What a strange game. No tutorial, no help, no useful information at all in the game description. Am I supposed to play the first three installments before playing this one?
All I see now is a map with roman numerals. I have no idea yet if this is a tower game or a shooter :)

loads of good ideas here, but still needs some work.The scroll needs to be faster, (click to scroll on the minimap, need x2 x3 speed button, autosave, button to shut sound/music off ingame, hotkeys.) Game is very good, but listen to the community and it will get better.Got that...Yeah good.

Here's some help. Challenge 1: Use Meteor Blast (Skill) or Sky Dragon (Titan) to kill the black imps. Challenge 2: Use Stop (Skill) to slow bomb and aim upgraded Popo's(hero) attack to hit the center for max damage by moving him back and forth when needed. Challenge 3: Use Shield(skill) until your Diablos and/or Lord of Fire goes directly on the boss. Then go afk for a while. Alternatively, do it the old fashion way. Equip your army with melee attackers only. Let heros stay at castle. Click 'March'. Get Comet(Skill) and use it to kill the enemy's succubuses. This will take very long. Final Challenge: Max shield(Skill) and charge the base while keeping invincible up. Use imps to slow the boss from advancing.

This game is worderful. It takes stratedy/defence games to the next level, but in my opinion Epic War 2 is superior for its advanced graphics over Epic War 1 and its more complex and in depth story line over Epic Wars 3 and 4. Also because it allows the player to see in number the exact health of a unit.

xxxxx32, after you beat all 12 normal missions you can do hard mode, the button will then appear next to the button for normal after you click on a mission

There's quite a bit of trouble with this. Namely the fact that mana increases do nothing useful (making a pure magic or similar to that build useless in terms of growth), revenge waves can be absolutely ridiculous (as is hero downtime) and there's not enough information on each of the creature stats. I mean, how the hell was I meant to know PIXIES are god damn healers? The most useful units in the game... And it doesn't tell you they are?

Why does the idiot human knight hero stap with sword but deal no damage? Just to waste the time and let the enemy pwn him?

This game is beyond retarded. I'm sitting here, watching my Fire Titan just go left and right on Baal despite my many, many orders telling it to go a mere five extra paces forward. To see an epic line of games like Epic War be reduced to this level of suckiness is pathetic. 1/5

I'm happy with the badges, but couldn't there have been one for getting all the in-game achievements?? I mean, I actually ground out all the tech levels. Would have liked to get some gamerscore for that.

this game is great! but i guess it's a little too easy. i passed all the epic level with the same strategy--
1) afk for like 2 minutes to wait for mana to recharge
2) roll the slow moving dogs over
3) start the invincible spell
4) move the whole troops over
5) start the invincible spell every 20 seconds until their castle breaks...

Change my rating to one after having played it some more. When you get to the "harder" levels, all you _have_ to do is load it up and go AFK for about an hour.
No skill, no fun, no way to perform it faster.

For those who want to know when your spells will run out, above the minimap, the spell icon apears when you cast and dissapears when it wears off
