Good idea: Spooky little goblin that's very very hard to kill. Bad idea: Invincible mob that you can't even damage unless you guess the right unit to bring along. Really lame stuff. On the whole, this installment is quite disappointing. Without the direct user-controlled defense element (the spells barely count) which the early EW's relied on, without manual control of building, without any real resource management, the game devolves to a one-dimensional slog, with the single strategy of screen, mass, rush. Yawn.

Tyrant Lord Baal... I don't know if there is an easier way to kill him, but you can summon the tower (spell from the 4th hero tech tree), and aim it to shoot at him. Keep all your units back at the castle, and you can kill him that way. Just be advised that this guy has a LOT of health (I'm still working on taking him down this way). He's just standing here and taking the hits. :P

Heres a very good way to make money:1 Complete all 12 levels.2 Beat Tyrant Lord Baal on Normal Mode and Hard Mode.3 Do Tyrant Lord Baal Epic Mode.4 Hit the flag in your mana bar. 5 Click Surrendur.6 You will get $60000. 7 Complete steps 3 through 6 untill you have enough money for anything you want!

can't believe this game was ever on the front page. It is as horrible and un-challenging as the last one. How can you guys give this game a good rating? Did you not play either of the first two games? They were awesome. This is junk.

lol my pixie charged because he had no one to heal then he went to the enemy's castle then 70 enemies attacked him and he dodged the enemies on his way but i think you know you should make the pixie always stay behind? cause that was sort of BS.

For all those people asking for an autosave, why don't you just get in a habit of saving urself? It's not that hard click the save button.... wait for a while and taaadaaa!!
I really think the ballista from EW 1 and 2 should come back because those were really cool it made the game easier but not too easy, but since arrow is considered an element now i think the new ballista should be non-elemental, and there could also be an element equip thing for the ballista.
If you think the ballista should come back into Epic War give this a +!

There is a symbol above the minimap that lets you see if your spell is still operating. It doesnt tell you when your spell is going to fail but it dissapears when spell stops.

I think there should be an upgrade 6 to make your units colored. Such as a pink succbus (Level 1 (epic mode) ) who shoots HUGE flames, or a blue forest sniper (level 9 (epic mode) ) who shoots like 20 arrows per ranger! Although it should cost like 100k If you like it give a plus ^^

For Tyrant Lord Baal on epic, keep in mind that 'Explosive' damage (fire) heals him. This means that arrows from the Epic War Tower, most spells, and the Lord of Fire (the Djinn or Genie-like Titan) are completely innefective (and counterproductive). To kill him, since it's hard to get past him to kill the castle, you can use Meteor Blast (from the green skill and unit tree, last going down from Elf Snipers). Using Berserk and Rage can greatly increase the damage, but you'll need a fully upgraded Altar (two to the right of Heal, in Simon's [the wizard's, or blue,] tree. Sylphs can stay out of his view to attack him, but sometimes move up too much after a few attacks and end up getting killed by Baal's sword. Once he's dead, send everyone you have at the Castle, and be sure to have some Mana for the Shield spell (after Altar, Simon's tree) because there will be a Revenge Wave and 'coloured' (red Super Units) ranged units that hide behind the castle.

I found "The Final Battle" easy because my firelord simply spun past her into her castle and started destroying it. I simply supported with heals and I won because we destroyed the castle never having to actually slay her. :/

i think everyone should stop whinning that its to easy cause if you would actually play more and unlock hard and epic you dont really need the fastforward thing that everyone seams to want but probably isnt going to get

Suggestion: Let us pick of the 3 heroes instead of just giving us red at the start. simply give the blue one a unit next to it rather than a spell and it'll be set.

....There is no autosave?! WTF!?!?!? I just grinded the hell out of this game for three days straight, decided to refresh the page since some things on the page stopped working, oh look! My fully upgraded heroes/titan/units are gone! woohoo!! Seriously what kind of serious game like this doesn't have an autosave....wtf

In my opinion, there should be an option to make your troops hold their ground. I have to make them just go back and forth if I want to do that.

but... at any rate :P i love the game :O (you just lost) that's why i keep going and going by trying to get the progress i lost back :p
