Well.. I have very mixed feelings about this game. The concept is new and unique. I liked it. However, the current system explicitly shows the "thieves" by displaying straightforwardly or by low karma. It's not like you can steal once in a while and get away with it, since people will put you in blacklist. That shows that the community is nice and all, but this ultimately makes the game mundane. I'd prefer if your nickname and karma remained hidden at all times during any tier (and maybe for the fun of it, add a 20-30% chance of showing the karma of each player in any game). I believe that behind anonymity, the community won't be so nice.. :)
And that's the point of game theory. If you know the other guy, the "theory" goes out of the window. By tagging yourself as "thief" is kinda shooting yourself on the foot too, that's why everyone splits.
TL;DR
Make every game anonymous, the current system is boring for me (and probably for other people).

the game is really stuck in login process, this is defnitely not my pc issue, and i wonder the developer is fixing the bug , he seems not helping the minor since most of people do not have problem, i am sure the new update could be a bug issue mostlyand the update not in right time. i hope the developer can fix the bug of the game ever it is just minor problem to minor people.i hope developer not overlook the minor people, isn't the duty of developer to solve the player issue on game, but i don't see the developer do the duty of his job. i am saying the global chat storage could be main problem of this issue of 90% loading lag. i hope the developer can take this problem seriously, not just most of people do not have issue, and not even solving the minor people problem, are minor people also not a human?
Hey Sky - I spoke to you a few times in regards to this. This is a problem that's been noted on the WebGL build of the game in 1.4, particularly on devices that have a low amount of RAM available. As I said, Firefox seems to be the most stable for people on these devices, but it's not a guarantee. The Kartridge version however, does not have this problem - it'll also allow you to configure lower settings if required. I spotted your PM yesterday stating that you couldn't register for Kartridge as your email was already in use on Kong - this is correct, you don't need to register a new account! You should just SIGN IN with your Kongregate details. No new account is needed. If you sign in with your Kongregate account, you'll be able to download/play on your old account as normal.

this game would be great with no heavy 3D but simple design, so it can be quick, I can't play because it is too heavy :/

unfortunately i was the only one playing the game so i didnt get to try it. seems like an interesting game. wish more people knew about it or just played
Not quite :) there's definitely a lot of silent hours at the moment however - peak times tend to be around 6/7pm UTC. The game is currently being ported to additional platforms with cross-play enabled in order to allow for a far more active userbase :)

Normal queue time is 2 min but its actually areally fun game. Only hope is more players can come and make less repeat games. 5/5

Split or Steal is my favorite game on Kong, except of course for Creeper World. Seriously, why are you playing Split or Steal when you could be curtailing the forces of Löki marauding through the universe? But it really is a much different game, so I don't even know why I'm making the comparison.
I like Split or Steal because it is a excellent metaphor for contemporary economics.
Note to Dev: I currently have something like 23 hot dog stands. However, as my company is expanding, I am finding that my fictional empoyees are complaining about the food selection. Not to mention this one dude will only eat halal food and this other lady is Koshier. Could we, perhaps, get other food options, such as to prevent the human resources mess which could obviously ensure.
Player numbers are unfortunately pretty low at the moment - we've a total of around 200 Players a day in total, but usually capping at around 12-13 concurrently. This can lead to a lot of repeat-matches, which can really remove any tension from the game. The upcoming 1.4 Update is being built to target the Kartridge and Steam platforms, which will share the same userbase as Kongregate - which means that we should all be seeing far more players, and far less repeat-matches once this patch has launched.

This game demonstrates why the Prisoner's dilemma, and capitalism, never made any sense to me. Co-operation results in lower net loss. People are willing to make small sacrifices for the greater good, especially when all out hostility results in the greatest loss for all sides.

To everyone complaining about how the game is nothing like the Prisoner's Dilemma, it says that it is based on it, not the exact same thing.

Dear Rootpew, you replied to my last comment where I suggested having an anonymous gameplay mode aswell as higher tiers. Now theres's T8, T9, T10 added as high stakes (anonymous) mode, unfortunately though in my opinion it does not make the game more compelling (to me at least). It seems now everyone just skips through T1 to T7 to enter high stakes by always splitting. Having Karma on top of showing whetever you've stolen before seems to encourage splitting even more than before. In high stakes now you can identify people by their appearance. I'd reallly wished for a truly anonymous (high stakes) mode that's independent of achieving a certain Tier. I see you added a lot to the game though and see where you are going which I can understand. Good luck with it anyway!

At high stakes, the enemy should remain anonymous. Else it robs it pretty much all sense. Right now the game is just split all the time, without a high risk of getting something stolen. This would crank up the gameplay somewhat
