Chapters 1 to 3 - excellent then chapter 4 just becomes a speed race so no time to investigate just copy the walkthrough and hope I can beat the clock. There are lots of Kongregate speed games, I don't like Rusty Lake becoming one of them.

There are three things that I don't like about this game:
1: The book puzzle in part 1.
2: (most of all) The sliding puzzle in part 3.
3: The timed part 4.

I just noticed that the wallpaper behind the dead woman is the same pattern (with different colors) as the infamous carpeting from Kubrik's "The Shining"

I like it except the time limit at the end. The first time I never saw the spirit, but just had the screen start going red while I was doing a puzzle.

i finish the slider without look at the file ... its soo easy ... just follow the color / symbol top bottom in unison

It's funny. The end wasn't scary at all when I wan't really to win, but when I was actually rushing to get it done I did get scared, even though I knew what was going to happen. Good game. :)

Even with the freaking walkthru I can't complete the slider puzzle. The guy makes stupid moves and repeats then undoes himself. Can anyone post a walkthru JUST for the slider that's easy to follow.

People always talk about how dedicated this guy is, but are they forgetting that this detective can get easily distracted by a seemingly pointless bug?

ok. 30 minutes of attempting a slider puzzle and i don't care enough to finish anymore. moral hit 0 entertainment value hit 0 rating of game hit 1 star

Need more time in Chapter 4! I've tried it three times now and nowhere near completing my tasks. It's very frustrating.

I'm playing all the games, anxiously waiting for those details that complete my understanding about the lake and the woman's story. I love Cube Scape.

It's weird, but I was a little let down at the very end because I didn't feel like the elevator went anywhere. I felt like I was stuck between floors and then, voila, I won. It would have been nice if I descended into a vista or something.

Make sure you've got the word beside the phone before you dial the number. Otherwise, the bloody phone won't stop beeping. It was still going at the start of the second chapter.
