Ngoj Are you that dumb that you can not grasp the simple concept of using a different browser? its not like he can just remake the day in one game to use settings that wont conflict with the issue with chrome.

Yeah… not being able to reconfigure the attack2 (right click) is not great for some of us, mac users… 2/5 until it is fixed

@shadowmoses: The primary reason behind poor performance of browser games is that the majority of them use flash (which is an absolutely huge performance hog). The hope is that eventually HTML 5 will replace it and this problem will go away, but in the meantime all you can really do is make sure your version of flash is up to date and that you don't use Chrome - Chrome uses it's own version of flash that is significantly slower than the primary version.
Flash for Linux is also pretty cruddy, Adobe stopped updating that a while ago.

Runown, please, do something about the meelee players, with frosty tome now relesed, there's not even any point in focusing meelee, as it's worse in every aspect. Thank you

Frozen Tome, or should I say shotgun, is just so fun to use, especially when you can upgrade it a few times and start wrecking boss fights. Thanks for bringing it back!

what are some good ways to improve the perfomance of browser based games. on good pc's this and the last stand games all run at a low frame rate

The first boss teleported behind a wall, and stayed there. And you apparently designed your game customized to perform poorly on Chrome. :(

09/06/2014 update on Newgrounds: "v.2014.6.9 - Frozen tome is now obtainable (due to a glitch, it was replaced with another item)" --- If anyone was wondering, that's why no one was getting the item!!! Let's hope the Dev updates here soon here too

Amazing platformer. It is very enjoyable in every aspect, from the smooth controls to the fun combat and the interesting puzzles. 5/5, very enjoyable. It's a bonus that the graphics are fluid, the controls are responsive, and the difficulty is tough but fair- you never feel like the game's too hard, just that you're good enough. It's like Rogue Legacy in that respect.

For equipment I found this worked best: Halberd, Wooden staff, cursed amulet x2, full iron armour, running shoes or winged boots. Alternate weapons being elf sword and lightning rod. The halberd is just too high range to give up for a few damage(also much easier to deflect projectiles) when you get most of your damage from cursed amulets anyway. The Wooden staff has low cost and can be shot in a straight line.

UNIQUE ITEMS: WHERE TO FIND THEM
1) Masamune, "a legendary sword said to be blessed with holy powers".
Treasure hunters will need: (a) 3000 gold, because the sword must be purchased from a silent old man; (b) a pair of Running Shoes or, better, the unique item number two (see below). 14th dimension, hardmode, second screen, far on the right. Climb the wall, follow the platforms, talk to the npc.
2) Winged Boots.
15th dimension, hardmode, first screen, far on the right. Climb the wall until you find a treasure chest.
3) Lightning Rod.
Treasure hunters will need a pair of Winged Boots. 11th dimension, hardmode, first screen. Reach the roof of the tower and let yourself fall on the right; reach the lowest place, then start going left using the delta powers. Reach the triangle, make the ground under your feet disappear, go left until you find a chest.
Please rate up so that everyone can see.
PS: I wish a good life to you all.

I loved this game. I didn't stop playing until I finished the story. Quite addicting, easy, but challenging at parts, and overall one of the better games I've played.

so... it turns out that over enchanting a book of winds is actually really annoying when a simple tap sends you flying.

Wonderful game. Lot of fun to play, a fairly large selection of equipment, solid (and changeable) control scheme, and great music. 5/5 for sure. Just a couple of small things: making our melee attacks go towards our cursor rather than simply go in the direction that we're facing would help, and try to add more story next time. Terrific job overall.

The last battle should be EPIC, but it was actually quite easy. Won on first try without even upgrading or buying anything at the shop. Quite a let down. Otherwise really nice game

Great game, I've only played a little bit right now, but you obviously put a lot of work into it. Clearly it is quite underrated, my suggestion would be to change the default controls so that "W" is jump and space takes you to the inventory screen.

Game was good. Until i reached the desert level, where theres a light bulb. And I cant activate it without a sword. Sadly, Im a mage, and I dont have a sword with me.

Good Game!
Minor Bug: A magician that shoots something fell at the bottom. After vanishing at the screen, the enemy teleported to the leftmost part of the screen, the area where the hero starts after entering a new area, and still alive.

And sorry for missing this, sometimes you'll be unable to grab onto ledges. Just release the horizontal key. This happens because you're bumping into the wall because of speed and prevents you from grabbing it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'd like to say one thing. As long as you keep speed at around 25,you CAN easily control the character with experience, and its a lot more useful than what the top comment makes it out to be. Wall bounce helped me in one case, and you'll be grateful for the insane jumps and stupid speed as you feel like a ninja, slashing the enemy's chest in .25 seconds and the enemy's back in the next .25 secs.

Reminds me of Catlevania: symphony of the night, to be honest i feel like a youngster again, awesome game looking foward for a second part or more of your games.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it gets so tough on hard it's unplayable with lag, but still deserves the 5/5 because with smooth graphics this would be a very accomplished game. story's short, but doesn't pretend to be the point anyways.

after playing story mode and enjoying the game's pacing, i find the challenge of hard mode surprising in a very pleasant way. i like the upgrade system, find myself having to think through situations much more on hard mode. playing on chrome, so i gotta take a break because my game's too laggy now, but very enjoyable game, i'l be coming back to finish the last levels
