If you go with more strength instead of speed, you basically can't beat the last level. The computer puts up a tower that you just can't get past and you're done. 3/5.

neat concept, but too much relies on whether you choose speed or strength. The right combination makes some levels ridiculously easy, while the wrong combination renders a level impossible

ant queen dead first time i used everything on speed so i got ant 3 and just took over everything and kept sending everything i had at her = owned

@gatherer - it seems to me than when a colony changes hands every enemy tower within it's range is destroyed. Fusterated me to the point of quitting once

ARGH, I don't get how the turrets' deaths are determined. I thought at first it was just losing the spawner that built them would blow them up, but I lost three that game that were built by one that not only didn't drop below 50 bugs, but the only ones that could attack it were ALSO above 50 bugs. I just don't get it, and that's gonna have to cost a star. 2/5 until the bug (no pun intended) with the turrets is fixed. (it's happened before, just not as bad as on level 7)

the possibilities are endless. great game. though i'm only giving a 4/5 because its too short.

Note: If you choose to only upgrade speed, you WILL die on level 4 or 5 or 6 or whatever it is when you fight hoppers. Not just lose, but you will be steamrolled. They grow faster than your ants, hit harder, and move just as fast. I attempted to make a bulwark, and even with my last colony surrounded by around 20 towers, it got overrun. Hell, man...

Anyone who lowers their score for a game because it lacks badges is an idiot. It doesn't get badges until people vote it high enough. Ask any of the admins. -.-
If you wanna see badges on a game, vote 5/5. ugh.

okay.heres the facts:
for Ant stack speed
for Beetle stack str
for Roach its 2 str 1 speed
There is no known way to get a hopper
there are 6 medals-
1:Larva Killer : Achieved for bringing 1000 enemy larvas to their end
2:Ants Breeder : Achieved for successfully colonizing 2000 units of ants
3:Life Trader :Sacraficing your colony for 100 towers (I find that lvl 8 is easiest for this, the 4th achievment)
4:Badge Hunter : Achieved for scoring 66666 of total points
5:Beetles Fans : Ahieved for colonizing 2000 units of beetle
6:Queen Slaughter : Achieved for killing the queen in bonus mode

i think speed 3 times might get hopper so why dont you guys try it. P.S its only a guess so far the ones i DO know are 3 strength=beetle 2speed + 1strength=ant 2strength+1speed =roach

on level 8, it's near impossible to win, I've got 800 roaches level 3 in the bottom hive that can attack the top section, as well as about 15 or 20 towers attacking the paths, but I can't get the enemy nest under 3, because then they just send more roaches from both nests instead of just 1!!! 1/5, terrible game.

finnaly figured out how to beat lvl 8. u have to first gain all of the empty bases in the bottom 'pocket' then turn all of you people on the remaining red base. (dont worry about teal yet) kill the red base, then send all of your troops to the contending base against teal. as soon as you have 25 ants in the hill, make a tower (keep sending your troops to the base or it will die) keep making the 25 ant towers in the contending base and also put about 5-6 around the (north-eastern most base ) at the very edge of the radius, working your way back. (note)[do not let teal make a tower in the 'contending middle spot' this is very important] as soon as you have enough towers, send your troops to attack the first teal base. continue with that style, use some ingenuety and hey presto! youve won =) hope u like it. keep this comment going!
