In the Car souls upgrade for "time until you get a progress point" the cost for the last price (950CS for -150sec) is broken, even if you buy 30 times the first upgrade (30CS for -5sec so 30CSx30times=900CS for -150sec) it's less expensive in every case.
Just for say, buy the 480CS for -100sec, this is the more worthy

I just lost 65 million in taxes... would be nice to find other ways to handle the taxes. Maybe do donations to help with company image and count as a tax break?

Maybe a glitch or maybe a bad visual representation. Reached 4 liters per 100km and I only got the reward for 5 liters.

Ryu, I've hit another odd glitch... I have -18, -3, and -2 cars produced. No idea what chain of events lead to it. First time using limited additions and I think this is all cars that are limited... which all of these are.

@Jhonpalliser5 - Offline gains are done in the form of progress points. I feel that they aren't as loaded as they should be... but instead of getting 3 months every hour offline you get 2 while you are away to spend when you can focus on the game. Slows progress too much, imo. @Ryu82: Bug, I have 100 car souls and when I spend 100 car souls it tells me I do not have enough. Tried spending it on Max car price, if that helps.

@S30Z Not sure how to say this... when you research, you need to reach multiples of 5 for any benefit. You can take points out of other categories to spend in other areas. So, when you have 7 points in engine and need to make a new engine for various strategies, that is 2 points wasted. You can't free-up 3 bonus points to put into there and you can recover the 2 expensive points. You research for "Design" points. So, you either need to add 5 design points to the engine to get to the next cylinder or you need to lose 5 to drop it. Anything that isn't a multiple of 5 is wasted and I am suggesting that not be the case.

Is it maybe time to give this game unlimited progress points? I imagine all the money that this game might make has already been made, and this game really would be a hidden gem if the pace wasn't so slow. So to reawaken interest and get better rankings maybe give people the opportunity to advance as quickly as they like?

@MikeyMcMike That isn't my point. My point is a suggestion for some value for 2-4 point differences or significantly reduce research cost. If I have an engine with 18 points of research it is treated as an engine of 15 points of research. There will be times due to game events or sheer timing that you have to forgo this investment entirely and can't wait until you are able to afford the remainder 2 points else go bankrupt by the time you do.
@Ryu82 Would also like to recommend some kind of indicator for the end of the month. It would help plan research and design. Often times I am trying to spend as much as I can in December but may have to decide to scatter my research because I don't know if I'll get enough in that focus. There are other areas this will benefit like setting-up for a race last minute.

@Zarcc the increments of five do have a use, though. Know how most stats can only have 2 points removed to allocate them elsewhere? With cylinders, reducing the cylinders gives another 5 points pre cylinder to allocate elsewhere, like power or efficiency.

As cylinder cost so much and takes 5 points to go up one, would be nice if I have 3 points into it and free-up 2 more points that I could up it instead of having them wasted. Else, reduce that crippling cost, 742k for level 18 to 19 and 781k for the following makes it cost several million just to up it to 20. If I have 3 points left over and want to hold off for that +1.5M, that be nice...

@Anyone who cares: Design will increase any stat that has parenthesis "( )" next to it. A little doesn't go a long way. The (Value) will be the base and next to it will be the current.

@TurboMattK I am still pretty new to this game so I can't say I have the best strategies figured out yet. I try to go on as long as I can and keep the loans coming in hopes to get the one more soul out of the respawn. It might be better though, to just keep taking it right-off if you can't really earn that much more quickly. I am on year 1914 and hanging strong but my racing team might cripple me though, their cost is $135K of my 165K/yr expense.
Anyone know if increasing design is worth it? I can't figure out what it does exactly and the in-game text seems a little vague.

Ryu82! Sorry for filling up your board... just want to say, I played your other idle games and played games on Kongregate for over 11 years. This is the first time I spent money on any of these games. Not much right now, but I'll send you more if you keep progressing this game. Great work, man. Also, awesome work on the anti-cheat system. Pretty top notch and beyond what I'd expect on Kongregate.

@Kofi6111: It tells you when you mouse over the size for the body design. Keep in mind the Chassis has to match the "Body Size" stat as the Body size stat is for them to combine. Something like... 1 million cc (cubic centimeters) is the smallest for 1 person and 1 extra person for every 400k points after that. So, 3 people would be 1.8 Million people and 4 at 2.2 million (30 points for the first size and 40 points for every size after that). Again, has to go in BOTH Chassis and body size. Makes this stat pretty late game.

I really wish you would put out Idle Car Manager 2! In that have the ability to speed up time with your PP points vs just skipping 30 minutes ahead.

Question: In the design tab, say I have only my first parts (alpha). If I raise the alpha parts level of all of these to 3, do I have to create a new blueprint to account for the updates? Or, do I create a new car, with all of the updated Alpha parts?
What's the best way (before I have research, that is)...Thanks in advance!

I really enjoyed the game. But I have problems creating new car models. The Game always says that the quality of the model I am creating is lower than desired. Unfortunately, I can not resolve this. Pretty sure I mentioned this before, but I would love an option to get a discount on research/designing cost by spending car souls. Discounts for both base cost, and how much the cost increases by would be great, and make things a fair bit easier.
