There's really nothing I can say that hasn't already been said about this. Addicting gameplay and just gorgeous artwork make this a classic.

Xyvax, This game is popular because it is fun. If you don't like this game or just can't beat or whatever. Don't insult the game, instead tell the creators how it can improve. If a game is really popular and you personally don't like it, there is no reason to comment that it is a game you don't like. Don't bash the games on here, either give improvement or just stick to the games you enjoy playing.

tip: on the fith cave even if you have the mana keep the goblins. it slows down toe goblin by making it spend most of its time attacking a bad troop.

pkmn900 I agree with you completely. I enjoy epic war 2, 3 & 4 the most. It still does not change the fact that they almost remade the entire game, only keeping the basic principle of it. Which is why I think that this is a spin off series. I also don't like five, it takes longer, they got rid of a lot of features I liked in three/four and the art work is TERRIBLE!!!!

They're all the same... except the Mana and Defense... but MAna is much more important. In that respect, see top comment 3, and so green is the absolute best.

@Deltawolf Well, the thing about 1 and 2 were that they were ridiculously long and difficult- I've completed 2 but I've only beaten 1 on arcadeprehacks. While 3 was very radical, I personally feel it was a major improvement. It was kinda short though (Let's face it... it's short) and so 4 was made almost identically, just longer and more challenging. 5 was very different. I didn't like it, and many hail it as a step back, but 5 still incorporated several nice components. I just couldn't get past the artwork. Regardless, I like 3 much more than 1... grinding forever on the same level for that wizard isn't too fun.

I think to beat any cave, the two cards that are absolutely essential is the Dragon Rider and the Phoenix Strike. Phoenix Strike is easily the best spell card and can get you out of trouble quick. Dragons are always a pain to fight against, so it's good to have some on your side.

i love this game.but the thing is,i like epic war 5 better because your units dont move when you dont send and in this game, they move even if you dont press a button i hate you've got to fix that part of the game.

Best Way to Destroy Enemy castle for beginners = Get close to the castle, send full hp goblin wave, Goblins spam castle very fast :D
