Well basic tower defense what can i say else? Sure, tower ideas werent that bad, but only one enemy type made the game quite ... sluggish and uninteresting.
only 2/5 for me

on a whole, i llike it altho i do find the missiles WAY overpowered, but i like the idea of you towers all starting the same and evolving

It takes waaaay too long to get through the levels past about 60. It took twice as long to get from 60-80 as it took to get from 20-60. Getting money by that point is also ridiculously difficult, slowing the pace even further.

it's funny because a lot of folks here are bashing the randomness of the ant movement and the inability to build a maze. yet, if it was like that, these same folks would be saying it's just another TD.... And while it is old, at least it's different. Clearly there are several decent strategies to get people to levels 50-70, which is nice to have variety; but what about beyond? a speed up button would be nice. there's too many gun options actually for my liking. game got a bit laggy too.

It will be better with a upgrade tree and less random movement and stuff, this make the game more luck-based than skill-based.

Went full electrics up in the corner near the anthilll... made for a quick game, which got me to level 77. The game's painfully slow if you don't build everything near the anthill.

This game have been out quite a while, but i think that just means Kong wants to throw in achieves. Can't wait for them :D

Right then. Ignoring my initial concerns... The game's pace is downright glacial, tooltips are lacking at best (for instance, it would be very helpful to have an additional bit of text saying what the tower does and what makes it special), and the random pathing is, as far as design choices go, really stupid. The only reason I'm not giving this a 1/5 is because it's technically FUNCTIONAL, even if it doesn't work as a game.
