I'd like to either not be able to attack while the opponent is changing people, or not have the attack miss and my AP wasted. Also, could there be a way to see enemies' stats?

I've just beat the game; here's my advice: every time you get stuck, you need to learn a new game mechanic to progress. Just because you can't win by abusing the same tactics you've used the whole game through... doesn't mean you can't win. Use your head. 5/5

im frustrated by that monster that can heal itself, because every time it attacks, it heals the amoun of damage ive delt and then attacks me for some of mine. Theres no chance of winning.

great game, kept me entertained for a few hours. you guys are complaining about the auto save.. i dont know if it really should be added, because sometimes you buy stuff (spells, monsters, items) to see how they work with your group and if you dislike them, you can just exit and load the game again. with autosave you might not be able to do that.
just finished the game, and one thing i noticed is that sometimes you MUST have consumable items to beat certain levels (which is fine, because they are quite cheap). also, if you are stuck on a certain level, try to figure out the which spells you are facing and get a monster resistant to it (or equip one with resistance).
5/5

some of the battles are kinda drawn out: if I have a swap-out strategy and am hitting the enemy with a strong creature w/ a super-effective attack, I shouldn't have to repeat it so much (like w/ the shadowy tiger thing near the end), but still a pretty tight game, just got boring due to that problem at the end

The AI is dumb as a rock. To compensate, you gave it powerful monsters that are not available to the player, using powerful attacks that are not available either. That's pretty lame, and it really kills the game. Of course there are minor nitpicks like not being able to see the AP stat of creatures in the shop, no autosave, no way to 'scan' the enemy for level and weaknesses, stupidly limited items and skill slots but overextended and useless space for party reserves. No way of knowing what monster drops what component, no difficulty rating of battles so the player has an idea what to expect. And it follows the epic rule: epic in the title -> game not actually epic.

You get to a point where you can't beat the next enemies, but the experience from the previous battle isn't enough to level you up sufficiently. If I had specific materials to make one or two specific items, I could probably keep going. However, materials are so rare to come by, and I have no idea which battles produce which materials. That's why I have to only give it 3 stars.

Some tips:
- good grinding spots are: 1st boss in the desert area, then 2nd boss in the winter area (just use vampire or ghoul), then 2nd boss in the desert area (use dragon), after that you should finish the game
- the ingredients: lucky coin-2nd battle in the winter area, golden eggs only after you've finished the main quest (common), diamonds are buggy (mistaken for fire opals), so you won't be able to buy them, but the grinding spot (above) should provide some
- tough figths: generally use the combination of defensive and offensive creatures - stack up the APs with defensive one and then use the offensive one to deal damage. This should get you through the game. For the final two bossess don't hesitate to use items with +AP - this makes it ridicolously easy (altough costly).
