love the trials! Fun. Each revenge horde, comes yet another titan :D. At one point, you'd be fighting an huge army and about 2-4 avatars at once.

to beat cave 5. get lvl. 5 witches, goblins, centaurs, phantom armors, taurus warriors, and black knights. wait until all units are full then attack. use fireball, lightning strike, and meteor to stop all of the suicide goblins. if u can keep all of your units from being blown into the air then ur units will be able to stop the invincible goblin from advancing. good luck

The 5th cave was a piece of cake next to the 4th one. My army consisted of Frost Giants, Taurus, Black Knights for Melee, Succubi, Witches and Mermaids for ranged. Basically, once I reached the castle, all I did was spam comet and used Athena and the damage buff and the castle walls fell, healing when neccesary; although a few of the frontline troops fell, once Athena was up and more arrived, it was just a slaughter.

cave 4 is most challanging as lord of shadows(or the end)is the strongest unit beside the goilbin in cave 5 even using the most mana hero.

i had to beat like four titans until i beat cave 4... i had to use athena, and zeus alot of times. pheontix saved me, wiping out there waves

wave 5 is easy. engineer, goblin, black knight, centaur, canon, witch, healing, comet, arrows, meteor, hercules, lightning.
comet every cd and kill packs of golbins and arrows. send a knight out and one range to kill off goblins while you wait for every other unit to max out. once maxed send them all in. lightning and meteor super goblin. activate hercules. watch castle die

I've also had a problem with the screen scrolling either to the right or left. It's really frustrating when you are in a tough battle and all of a sudden you can't see what is going on. I've found that pausing the game usually fixes the problem.

btw titans are ok not really good for I went to do CoT 1 again with only titans(big mistake) and their titan KILLED 3 OF MINE! All of my titans were level 5!
You need to have other units to support teh titans otherwise they die against the spam waves.

Constructive comments: Game lags. Starting out with only one guy is brutal. Game seems to take forevever. Mouse will get stuck and auto-scroll to the right. (Sorry, I'm just hopping these help some.)

Mermaid is a key to win fifth cave. She constantly pushes the supergoblin back. With her you can have whatever units you want...

It's better to use your phoenix to kill them, instead of your arrow rain, if they come to close and have 2 of the really powerful but small area of effect spells to take care of the revenge waves.

Guys the 5th cave of trial is hard, but beatable. All u do is get full unit (succubus, witch, centaur, black knight and goblin). WShen u get to the castle, use athena on ur melee units, and hercules on ur ranged units. Then use phoenix to knock out their revenge wave. Continue hitting the castle until it falls and use ur healing potion over and over again. Keep hitting their units with ur comet.
