Honestly this cube escape was GARBAGE. The puzzles are downright ILLOGICAL. Why the hell would you put an ear into a plate? To teleport inside it into a tunnel that teleports you to where you were. WTF? How am I supposed to know this kind of thing?

I can't go through the final door (=finish the game), even though it's open. Damn you, bug. Even 'completed' the game twice, still doesn't work...

There's definitely something unnerving about how naturally Van Gogh fits into the tone of this game. As soon as I saw the reflection holding a knife...

With both its theme of Van Gogh and its surreal look into a twisted, tragic mind, this game certainly left a Post-Impression on me. As in, I had a lot to think about after I beat it. I don't think I'll ever play anything else quite like this game, even its counterparts in the series. That's one of the things it left me to think about. And for that, I applaud thee, RustyLake. Keep it real...surreal, for that matter.

compared to the rest of the rusty lake series games, the ending was terrifically anti-climactic, however the ear part was very unsettling in a Rusty Lake-esque style

First thing i do: click the picture thingy with the glass bottles on it. I see there's a corner coming off. Click! it rips. I try it on the other pictures, and it doesn't work. Usually in these games i click everything...

@Rose3210 You should've found a gun in the ear tunnel. Look in the mirror in the second room and make the shadow figure shoot itself.

I think that most of the time when people leave low ratings on point-and-click puzzle games, it's not because the game is bad by point-and-click puzzle standards, but because they don't like point-and-click games in general.

Nevermind about the question mark in the ear. It is for the "?" on the painting but if anyone wanted to know where to find that symbol, there you go

For the painting, if you fill in like 50% of the painting and then it will auto fill. For those of you who are OCD about staying the lines, once the painting autofills you can back out from the painting and the section you colored will be filled and everything outside the lines will be gone.
Also why is there a "?" is his ear? It is right before you go into the tunnel.

How do you get the achievement? I love this series and I am actually trying to play them in order that is how I found out the achievements but I could not get this one. It says, "Escape Your Mind" and I am assuming that I did "escape" since I beat the game. Am I missing something like a code from another game like what you had to do in the first game with the game jewel?

-spoiler warnings?-
someone asked where to find the "ql" symbol used later in the game; at sometimes the symbol is not visible depending on your position in the room, but if you check all your surroundings thoroughly then you can clearly see the "ql" symbol written on the ceiling. hint: color coordination.
also for the liquid portion take a look at the drawings over the bed. as for the knife part, google van gogh and notice that one of the paintaings resemble him.
