Takes the worst feature of starcraft/warcraft (your individual aggro'd units charging forward and attacking too early) and distills an entire tedious game out of it. Strategy consists of trying NOT to over-damage your opponent's castle with your stray units until you're ready to block their automagic revenge waves. If I wrote a really bad chess AI, I wouldn't advertise "if you feel my game doesn't require skill, try playing against epic mode, where my AI gets ten extra queens."

I'm surprised that that hard badge wasn't an impossible one, but it's probably more of a repetitive time thing anyways. I got bored and stopped at 12.

Everything is fine but why is the computer A.I. have better game control how they can stop there troops wherever they want?

A useful feature for a future epic war is a end game or giveup becasue sometimes it can take forever to know that your gunna lose or forget to equiped units

yes! i beat lvl 16 on epic!! i used mad bull, mighty guardian, phantom ghost, untamed beast, valkyrie, and weretiger. wait till 152 mana then use timestop, after that use shield every 40 or so mana count and youll win no problem.

The new spell counter doesn't tell you how long it's left, just which ones are active. What we really want is to know how long it's left

at the start the opponent is why too strong.. you start out with a goblin and a hero for 2 rounds and on the second round he has a minotaur or whatever and a centaur.. its a bit unfair.. but still possible to kill... your oppnonent gets too many creaturs too fast...

i think SCUBBYxREBORN means that we should see a timing or at least a countdown before the effect suddenly disappears...just so we can use the effect again. this would be helpful for invicibility and the time stop spells

If you plan on making a fifth here are some features I'd like to see in it, I would like to see new heroes/units/titans/spells, When you upgrade the castle/units/titans/spells, I think it would be cool if the look changed, like if you upgraded a wall on the castle, either the wall gets bigger, or a new wall is put up, and a unit maybe gets new armor or weapons, titans same, I would like to see more levels, more themes, the enemies castle should change it's look on each level or so, a speed up button, and anything else you can think of that the rest of the community might like, please give this a + if you agree with me and like these ideas. Thanks.

Cool game but,IMO it is inferior to Epic war 3.
1.The battles aren't quite as...epic. Especially when you have to care after 3 heroes instead of just 1.
2.Overpowered enemies. In EW3,there were only 4 super strong enemies,titans,and the invincible super goblin. Here,we have,not only reddish enemies which are ridiculously strong,we also get black goblins which OHKO everything and absorb nearly everything,next Baal. He can OHKO a Diablos...really,the fight with him is just too boring.

Not bad so far, fun new way to play. I kind of prefer the system from epic war 2, once mana stopped screwing me over.

if there is a fifth epic war u should put some updates like : choosing your own starting hero, more levels, stronger monsters for everyone, and a hero for the enemy team.

@UBERAWSOMEST:The glowing/abnormal creatures (Pink Succubus, Big Mad Bull, Blue Elf Sniper) have some sort of advantage over others, Pink Succubus has multiple fire waves that increases in size and has a damage boost. The "archers that shoot 10 arrows at once" are only your foes, you cannot claim them. There might be extra things other than health and damage boost in Hard or Epic Mode.

@jxnaruto you can control the EW tower, you just need to press up or down on the arrow keys. It controls just like it does in EW 1 & 2

What i think would be cool but isnt needed is if u could control a monster if you like double click it so you can advance and do wat you will with the single monster, also i found that my first hero the one with red hair would attack and the monster had moved so i found myself waiting for him to stop and move forward, also when i called a monster back it took l a lotta luck to make sure he walked back before he died. Also in the arrange section i would enjoy to be able to see the units stats even if they are equipped because i found myself a little irritated that i had to drag out all my units to build a better army also there should be a speed button and a way to like hold back a certain amount of units like if your trying to keep the enemy back long enough for your main troops to get able to plow through ex: 15 goblins out hold 10 back until i launch all goblins. thumbs up for any of them >.>

there need to be outpost at about 1/3 of way and 2/3 of way so ranged units can post, then melle units will have to beat it down or ranged v ranged so they can get taken out of tower (plus if u agree)

So uh. Why do you have it set up so you have to wait for your heros to spawn at the beginning? This game is an enormous amount of waiting. Please have it so heros are in place at the beginning and include speed up buttons.

As a fan of all the Epic War games(though I haven't mastered them since it's most time consuming, which is another of my favourite aspects of the game) I've loved the evolution of gameplay and depth that's come with each sequel. It is definitely one of my all-time favourite Kongregate games and I can't wait for the next one. Keep up the great work!
P.S. great job with the hero-army complex and the techtree system. Much more unique to the player in comparison to its predecessors.

mko, caves of trials are pointless here, considering that you get bonus challenges onjce you beat "The Final Battle" and you buy units, not unlock them after a certain amount of experience or an achievement
