new account on the game's main site, I still get redirected to Kongregate despite having no connection between the two... 1 star for now, if I can play the game It'll go back to 5 stars because I love this game when I can play it...

In career you should be able to keep your looted gear. Otherwise it's just the same grind as the regular mode with zero point.

I like the concept of the game, but some bad rolls or bad loot or bad spawns mean you can waste a lot of time with no chance to win. For instance, when the first two levels spawn all bows and you get +3 on each of them....which means you clear an entire area while basically getting nothing at all. Very frustrating game.

I have to pay real money to acquire the other heroes? Um, no thanks. Other games like this use in-game money to recruit other heroes.

It would be nice if there was a way to speed up the treasure spins graphic. It's a nice graphic, but not needed after the 500th time. Let me click to cut to the finish. Or better yet, a fast spin/roll toggle in a settings menu, so I never have to wait for dice rolls and spins.

If death always hits, he shouldn't waste our time rolling a hit die. Gargoyles shouldn't be able to turn to stone and instantly turn back to flesh - it just feels dumb and wastes time. If the enemy has higher defense than me and I roll something that cannot possibly hit, he shouldn't even roll the defense die.

People complain a lot about RNG, but I do think this game is particularly impacted by a bad RNG. It only takes a couple bad equipment rolls to ruin a run. Strategic play can help overcome that, but it only goes so far.

Cool, just managed to kill 5 dragons. I am soooo happy I strip naked and run back to town. Then remembering I left all this great gear I return to the caves to find what I left and get taken out by a rat...O_o
