Absolutely beautiful graphics, not entirely original concept but fairly well done. Was lacking slightly in the finer points of the storyline and UI-friendliness, but not enough to really injure the gameplay. It could tend to be a bit slow, especially waiting for 14 enemies to pop out of 7 pipes 1 at a time. Character development was good, but like 3 missions before the end you already have everything maxed and nowhere else to go. The ending was also very abrupt and anticlimactic.
Overall a nice game with beautiful graphics, definitely worth a quick play through if only to admire the graphics, but I'm going to have to give it a 3/5 because of all the little details that just weren't there.

Nice game! I like the system and the squaddies move smart if I send them to do something. I think it would be nice to have a multiplayer mode on games like these...

Great Game, rather easy though especially if you give the assault rifles to some of you squad and stand them next to the monster holes on guard. Reminded me a bit of Syndicate Wars without a psuedatron!

It seems this game is a copy (yet free so I'll play) of space hulk, nostalgia indeed but I dislike the fact the game tries to guide you no matter what.

Pretty cool game. would like to see 1 sewer hole open, both enemies come out all at once though instead of all of them opening, then one enemy come out at all of them, then the 2nd come out at all of them.... maybe a speed up option too?

actually, two of my team members didn't have level 8 by the survival level. You really don't have to kill everything. I wonder how few things you actually have to kill to win.

I simply can NOT bring myself to give this game a 5/5 or even a 4/5. The excessive amount of time it takes just to complete a turn is unbearable. It takes me on average 30~ to clear one level. The levels aren't even that hard, it's just the ridiculous amount of time it takes for the units to deploy, the troops to move, and the overall gameplay to unfold. The game is solid and the gameplay would be 5/5 worthy if I could set the speed to 4-8x or so. I understand this is a turn-based game but that's hardly an excuse. Good game, just at a terrible speed.

This game certainly deserves a sequel. Or a continuation. this so feels like a training exercise for something bigger. We have seen two classes so far. And equipment loadouts for one. Would like to see more fo this.

Incubation was one of my all time favorite computer games. A lot like Space Hulk. Turn based squad tactical games rock!

Very addictive tactics game with nice graphics. I LOVE putting a sniper in defence mode just around a corner. Only downside is that it's getting a bit too easy after the level with moving platforms.

Classes would be cool, something like Scout: lots of AP, cannot use heavy weapons, Assault, lots of power, Medic, can heal squad mates, Sniper, max range.

this used to be a real game you could get on pc... i don't know if the titel is the same its been a long time, also hated when i tried to download it back before it was on here, made me mad cuz there was a bug and it wouldn't play. and also good tactic for easy killing enemies and leveling solders fast is have them equipped with the assault rifle (the one with the bayonet) and put them next to the monster spawners where they would touch both monsters as they came out and put them in defensive mode and as soon as a monster comes out its dead

it's a fun game, but on lvl 3, lost interest because it needs to be "smoother" and have more tactical aspects.
I made the Blue guy my "Master Chief" of sorts

The survival mode should be more of a mini-game. Then just add more and more levels. Maybe a level maker. Play as the enemy. But it is a really fun game. I just wish it had more levels.

I think the worst part about the game, is its a little sluggish imo, when you move it takes a few seconds, and the enemies since there are a large number of them in certain instances, It'd be nice if there was like a fast foward button or something. Other than that I REALLY like the game, P.S - 1 sniper, 3 Assault rifles + Magnus the heavy weapons dude = KICK ASS TEAM! Put the assaults near the exit holes, and put em to defend, every1 there basically dies if they try to come out! Just thought I'd point that out :D

Pretty awesome game. I wish you could speed up enemy moves, especially on the last level when there are a lot of them. I also wish you could get past level 8. I maxed out levels pretty quick and then killing was more for watching the death animation than any real need to kill.

it might seem obvious, but making one of the 2 characters in the first tutorial level open their respective box of ammo/credits from a diagonal would show people you can use/melee hit from that direction. anyone would find it out playing more than 3 maps, but it seems like a small oversight

Really great game but two suggestions.
-Marines get too powerful too fast, more variety of enemies would have made it possible to increase the challenge
-Different classes with different available weapons and starting stats would've been cool, like with the heavy but expand on that concept.

Kudos to the developer! This is one of the best games I have ever played (in my opinion) on Kongregate. This is the type of game I have always wanted to play in the Flash Game medium. It brings me back to my days playing X-Com, and that is truly awesome. I truly hope that you intend to follow up with a sequel. If you do, I will pay you 1 billion kreds (or a significantly lesser amount of my choosing) if you add an element of bases, research & development, maybe some type of defensive aspect, and variety and customization (weapons and otherwise) with the soldiers. Seriously, you would be my heroes!! Thanks for the great game.

A really nice game overall, but here are the main criticisms I have: (1) The game is extremely easy once you get the hang of it, and requires only very basic tactical thinking to beat. (2) Enemy turns take way too long (especially the survival mission). (3) Short. Needs more missions, or at the very least more variety - more enemies, more weapons, more maps, etc.
