@snirpnaj The max sell price is calculated from base value of the car and not the production costs, you can see base value when you hover over Selltime

i've found something i think is a bug. prduction cost is 1,346.70 and the max sell price is 5443. this doesnt add up to 500% and i dont know if it's a bug, but it buggs the hell out of me
The max sales price has nothing to do with the production cost. It is dependend on the production value which is different. It shows the base value when you mouseover the Production Cost in the info screen.

I would spend kreds on car souls if it were more realistic. I can spend 1 day getting 50 car souls or spend 25 creds and get.. 5. Maybe 100 or 250 and I would buy that.

why is there engine effienciency AND maximum speed in the calculation for brake eff? i would suggest taking it out because it is not making any sense.

maybe add one decimal for fuel consumption. when comparing cars i know they are different but it shows just 14l/100km

I love the game, but it's annoying at the start to have to fire and hire staff just to view the different pages (Research, Design) to see how much money you need to upgrade something.

In this game, if you want to make a Team you must have a car, if you don't have a car then, you dont get a team, don't thank me x x x ^-^

Looks like a good upgrade. It is more difficult to win races, on the other hand it was a bit strange to win championships with a car with stats 30% lower than other competitors because you had a the best drivers.
About my post on 26th, I suggest that when a championship is won we are given two choices : 1- accepting to race the next series and have the full CS reward. 2- staying in the same championship and have the CS corresponding to the 2nd place. A way to implement that could be that after the race 16 the winner gets the CS corresponding to the 2nd place. Additionnaly, he would have until next february to check a "go to the next series" button in the team info tab. If he does, he would get the remaining CS after the first race of the next season.

found a problem with the option to fix the car that breaks down,
it asked me if i wanted to fix my latest model (which i hadnt started selling) not the car that broke
the one it wanted me to pay ($0) to fix hadnt even been designed fully, it was just a blueprint waiting in design.

I don't know why you nerfed the car souls again. It was already tedious enough to design the parts and so forth. It took 10 minutes to do all the designing to get 1 car soul with a time warp. AND, I never get the benefit of not selling the car, like you insinuated I did when I mentioned you broke. I haven't checked it again. I was attempting to figure out the fastest way to get car souls. It takes an hour of work to get 12 with time warp, which perfectionists won't even be able to spend. It took days of any reasonable persons work to get to 2 or 3... I mean, seriously, lol. All that work and I spent 100 car souls. It kind of put me off of the game for a week, and you nerf it more?

The reason I made this change is because of 3 reasons:
1. The reason for the time machine was always only if people screw up and become bankrupt, so you have an easier start and can try again with some improvements.
2. Some people wrote scripts to optimize car soul gains with time warps and were able to gain this way more than 10000 car souls a day which is broken imo.
3. People said the best way to earn car souls is with time warps and it is also the most boring way to play this game and the goal of the game is pretty meaningless without some time machine limitation.
So I thought about it for a while and think that the best solution is to remove the car soul gain for the first ingame-year. I know some people hate it, but I can say that most people didn't do this anyway and earned most car souls from races.

I think that the car souls distribution after a championship could be modified. Up to now, racing is not about winning but about "how should I optimize my races to finish at the second place". When my team is not sufficient for a higher level serie and that I am ahead of the current serie, I have to chose stupid strategies (cautious + 3 fuel stops in an easy 20 km race) to lose the first place, so I can secure the souls distribution. A "minimal 1st place" in a serie is more or less equivalent to a 6th or 7th place in the next serie, which means no car souls for the next several years.
I think about it, while I think it is a good idea to let the player make strategies to finish at 2nd, I might add a car soul reward for the later ranks.

It seems criminal to be able to quickly sell a car with a top speed of 75kph, for 43-grand in 1950. While a very fun game, the scaling from the real-world is horribly off. Making research upgrade costs double at level 30 is a significant part of this scaling weirdness.
You are right, I could have made the scaling for everything a bit better. But I will keep it as it is now because it would probably screw up a lot of users if I would totally change the balancing of the game now. I rather keep the experience gained and try to make it better if I make a similar game in the future.

I am wondering. If I invest in Production cost (research) reduction, that will also reduce my margin, since its 400% of my production cost. Right? So not really worth it.

Love this game! Very addictive!
In the past 2 days, I got a bug where PP are not generating altought being offline. Did check on the info tab, it shows the date 19 Dec (Eventhough today is 21st). Tried to make offline & online saves, however still cannot get the PP nor updated dates.
FYI i'm using OSX 10.10 and Google Chrome.
The date on the info-page shows the date when I last puplished an new version, not the current date.
Kind of weird, I thought at least saving before going offline and loading when coming back should work. Did you save online and were offline for at least halv an hour?
I also never could reproduce an issue and not getting PPs after coming back. (I only don't get them, when I already have 50).
Though I don't have an OSX and couldn't test it there.

i have 5 car souls... and an upgrade cost 5 car souls, but it tells me i don't have enough... two days and a 2 restarts later. Also, and this is just a suggestion, would it be possible to see your racing opponents' stats or at least their speed or skill?

ohh man so i waited till the last second quite literally to start designing my next racing car, literally it was February, I got to building the prototype and realized there was only 15 minutes of febuary left and i needed 18 minutes to finish my prototype, so i went and started construction on expanding the design building, then i fired 10 salesman so that i could then hire 10 design people all with 100 experience, made it with 25 seconds to sign up in, clicked submit with some bogus name with 1 second to spare, man i have never felt so stressed playing a game before, i better win this race season now

@eeowdah make sure you dont log out of kongregate when you go offline, keep logged in, dont reset cookies cache etc etc.
If you don't get PP even if you were offline for a while, try to save online before you close the game and then load the onlinesave when you come back. That should add your offline-progress, if you don't get it automatically.

great game in pretty much every aspect. and a good developer who is always updating :)
if i was going to get critical on anything (and these are tiny things) maybe add a 1 soul button for when using souls on sell speed etc. the amount of times ive ended up with 4 souls left and am like Doh!
the other thing would be to increase the % boost from 1 to 2 for the soul upgrades. would add the incentive to keep reseting like a true idle game.
