Taurus, Dwarven, Knights, Wichtes, Magic Cannon and Demolition Guys -.- The game`s kidding...

Its pretty easy just hold back a couple of your stronger units and let the weak ones weaken it. Also phoenix storm and the succubus make it REALLY easy

maxed out frost giants and taurus warriors as front line, followed by maxed out centaur archers and lvl 4 magic cannons with maxed out bombers and healing crystal ftw :P well not ftw atm lol

is it just me, or is the Yellow Dragon boss practically impossible? all my cards are maxed out and i cant beat him on this current campaign

well the last castle to beat too hard beat the big monster and then a giant rush of critters cards random to get or you gotta destroy castles for em?

It might just be me.. but.. their hero seems to have no life now.. he can doesn't even kill my first wave of defense. And this is at the very beginning..

Basically you need 2 "tank units" (and titans are too expensive imo :P )
These guys stand in front and take the blows, their most important stats are: HP, HP, HP, HP, AOE attack, HP. You don't care how much damage they do, they just gotta take it.
Then your back row should consist of as many ranged you can field. The "best" for me are: Witches, Succubi, and the cannons. They all knock opponents around/multi hit/stun.
That leaves 1 slot for "fun stuff" which I usually take a healing crystal along to keep the front line happy.
Your front line is the most important, if it falls you die, keep them happy with spells ;)

I hate how if you slaughter your enemy you get very little XP but if you toy with him you can gain tons of XP. Maybe a speed bonus should be added for quickly killing the enemy.

ATTENTION PEOPLE THAT KEEP LOSING!! 1) Do not forget to equip every card possible from the beginning. 2)UPGRADE UPGRADE UPGRADE, the is strength in numbers 3)New cards are assigned every 3 lvls, so don't forget to check equip. 4)Once in battle have your hero take out the the waves of minions, but don't have him attack the base. 5)Once all your tanks and minions are fully charged bumrush the enemy base. 6)Let your hero in and out of battle and heal/recharge minions accordingly. Minions will do most of the damage. 7)When you feel overwhelmed retreat, most hard enemies won't follow you. 8)This lets you refill your ranks and let your hero take out minions before. 9)Rinse and repeat. 10) Re-post this if people missed my mini guide.

I had thought this was a good game.
Until I got to a map where I'd killed EVERY single one of his units. Then a swarm of about 50 Centaurs popped up, pretty much simultaneously. How the heck did he do that? Once it was on the field, there was now way to defeat him, no way to even field any more units. LAME LAME LAME. WORK ON THE BALANCE.

When the counter attack starts, keep spamming fire spell, and sending support troops. Later on, you can spam the phoenix spell and wipe out most of the counter attack mobs.

A simple summary is level your tanking unit (minotaur/purple dude with big sword/dragoon) as much as you can before anything else. Then get as high as you can for the fire spell (this makes it easier). For each round, start by moving your units about a meter from your castle, this way your hero wont get slaughtered in the beginning from auto-attacking. Then scroll to the enemy castle and use the fireball on their hero, try avoiding the large clump of mobs that hang in front of castle. Then stack your units (don't use hero) and keep spamming fire until their hero dies. After that, use fire on the clump of mobs in front of their castle, and take that out. When all those mobs are finish, just send ALL your units to the castle (repeat). If the enemy has mermaids or succubus cast fire spell and kill them that way (lvl 4 basically kills them). When you mob of units are closing in on their castle (about 80% of the way there), send your hero in to attack.

No idea why people are complaining about the difficulty. It's not like the past games where you blindly continuously send waves and hoping you can outproduce your enemy and beat them. This version actually requires some brain power. Though, personally, after about the 2nd level, I've already got a strategy to beat every level.

When the opponents castle passes about 66% he spawns a "revenge wave" this is when you see if your defense stands or not... in other words: this is when all your units should be ready, and spells charged ;)

wtf? i was about to win, their hero was dead i was hitting their castle until suddenly a massive group of enemies came and killed us with those cavalry with big axes and stuff. how did that happen? that was stupid
